Supernatueral HG 2
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Supernatueral HG 2The girl from One just smirked at Kayda, she could definalty see the two of them working together.
Rita's face had drained of color as she tried to busy herself with learning how to use a sword. Leaf was in the same state as Molly, shaking and crying, but now her stress was pushed up higher now that Harlow had been drug out of the room. They weren't going to hurt her, were they?
"Will you shut up!" One of the Peacekeepers shout. "For the safety of yourself, Leaf, and the district one chick you'll temporarily be separated from the group" the Peacekeeper explains.
"No, you can't do that. She'll need me!" Harlow snaps as she tries to wrestle with them a bit more. She winces from a sudden sting in her neck. She relaxes under their grip. She isn't unconscious or paralyzed, just incredibly relaxed. She says nothing as she is dragged back to her room.
Tempest decides to leave Leaf and Gateguard be. He has this taken care of. Although she does shoot Leaf an encouraging smile. She goes back to the plant memorizing game. She finds it's hard to focus after all that has happened.
Kayda abandons her plan to "help" Emmie and Chakti. She skips around the careers. Showing off her strengths with them as well as chatting and joking around with them.
As the time passed it was quickly lunch. The capital's mute slave/servents, Avoxes (traitors to the capital), started settig up a large lunch buffet in the middle of the floor. Once it had been finished the capital woman called the tributes over to eat, and there was anything to everything that one could dream of to eat. Soups, salads, deserts, and even things that couldn't be named.
(Most of) the careers all lunched together often being a bit rowdy around a table, as if proving they're unafraid of eachother and the other tributes were beneth notice and nonthreatening. The others either sat alone or in small groups with people they considered friends or allies.
Rita and Leaf were sitting together, forming a sisterly bond despite Harlow's grandmother's warning.
Kayda once again sits at the career table. She sits in the spot where Tempest should be. Their mood towards her is an improvement from their mood from breakfast. Kayda continues to play her "dopey, hyped up idiot" act. If she is teaming up with them, she'll want them to underestimate her. Even better, she'll want to seem like she isn't a threat. Someone you can keep alive because they'll be easy to kill later.
Tempest hangs around Gateguard. She shoots him a look that reads Where should we sit?
As everyone ate, Kyu slowly came back into the room, she was in a clean training outfit as the other had been stained with her blood and probably not the best thing to show up in after narrowly avoiding death. Kyu had a slight gimp in her step and still looked really shaken though.
Molly kept his head down, keeping his eyes closed as he worked on yet another fishhook. His fingers flew over the twine and materials as a pile of beautifully crafted hooks lay at his side. He had experimented and fashioned things that strayed from the traditional hook, one almost looking like a harpoon head. He ignored the food and let his fingers work out of instinct. All that concentration went out the window the moment Kyu walked through the doors and Molly rushed over to her, concern written all over his face. "Are you alright?" he asked, voice wobbling.
Chatting with some of the other careers Julian raised an eyebrow at Kayda's antics but generally payed the girl little mind. He was focused on training his body yet again for another grueling dive into the arena. Fate was a cruel and fickle mistress who seemed hellbent on tossing him into the lion's den yet again, forcing his hand every year. He could see Adelaide and recognized her from last year but since he didn't know her quite well, he stayed away from socializing with her. In general, he held himself an arm's width away from everyone, protecting himself from the pain that he would inevitably have to bear when they were tossed into the arena.
"Really good!" Tempest replies happily. "I am now a fire starting master" she says with a laugh. "And I am slightly familar with which plants are edible and which aren't" she pauses for a moment so she can take a bite out of a piece of her grilled cheese and take a sip of her soup. "How's training going for you?" She asks
Molly's hands caught Kyu's in borhterly concern in his wavering voice. "I mean I'm alive, sore but if you can't feel pain you're not alive. . .right?"
As if he didn't really believe her, Molly took a quick glance at her before visibly relaxing. "That's good, thank whatever deity is out there." He whispered, shoulders slumping. He looked so much more tired now but he brightened up with a smile. "Let's get you some food, you must be starving."
