Mei continued to glare at him, crossing her arms and raising her chin slightly as she watched his expression grow more and more unpleasant by the second. She couldn't help but to let out the giggle she had been holding in, doubling over slightly upon doing so before straightening herself back up. She stared right back at his pitch-black eyes and grinned before spewing whatever random BS that came to her mind.
"Awww, what's wrong tough guy? Got nothin' to say? Cat got your tongue?"
She paused for a moment to allow her devilish grin to grow, leaning in closer while tilting her head to the side slightly.
"Or are you too braindead to come up with anything, hmmm?"
She glanced down at his clenched fist, then looked back up at his scowl.
Or is your fist the only answer you can actually give?
She refrained from saying that, figuring it best to not mention getting physical or something. Her reasoning behind that? Idk, Daiko said so. Anyways, she opened her mouth to speak once again, this time moving her hands behind her back and turning her mischievous grin into a more "innocent" expression.
"Geez, am I reeeeeeaallly not worthy of your 'oh so precious' words? What a shame, what. a. shame! Maybe I would be shaking in my boots and running away in fear if you were mean enough!" Mei pouted, her face matching her exaggerated tone. She then giggled once again, straightening up her stance a little bit before speaking once again.
"Y'know... maybe a little..."
Oh wow. She actually did it. An uppercut, straight to the jaw. Not strong enough to break anything, but strong enough to at least hurt. Sure, it was a little sloppy due to her lack of experience, but it did the job. She kinda regretted it though, throwing the first punch (or any punch, really) was not her thing, but whatever. Not like it mattered, right?
"Boom! Should do the trick, eh? Get a little somethin' outta that stupid mouth of yours, right?" She giggled childishly as she returned her hand to its spot behind her back, making sure to at least be loose enough to prepare for retaliation or something. Sure, she should've backed away, since she

"You little rat." He hissed as pain exploded in his jaw. He clutched his jaw, cradling his face as a bruise started to blossom, turning his pale skin purple. "How dare you." Idris seethed.
His eyes were full of fury. Idris clenched his other fist and did the unthinkable.
For him, at least.
A quick, hard, sucker punch to the stomach.
He would've gone for something more painful but sadly he didn't have a knife on him.
Oooh, if he did, then the little purple-haired brat wouldn't be cackling right now.
"Boom! Should do the trick, eh? Get a little somethin' outta that stupid mouth of yours, right?"
He wanted to cut out her tongue and cast it into the sea. Idris wanted nothing more than to drop kick the runt into the sea, but he unfortunately wasn't strong enough for that.
His skin crawled. Idris really shouldn't have punched the girl. The thought of physical contact-

He spat on the floor next to her.
"Ready for round 2, rat?" He hissed. "Do you have a death wish? because I will not hesitate to cause you pain. I won't stop even if you're begging me to end your life. Your meaningless whines mean nothing to me, and I won't hesitate to kill you now."

