Graduation Day RP
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Graduation Day RPEmika began to trek to her dorm room. She was so bored.... The temporary entertainment of watching people fall over themselves for the Ball was just that; temporary. And as much as she prided herself on elegant parties and gorgeous appearances, she wasn't too happy. She felt... empty, hollow. The joy of having a murderous split personality definitely didn't help...
Eris tuned back in as Leonidas approached again, who gave a slight bow and apologized for the delay. When he extended his hand to her, she could feel a slight heating at her cheeks. This was something she never imagined could happen to her... Pushing the thought aside for the time being, she delicately accepted the hand with a shy smile.
He quickly cleared his throat, trying to bring himself back from the shock. "So uhm... Have you heard about the ball?" That should be one way of getting to know whether or not she already has someone to go with. He'd really have to be careful with the timing this time...
Eris couldn't help a small smile at the question. It was a pretty good icebreaker and it was a currently popular topic. As the two made their way towards the cafeteria, she nodded. "Yes I have. I even received the invitation today. It's truly a mystery of an event, not even the Elites know what it may entail, it's that secret."
Upon entering the cafeteria, Eris sighed a little. "I just wish the students showed more interest in the Ball. So many of them just... discarded their invitations. The Ball is so much more than any previous event. I know it. There's-" She paused on her sentence. She didn't want to cause fright with her sensitive thought. Maybe she should do a Tarot reading soon...
The haon took their napkin and gently wiped their mouth before continuing. "Most people are not willing to spend their time injuring their necks to try and form a bond. Thus, unfortunately, I do not have a partner to attend with, platonic, romantic, or otherwise. Did you happen to have someone of interest?" They asked, the tone in their voice shifting to what sounded like genuine interest. Green eyes stared down, filled with curiosity for the answer.
"There's...?" he repeated, tilting his head sideways in both confusion and curiosity. It was news to him that not even the Elites were unaware of what would go down during the ball but that made it all the more exciting for him!
While waiting for her to reply,he grabbed two plates and carried them over to the area they would choose their meal, also trying to spot any vacant seats for them to sit at.
Eris was very happy that Leonidas agreed with her in regards to the tossing of the Graduation Ball invitations. It made her feel justified. She winced a little when Leonidas brought up her stopped sentence, indicating curiosity and interest in what she had to say. She bit her lip, unknowingly wiping some of the painted pink from her deep blue lips, a result of hypothermia. As the two moved to the food selection area, she finally relented.
"There's...an air in regards to the Ball. An aura that's strange and... possibly bad connected to the event. Call me sceptical, but I'm worried that the reason that not even Elites know what happens at the Graduation Ball, is for some, not exactly dark, but distressing purpose." Eris admitted, pondering the idea of doing a Tarot reading right there in the cafeteria.
Ambrose chuckles and nods, shaking the box a little again. "Well, this story is far less climactic than yours. You know Adara, right? The tall moth lady? Her hair is natural moth fur and she does tend to shed and lose some when she tries combing her hair. Over the course of a year, she amassed some and asked me to sew it into a dress." He lifts the sewing kit. "With the help of dear cousin's kit and perhaps a helping hand from Mother Nature, I can make it worthy... though I never sewn a prop of her size before. It's so exciting."
You know the first rule in combat? shoot them before they shoot you.

Growing tired of being stuck in the room finally while plenty of time has passed after the recent attempt, Sidney jumped out of bed and on there four as she kicked the door open well making sure to restrain her strength enough to not break the door off. Quietly but hastily running out of the room and through the hall, deciding they wanted to hang out in the balcony for a little bit as Sidney made their way there, going up the balcony as they find a good spot to lay down to relax in the sun that was still nice and bright out, closing their eyes when they did lay down as it wasn't like they were falling asleep but simply wanted to have their eyes closed to feel more relax.

But there's no need to tell the young lady in front of him that information.
Ayran smiled gently and shook his head.
"Unfortunately I don't have any interesting stories that Lady Lydia may like. Afterall, I am just an ordinary young lad."
Ayran paused and looked at Lydia with a thoughtful expression.
"...I doubt you'll be interested in such mundane person like me anyways."
"You remind me of someone I've known for a long time Lady Lydia.. though she did become quite the character after she grew up "
Meaning both of y'all are as pushy as an ox would charge seeing red.
"While I do have some stories, it wouldn't be fair for a guest to share first right? What about you Lady Lydia? How was your childhood if you don't mind me asking."
"I see..." He uttered, mostly as filler until he could think of a proper response. "I'll make sure that you...no," he corrected ",everyone stays safe!" he puffed up his chest. He was this close to jumping the gun but he managed to somewhat correct that last sentence of his.
"You often seem to be fiddlin' with some cards before a test or any event hosted by the academy... If it helps you calm down,I wouldn't mind if you want to do that." he added, hoping to reassure her. Truth be told,he has happened to just come across Eris doing a tarot reading but, naturally,Leonidas doesn't know what that is.
Eris felt the heating on her cheeks again, even as Leonidas corrected his sentence. Did he...?
Eris looked up, surprised. Whether it was surprise of being noticed with her little habit or being noticed by Leonidas, she wasn't sure. She spoke, "A-are you sure? Most people think me using Tarot Cards is weird and unnatural..." She absently began to make her breakfast selection; a few richly flavored meats with dried citrus fruits and a bottle of lemonade. She had always enjoyed sour flavors and her ghostly half carved meats.
Ayran sighs at Lydia's nonchalant attitude. What was he here for in the first place? He was only hear to judge upon Lady Mona's dress, so why is he now standing in a unfamiliar room talking to an unfamiliar person?
He could only hope that Lady Mona hurries up.
"Plus, I'm sure Lady Lydia has her own little eccentricities that she's unwilling to tell anyone. And just like you, I do too."
Meaning I won't push further as long as you don't push.
