well, if you change username recently, and see that one word in the username is writed wrong, this message will appear:

"You have already changed your Username within the last 122 days. You can change it again in 121021092039 Months and over 8000 Days."

or something

soo, this suggestion is about delete this time, I mean, you change you username and need to wait over 9000 years to change again. this time to wait looks useless.

Full support. I hate it when i get a good idea for a username, and it says i have to wait. Because, what if someone else took the username you wanted before you could change it?

This was added to avoid confusion about constantly changing usernames. but no support anyways, I don't really see why you don't have to wait xD

So you wouldn't be confused if one of your friends changed their username every (2) day(s)?
I would :/ It's not only for the user who changes their name, it's also to avoid confusion among other users.

No support; I think the time limit is fine as it is.

Waiting 1 month would probably be fine or something, but if it was in days then people would probably abuse it.

I think maybe less waiting time would be great! but we know there are some people who would abuse the shortened time and change their user a lot makeing it hard for people to reconise them, but that's also quite unfair to people who don't abuse it.... I could go eather way im 50 50 ..

I don't think it should be implemented. Like, changing your username each time you guessed a wrong number in a contest and then changing the number? It kinda supports scamming also. But I would agree with a suggestion to lower the time to like 2-3 months.

I think the time limit of 2.5-3 months would be OK but not every 2 days or 1 week.
Just think of it ! every user is changing his/her name.
I think it would not only cause confusion but it will also cause a huge burden/lagging on this site.

Absolutely NO support. Just the other day, a user changed their name so that it was the same as another user's name (plus one letter) in order to claim the other person's raffle prize.

If people change their name too much, what's there to stop someone from changing their name to Harknesss just to claim things that I've paid for that are in the gts? I mean, under your suggestion, they could do that every couple days with another user.

I mean, what's to stop any of the 35,482 users from changing their name to TailsPower and claiming stuff you've paid for in the gts? And then scamming someone else later this week?

With the changes farther apart, it's easier to track and report a scammer

If you can read this, you know how to read.

Harkness took the words out of my mouth, lol.

The only thing I can think of is giving a grace period to change your username when you change it. (Like 1 hour after the first change to change it again, due to a typo, or not liking how it reads after seeing it on your page, or whatever. But you get the chance to change it once during that time. And if you change it, then it triggers the usual 122 day wait. if you don't use it, then when the time is up, you have to wait the 122 days for it)

Again, users are already using this feature to scam items/pokemon from raffles and trades, but it's much easier to catch and report if they can't change their name in a day or two after the fact.

You don't understand do you? You can ask them?! What if they changed their avatar as they did with their username? Also no support for reasons already stated! What if a friend changes their username every day? Exactly what CatLady said!

No, I would not support 1 month. 2-3 months is the shortest time I'd agree with.

I support if it was changed to a month or two but not to days- I usually have troubles remembering name changes and it takes me a while to get used to someone's new name and if people could change usernames all the time.. It would be really confusing because you'd easily be able to forget who is who.

I honestly think that 2/5 months would be fine. 4 months is literally a whole Fourth of the year. A fourth. So only changing your username 4 times would lead to a whole year?

I'm not really bothered too much by it, except Im planning on changing my username to Yokonii, and I feel like I'm waiting for the sun to explode, then I can change my username. I think that everyone can deal with 2/5 months, and Navuso also makes a good point about the hour stuff.
