"Oh!" Tsukasa's smile brightened, and he nodded. "I get it. I like watching people, too. People do very interesting things sometimes. As long as they aren't boring anyways. Oh, I think you're interesting, too," he added nonchalantly, thoroughly enjoying his choice to talk to her already. Finally, someone who might actually be exciting to be friends with! He hoped she'd be in Slytherin, but it didn't really matter; he, unlike some of his stuffy fellow Slytherins, had no problems talking to people in other houses. "Most people deny it if they're staring at me. You didn't. I like that," Tsukasa said, rocking back slightly on his feet. "I'm Tsukasa Yugi. I'm in Slytherin. A fourth year. My twin brother, Amane, is in Ravenclaw."

"Alison Forester," she said bluntly, "But most people call me Bunny. And by that, I mean my parents, since I don't have any friends." She didn't mind the fact that she had no friends, but admitted it matter-of-factly because it was the truth. She didn't have any real friends to speak of. "So you have a brother? I don't have any siblings, so that must be nice, having someone to depend on." Again, she said this as casually as if she were mentioning that there were a lot of people in the room, simply stating her opinion.

Letting out a happy hum, he nodded. "Amane is the best. I'll call you just Alison, but if you want a friend I'll be your friend," Tsukasa said cheerfully. "I'm dependable, too. Well," he amended, placing a finger on his chin, "Amane says so, at least." He liked Alison a lot already. She was so straightforward, completely different than Amane, who was like a huge, million-piece jigsaw puzzle. Tsukasa found himself wondering what Alison would think about all the magical things that she had in store, and already, experiment ideas were popping into his head. Usually these ideas would be in the form of pranks, to get a reaction, but this time, it was more like simply introducing her to things and to see what new things she would say next.

"That would be nice." She shrugged a little. "It makes sense that your sibling would see you as dependeable, though I suppose that it depends on the relationship between siblings, so I suppose that means you have a good relationship with your brother." She clasped her hands behind her back. "So if you're a fourth year, how old are you?"

"Amane and I are best friends and mostly inseperable," he said matter-of-factly, glancing over to the Ravenclaw table where he knew his brother was sitting, somewhere. Beaming, he turned his gaze back to Alison. "Well then, we're friends! I'm fourteen years old. You're probably eleven, right," Tsukasa added, phrasing it more as a statement than an inquiry. She seemed to have a lot of questions. That was a Ravenclaw thing, right? He had questions, too, though, and he was in Slytherin.

Alison nodded. "Yes, I am. Though as far as I can tell you deduced that from the fact that I'm a First Year, which leads me to belive that most houses have an average age. Interesting," she mused. Shaking her head a little, she said, "Hagrid mentioned a Sorting Ceremony, and my mother chattered about it quite a lot while we were in Diagon Alley. What exactly does that mean?"

Well, that was a normal enough question for a first-year. Tsukasa remembered being quite surprised when students suddenly got sat on a stool and told where to spend the next seven years by a talking hat. He really, really wanted to know how that hat worked, but so far, he wasn't able to get his hands on it. "Mhm, most people start at age eleven and finish at age seventeen, once they're of age to perform magic. Oh, I guess that's why they did that," Tsukasa realized. "The Sorting Ceremony is where they put you into your house. A big magic hat comes and gives a speech in poem format and then it reads your mind and tells you which house to be in," the boy explained, miming the actions as he talked.

"When you put it that way, this place seems stranger then I apear to people that I watch," Alison said dryly. She wasn't surprised, as Diagon Alley had proved that things were much more different here then in the Muggle World, but it was stil odd to think about. She wondered which house she would get into...She couldn't quite remember if her mother had mentioned her own house, she had been much more preocupied with watching people and being completley disinterested in the entire thing, her mother's constant chatter dulling the excitement.

Anthony had quickly exited the carriage, walking at a brisk pace towards the Great Hall. He moved towards the Slythering table, keeping his head down. The third year quickly took a seat, lightly wriggling in discomfort. He still felt a little shakey, keeping his hands under the table to try and hide it.

As the carriages neared a stop, Brooke exited. "It was nice to meet you Aria. Hopefully we can chat more!" She exclaimed, before darting towards the Great Hall. She excitedly slid into a seat at the Ravenclaw table. Eagerly greeting all at the table.

"Yes, it is a very strange place," Tsukasa agreed, smiling up at the enchanted ceiling that was showing a beautifully clear night, spotted with stars. "That's why I like it so much." Looking back to Alison, he figured it was his turn to ask a question. "Is there a house you want to be in?" He wondered how much she'd heard about the houses - he and Amane had had no idea what their houses meant until a few weeks after the Sorting, after they'd observed the stereotypes and asked their peers about it. Supposedly, Slytherin was the house of the ambitious and cunning, and people thought that Slytherins were most likely to become evil. Ravenclaw was the house of wisdom and learning, but most people assumed that it was simply "smart people" and left it at that.

