Aaron gives the bird one more grateful look. "Well, thanks Cinder! Ill see you around..." Aaron is about to head into the portal when he turns around thoughtfully. "Cinder... do you want to come with me?"

Cinder smiles. This kid isn't bad. And lonely? Well... he hates to admit is, but its been a little depressing living on his own... "Deal." He perches on Aaron/Cobalt as they hop through the portal.

*Avagon explores the base it was really big he could tell that it was built to be dragon size as he sees other dragon walking by, he maintains his human form as he grows his wings flying through 5he entire base trying to known it better*

Aaron quickly finds the room where he left his books. "Do you mind staying here for a minute, Cinder? I need... to talk with someone.'

'Sure thing,' Cinder says telepathicaly. Aaron gives the firey bird a glance, then exits and approaches Jade.

*Surprising that none of the dragons as felt a intruder or someone else inside the base. He still flies around the base seeing the med room, training zone and the gym so far, most of the things he been seeing was really advance* I wonder... *he dismisses those thought as he still flies around there base*

Jade looked at Cobalt, retrieving her own book, about to take it to a quiet chamber. "Yeah...?" She noticed the new recruit approaching her, wondering what the matter was.

Aaron looks at jade with a frustrated expression. "What was that about? I mean, I know we found Cinder and thats great, but it was a gut feeling. What if it was nothing at all? And we almost DIED! I had, what, one round of training before you invited me?" Aaron knows it isnt right to direct his frustration at Jade, but he has to vent somewhere. "And why are we even fighting these monsters? Why are griffins and Dragons enemies? I found a book that teaches Griffin language, why do we have to fight?"

"What I'm saying is, this system is flawed."

Crimson looked left and right, looking for other dragons, then quickly sliced a rift a launched himself through it. He emerged right where he wanted to be: The other side of the world, where dragons were less known. He started to tunnel, headed towards a medium sized city.

Jade shrugged. "It was a little more than a gut feeling. And I can't explain the system." She felt awkward explaining this, and just wanted to make an escape. "The phoe--Cinder might help us. So yeah." She did know why griffins were enemies with dragons, but didn't want to be the one to explain it to a newbie, even if said newbie had been chosen by a legendary creature.

*Avagon heard a argument close by so he flew to check on it. When he arrive he saw Aaron and Jade arguing he flew next to Aaron shoulder as he listen to the conversation* Why you don't ask the leader then?

Jade nodded and fled to a cave she could rest in. She called over her shoulder, "You should get some sleep, I'm pretty sure it must be at least 10 PM right about now."

Aaron blinked as he looked at the black dragon. "You! You never told me your name," Aaron says. "as for the leader... hes.. a little scary."

That was putting it mildly.

Aaron turned back to Jade. "Shoot, I gotta get home. I told by Abuela I was out with some friends... hopefully she wont worry."

Aaron ran back to the room, grabbed his books , slipped them in his backpack, and made a portal, slipping through.

My human name or my dragon name? *He said with a smile trying to joke but he was terrible at it* The name is Avagon and my dragon called Ba- Black but pls just B for short *He dint like the code name he came up with it was stupid that he couldn't use his real dragon name but he dint knew if the name was well known among dragon's* I'm a bit different among the dragons here

Kevin fell asleep in his bed, his fox resting on top of him. His last thoughts were of Jade...and then his brother...then blackness.

Jade fell asleep after hours of reading her book, in her unconsciousness, she was clutching the book where its bookmark rested in the page, the last thing she did before passing out.

"cool, thanks!" Aaron said, as he hopped through the portal.

He landed right outside his house, in imporvement from last time. He shapeshifted into a Human, barely carrying his books, and went indide. His Grandma was asleep, and there was a note on the table: Ordered takeout for when you get back, enjoy! - Abuela.

Sushi, his favourite! He scribbled down thanks on the note, and grabbed the takeout. "So Cinder, want to eat?" The bird trilled, and Aaron took it as a yes. He strutted into his room, Cinder perched on his shoulder. He needed sleep, but he wanted to read a bit more. He grabbed a book, and he and Cinder began eating sushi and reading the books. Soon after, they fell asleep, bellies full and half way though a book.

...* he flew again trying to find someone to talk to about this place and its origins and maybe a little bit more on there leader. He flew to a library he was shock and amaze of the so many books here but it only dragon's could read them due to their height and size* Oh boy... *he transform into a dragon and began to read about the monster's, people and dragon's*

"Finally!" Aria exclaimed in excitement as a Shiny Joltik came popping up on screen. She already had one with Unnerve, but Compoundeyes is a much more useful ability, so off she went to hunt for the Joltik. She somehow ran into 2 other Unnerve Joltiks along the way. One Ultra Ball later, Aria used Dig to get out of Chargestone Cave. She had the feeling of unease that came with missing out on something big, and she wondered what it was. Maybe the dragons got another mission? (She was grounded and didn't know what was going on with the dragons, griffins, and Cinder.)

Copper was still awake. After what had happened, she couldn't sleep. She went to the library to read for a while to try and calm herself down.

Echo was at her house, reading until she looked at the cock and realized what time it was. Wow, I didn't mean to stay up that late! She thought. She put a bookmarking her book and went to sleep.

Time skip to the next day. Sunday.

Kevin awoke from his sleep. The first thing he did after stretching his stiff limbs was make breakfast. Beggining to mix pancake batter, he hoped Vix wouldn't wake and demand food while he was cooking. That was the only small worry he let himself have.

The sound of dragons starting to move about actively in the base again caused Jade's ears to twitch. Opening her golden eyes, she properly closed her book and figured she'd finish it today when she had the free time. Remembering the day, she recalled tomorrow was halloween, which was cool, maybe skme candy would be on sale. She licked her lips at the thought of it.

Since it was Sunday, Aria's parents allowed her to go out. She wasted no time in finding a secluded area and heading to the base. Once there, she decided to look for one of the other dragons. Something definitely had happened, but she didn't know what. Sunflower decided to look around for a dragon that knew what was going on.
