Current Time: NIGHT
No characters may speak at night. Night will end once all characters complete their night actions.
Alice
A young blonde girl in a blue-and-white dress strode confidently behind the podium.
"Well, well, well, dear yōkai of the Otherworld...How the tables have turned. My name is Alice, and I have brought you all here to participate in a game of life and death. Just like that time in Wonderland," She said in a monotone voice. "I bear no grudge towards divine spirits, such as the...owner of this arena, but you yōkai, however..."
"I've hired some exceptional humans to hunt you down this time. My, how it must feel to experience the terrible feeling of being the uninformed minority, yōkai. I hope this will be a disastrous experience for you all."
She conjured a leaflet in everyone's hands. "Here- this should be at least mildly useful, fufufu..."
Alice collected herself before continuing, "Please stay in the allocated housing, lest the more...unfortunate that haunt this place attack you. And please, do not destroy the Wonderland-themed decor I have placed down. This must feel as authentic of an experience as possible."

Current Time: Day
All characters may speak during the day. They may also choose to condemn a character to the Extermination Room.
"Ohoho...Last night, I found two people dead- Drax Zacira, the Noppera-bō, and Femi Davis, the Ikiryō!" Alice excitedly said. "Well, you heard me. Debate or something, I don't care."
Suko Nobu
It was sunny out when Suko found out that Femi was dead.
Their heart seized in their throat. They couldn't move. Couldn't breathe. Memories were assaulting them- flashes of fire and a girl's too-big smile and alcohol, and nails. pfft.
"Femi...?" they breathed.
Something was squeezing in their ears. They couldn't hear anything- just a buzzing that was coming from their own chest, their heart thudding to it in a twisted symphony.
"Oh god... oh god..." Blood was on their hands. They fell on their butt and scrambled backwards, unable to take their eyes off- off-
The body.
They laughed a horrible, incredulous laugh. "That's not you... right?" And then they were on their feet, mind on someone else entirely. "Paiyoon!" they cried. "Paiyoon! Where are you?" They turned on their heel, hoping she'd somehow appear.
Wha-what?!
Goreon landed on the floor with a hard thud
She looks around and sees 11 other people
She was mad- she had lost the bet
"OKAY-! I DON'T UNDERSTAND- THIS IS NOT FUNNY!" Goreon yelled
What is going on?
Paiyoon Ji
Femi was dead. That was the first thought that came into Paiyoon's mind as she took in her surroundings. While Suko had only given her a limited knowledge of who Femi was, she wasn't sure that it looked good for her. They were going to suspect her again, weren't they? Would Suko suspect her?
And then she really took in her surroundings.
"Woah..." she whispered, impressed despite herself. This was the compound, but it was different. Mushrooms and trees, singing flowers and cards, beetles and caterpillars, tea parties and castles. She was trapped in Wonderland. It was a great change of pace, if she was being honest. The white-walled compound had gotten old by now.
But there was one other change that Paiyoon didn't know how to feel about. The old disembodied voice was... gone. At first Paiyoon was pleased. She had not liked it very much, and it had seemed to detest her equally. Stupid voice. But where had it gone? Alice seemed deranged, to say the least; she had already had two people murdered.
Sorry. Two yokai murdered.
Which was another thing: the entire game seemed to be reversed. An interesting challenge for a veteran like her. Alice was really putting her fledgling skills to the test... there were so many twists.
The voice echoed across the compound when Paiyoon heard it. She looked up immediately. "Paiyoon! Where are you?" Suko was calling her. Her mind returned to the two bodies. Paiyoon wasn't sure she could take it if Suko blamed her. She knew that there had been something between them and Femi. Why had Femi been here? What purpose did that serve? Was the cosmos annoyed at Suko? Was the cosmos annoyed at her?
"I'm here Suko." Paiyoon wasn't sure what to say. The situation was unprecedented to say the least. Especially since Paiyoon didn't completely understand who Femi was. "Talk me through what you're feeling. You need to process. Acknowledge how you feel and why."

Suko Nobu
Suko practically fell over as they whipped in the direction of the voice. There she stood- Paiyoon. Cloak blowing in the breeze, eyes glowing through shadow, figure ominously still.
Their eyes instantly flooded with tears. Before she could react, they flung their arms around her.
"You're alive!" they cried. "You're alive!" They were shaking all over- gripping onto her tighter than they'd ever held someone in their life. They got the feeling that if they let go, she'd slip away-
Just another blood splatter on the ground.
They squeezed their eyes shut, burying their face in her shoulder.
"You're alive... oh my god, Paiyoon... I can't believe you're alive."
Where potions and pastries can make you grow tall, hallucinations and reality is one of a whole. It can be the perfect utopia or the darkest place of the mind Yohan mused. It seems like there are people here who have played this game many times.
'Perhaps I should go talk to them?'
Information was important everywhere, the more he knew that better the chance that he has to survive. Made up his mind, Yohan walked to Paiyoon (?).
"Sorry to bother, but it seems that you have been here before or experienced something similar? Can you tell me whats going on Madam?" Yohan spoke politely, he didn't want his so far only source of trustable (?) information to be scared or hushed away.
Near the center of the room, a pink-haired girl stood, smiling brightly. Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted Paiyoon.
"Woah, that's a cool cloak! I kinda want that, now..."
She didn't mind the bodies, strangely. Anyone hanging around with Artemis had to be a little strange, after all. She glanced around.
"Who're you people, by the way? My name's Emma, Emma Brown! It's great to meet you!"