She glanced up at the ceiling before looking back at him. "No, my mum, the witch in the family, never quite properly explained Hogwarts to me. She was, uh," Alison paused, "Too busy." She shook her head a little, clearing her thoughts. "Though I suppose it really doesn't matter, what with the Sorting Hat choosing for you."

Aurora had stared at the black creature pulling the carriages more them most. Unlike most, who either couldn't see them or had first seen them late in there years at Hogwarts, Aurora had been able to see them since her very first year there. She had seen so many forms of death, she couldn't even keep them all straight.

Heidi fidgeted in her seat. She was VERY uncomfortable. She could barely move and it was beyond annoying her. She had taken to staring at various students from other houses until they caught her staring at them. It was quite amusing, she thought, when they realized she was staring and then turned away with there faces all red.

Sitting at the Hufflepuff table with her chin in her hand, 'Ri stared somewhat blankly at the podium. She could tell that she needed food; the girl was beginning to feel a bit crabby, and her stomach pinched. The seats around her kept switching from open to taken as various people who she really would have liked to talk to longer dropped by to say 'hi' before taking off again to sit elsewhere. To try and amuse herself, she was playing an internal game of, "How long will so-and-so stay?" The record was 4 minutes, 26 seconds, although she may have been counting a bit too quickly due to her mounting hunger. While she knew they didn't mean anything by it and that eventually the seats would fill, that didn't stop her brain from being stupid. Trying to snap herself out of it, the 16 year old shoved an amiable, resting smile on her face and sat up, pulling her legs up onto the bench so that she was sitting cross-legged. Adjusting her robes, she turned her gaze up to the ceiling, as if she were once more absorbed in its intricacy and beauty. She was, to tell the truth, always had been and always would be, but she'd seen it enough that she wasn't normally fixated on it with this sort of intense interest, which was largely feigned.

You were faithful then, You'll be faithful now."

Scarlett got off the carriage, and entered alongside the many students, before heading to the Slytherin tables. She was soon called on by the Headmistress, mcgonagall, who wanted to talk to her about her pursuit in the Dark Arts. She let out a huff of annoyance, Why were they all so paranoid? She learnt the Dark Arts, she didn’t practice it anyways. She sighed and went over to her table again, now fully dressed in robes, wand in hand, ready to hex anyone should the need arise.

"Looking for someone?" Holly hissed, tapping Anthony on the shoulder and sliding into the seat next to him. She smiles at him with her mischievous smile, the one that said "I have something planned." Her appearance slightly wavers, as if there was a curtain in front of her face, but it disappears quickly.

Anthony jumped as he heard a voice and a tap on his shoulder. His eyes were wide as he turned to see who sat next to him. "Holly!" He gasped, his voice sounding in disbelief. "What are you talking about?" He asked, realizing that maybe he hadn't phrased the question correctly. He lightly buried his head in his chest in embarrassment. Lightly looking back up at her he clarified. "Like, what are you planning?"

Holly smiled again. "Fun." was all she said. "I'm sorry I wasn't here last year...." she says, her smile faltering a bit. "I had to take care of some... problems." she says. Her appearance wavers again. "How was your second year?" she asks.

Anthony listened to her apology, lightly shifting in nervousness. It wasn't his fault, hopefully. "Ah. It's okay. Nothing too eventful happened last year, really." And by nothing eventful he meant he hadn't lost control at all the last year, and he wasn't hurt or anything. He finally seemed to notice her appearance wavering, lightly narrowing his eyes in concern. "Hey, uhm... are you sure you're okay? You're kind of..." His sentence trailed off as he realised he didn't know how to explain it.

Watching over the hall, Jules' eyes narrowed at the sight of a drawn wand. While it technically wasn't against the rules, it certainly was unsafe so he headed over to Scarlett, approaching from the front so that he would be seen. "Hi there, can I ask you to put away your wand?" He requested as he stopped in front of the Slytherin girl. He had a calm smile on, attempting to approach and settle this calmly

Holly takes a deep breath. "It's an illusion charm." she says quietly. "Flitwick and I agreed when I said I would be coming back, that it'd be less... alarming to students." she said. "Last year I was working with a hunter, for lack of a better term, who was searching for dangerous animals, like rabid hippogriffs and kelpies and things like that, and well, I sustained a couple injuries." she says, shrugging. Holly acts like it's no big deal, but her eyes betray her anxiety and worry.
