Currently, Shiny Aqua requires you to
hatch 50,000 Lab eggs. That is a completely unreasonable amount, as
a user stated in this
complaint.
One of the main issues is that Shiny Hunting is a core feature of the site. Lab eggs break your chain, so you can’t work towards Shiny Aqua while shiny hunting, unlike the other Harvest Sprites.
A second issue is the large number of eggs needed. Most reasonably active users can probably hatch 50 eggs a day, 100 on 2x. At 400 eggs a week, that’s 125 months of Lab hunting, 10.5 years.
If the goal was dropped to 10,000, it’d take 25 months, which is a bit more than 2 years. Still a large amount, but a lot more reasonable.
The other option is making it require X of any egg, not just Lab eggs. I have hatched 5k eggs in 8 months here. But 1000 of those were on a 4x day using Gem Collector Weedle eggs, with flutes and Premium. Another 1000 Weedle in the same week.
I was also on a couple shiny hunts + had some weeks with 30k EHP eggs in my party, which means I hatched slightly less eggs. Let’s say I hatched 4k eggs in 6 months. That’s 8k a year; 32k in four years. So maybe a goal of 25k-30k [for all eggs, not just lab eggs]

Ill understand doing 10M interactions as PH is a clicking site, but hatching 50k lab eggs (that's like doing 1,000 days of constantly hatching 50 eggs- which is honestly doable only for premium members with flutes on), which is not that doable as PH is not