She looked around nervously. Of all the people there, one of them could've been a murderer.
'Calm down, Kotone. Don't think about the murderers, think about how you're going to survive in this perfectionist's biggest nightmare.' She thought, and anxiously stood up from her sitting position on the grassy ground.
After thinking for a bit, she made her way over to the large group(s). She wasn't planning on listening on in them, just seeing who they were- their personality was her main check. She didn't want to come off as suspicious, or as a stalker, but she was rather curious to know a little more about them. Make note of who was who. Make sure she didn't vote for the wrong person.

Paiyoon Ji
She was frozen as Suko wrapped their arms around her. Paiyoon's face turned the same color as the heart on the card soldier next to her. Their face was buried in her shoulder, tears dampening her cloak. She struggled to put her thoughts in order. Eventually she regained focus enough to awkardly rreturn the hug. This was actually... kind of nice.
Focus, Paiyoon! This was no time for ridiculous thoughts. There was a game to play. She took a deep shuddering breath, and let it out slowly.
"Of course I'm not dead, Suko. I'm right here," She said quietly. Paiyoon noticed Suko had ignored her question. Again. They would need to talk about Femi at some point, but it didn't have to be today. A girl was yelling in the distance, her voice echoing throught the wonderland. Another newbie.
And then a boy walked up behind her. "Sorry to bother, but it seems that you have been here before or experienced something similar? Can you tell me whats going on Madam?"
She turned her head, looking at him. Paiyoon was still trapped(?) by Suko. Couldn't he see that she was rather in the middle of something more important? STUPID NEWBIES.
"Yo," she said flatly. "We're in Wonderland, and we're playing a murder game. Half of us are humans, half of us are Yokai. Alice over here, has laid down a bunch of rules on what our particular 'roles' can and cannot do. The object is to survive." Paiyoon sighed, it really wasn't his fault that he was new. "It gets crazy... there's a lot to remember. Hopefully, you'll get the hang of it before it's too late. And if you die, some of us... er... come back."
And then there was another one, a pink haired girl with a slightly familiar smile. And another girl, who semmed much more nervous. Paiyoon rolled her eyes. It seemed that she would need to be the voice of reason once more. And avoid getting stabbed by the new kids that were ever so innocent...
"Who're you people, by the way? My name's Emma, Emma Brown! It's great to meet you!"
And that was why pink hair looked familiar. "Emma Brown. So he was right... fate is punishing him. I was hoping his last death would finally be permanent... I guess it had unexpected consequences..." She finished her musings, still holding Suko. There was still a lot to learn about fate and the multiverse...
"Hello Emma, I'm Paiyoon. Paiyoon Ji. I knew you would be coming. You see, I played the last two games with a man I would probably call a 'friend' in the real world. His name was Artemis Wright. He... he spoke very highly of you."
Their group numbered five. Two veterans, two newbies, and one... one Emma.
One of them would probably kill her at some point.
One of them was already distracting her.
All in all, it was shaping up to be an interesting game.

"Artemis? He spoke highly of me? Oh, how sweet of him, I doubt anything he said is true, though."
She laughed, her smile sunny and bright.
"Oh, that fool, I'm surprised he managed to make friends without my help, he's so shy..."

"Hmm, let me think..." Paiyoon paused. "The topics of conversation between us were Emma, dying, Emma, death, reuniting with Emma after death, dying to see Emma, fate hating the two of you, Emma, the possibility that Emma would be here next round, and, oh, I suppose some general game stuff." She grinned good-naturedly.
"Yeah, he's definitely shy. I was one step short of waving a hand in his face to get him to talk to me round one... I hope you two find your way back to each other. But enough about that! It's great to meet you. What do you know about... the game?"
Paiyoon looked down out Suko. They hadn't moved. She fought to keep the blush from reappearing on her face with varying degrees of success. She silently dared someone to mention it... they'd soon see why she was feared around here.

She laughed lightly, grinning. She seemed very invested in the topic of Artemis.
“He’s so cute…”

Paiyoon Ji
Oh my goodness. Another person who ignored direct questions. At least Paiyoon had the decency to sidestep them. But perhaps she could cut Emma some slack. After all the multiverse appeared to be conspiring to keep her away from her "one true love," if one true loves existed.
And HOW WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO RESPOND TO THAT? "He's so cute." Should she agree, disagree? Artemis's potential attractiveness was completely lost on Paiyoon. She had never found anyone attractive. She still didn't.
"That sounds... refreshingly normal," she eventually settled on. "From what he's told me, you two have been together a while. What was it like in your world?"

Emma's grin dropped. She was serious, now.
"Instead of reminiscing, we should be focusing on doing the mafia stuff, huh?"