"You little rat."
Mei giggled upon hearing those words, her smile so crooked and forcefully innocent that it was even more annoying to look at. Trying to act like a child about all this was fun, to say the least, even if it wasn't working.
"How dare you."
She gave a dramatic gasp and covered her mouth with a flat hand, accidentally letting out a few laughs while doing so. "I know, riiiiiiiighht?! How dare-"
And of course, to be expected, she got a punch in return. She knew it was coming, but lucky her, she got the full blow due to her carelessness.
Yeah, sure, it hurt like hell, shut her up momentarily right then and there, but she didn't really care as much as she should have. She clutched her stomach and gave a few strained laughs in between her coughs, backing away a little bit all while keeping her gaze on Idris's face. It was hard to suppress her pained expression, but her mad lavender eyes were hopefully enough of a cover-up compared to the rest of her face.
Even just for a moment, her free hand moved ever so slightly to the side of her pants, the movement so subtle it was barely noticeable. She stopped herself though, upon realizing that things were... different in this realm, and instead tried her best to stand up straight once again.
"Oh, so you can speak! For a moment there, I thought your head was too empty to use that mouth of yours!" She strained, shaking the hand she had punched Idris with as her more "innocent" appearance became more fit for the situation.
"Ready for round 2, rat?"
Mei shrugged and giggled once again, her eyes sparking with a strange intensity. Oh fun, guess he accepted her little "challenge". Her head tilted to the side once again, then she spoke a reply. "Awww, how cute! Callin' me somethin' as adorable as a rat, I'm flattered! Honestly I like the term scum more, but whateeeevvverrrr floats your boat!"
She couldn't hold her laughter at this point honestly, this was all too absurd and she wasn't taking any of it seriously
"Reaaaadyyyy when you are..." She yawned, somehow suddenly... Bored?
"Do you have a death wish? because I will not hesitate to cause you pain. I won't stop even if you're begging me to end your life. Your meaningless whines mean nothing to me, and I won't hesitate to kill you now."
She tilted her gaze downward as her head was leaned back, her grin slowly returning but her posture remained unchanged. She didn't even acknowledge the spit.
"Ooooohhh noooo! Shiver me timbers, I'm sooooo scared!" She said, slightly under her breath before cackling briefly. "Death wish? Hell yeah I do, bring it on you edgy anime villain wanna-be, see how much pain I can take, hm?"
Her expression darkened, but her smile still remained. "Begging is for pathetic, weak welps like you. Who said I was enough of a crybaby to whine and scream like a little b***h, huh? Go on, kill me, see if I care."
She let her hands fall to her sides as she lowered her head to stare at him dead in the eyes. Lavender against abyss.

'How fickle...'
Just saying a name, will cause immediate suspicion.. so he should avoid doing as such. Seemingly made up his mind, Elehah looked at Lucian and smiles.
"It's difficult just to say a name, isn't it? Afterall, we don't know anyone here. People that may be crying, and weeping about their situations, could be cruel. Those who are crazy, may actually be crazy."
As he said that, he looked at the others, most are gone exploring somewhere, but there are those still in a daze. In such place where everyone are strangers, it truly is hard to find trust.
"Thus, I think we should get to know eachother. Ofcourse! That doesn't mean I want you to trust me..." Elehah looked back at Lucian observing his expressions.
"I wouldn't trust myself either.."

"Artemis," she said quietly. "If you're an Ōmagatoki, you can kill me if you want. It is what it is, you know?" It was a strange statement, but Paiyoon meant it. Artemis has been through enough. If he had to kill someone, the least she could do was make his decision easier.

He wanted to trust this person, he really did. But there was something very off about him. He couldn't place his finger on it.
Was he feeling paranoid, because of their environment? Lucian took a deep breath.
That announcement... That wasn't good.
He had to choose a name.
He had to write someone's name down.
Condemning them to die.
He could be saving or dooming them all with this one move.
The question was... Which name to write down?
Lucian Arbred shook his head in dismay.
He wrote down Mei Akamatsu. He wasn't so sure if this was a good idea.
He had no idea who to choose, really. But he had to choose someone... Didn't he?
He just had to hope he'd made the right choice.

Mei simply shrugged the whole ordeal off, walking away to the podiums as she saw the light dimming around her. She was, understandably, quite disappointed at the lack of productivity today, instead wasting it all on that emo with so much edge and angst he could probably kill with how sharp that edge is alone.
Anyways, she waltzed her way over to the stands and looked around breifly, grinning at every individual she could lay her eyes upon. So... Wonder who the Youkai are, right? Must be nice to have some power in this realm.

He frowns, he didn't like having no control of his life, and putting it on hands of people he doesn't know.
He looked at Lucian, who was just about in the same state as he was. A seed of doubt grew in his mind, perhaps he shouldn't have talked to Lucian.
But it was too late for him to back out unfortunately, nor was he the type to when he has already begun.
After a few moments of awkward silence, with Elehah looking up upon the sky, contemplating, he looked at Lucian with a serious look upon his face.
"...Hey, what do you think we should do?" This was the most normal question anyone has asked probably.

Paiyoon knew she was GOOD.
Setsuna was likely GOOD since she received votes other than hers. (oops)
Idris was extremely suspicious... voting for Setsuna and retracting his vote. Idris was likely BAD.
Artemis also voted Setsuna, which was suspicious. But Paiyoon hesitated to vote him. She knew she was perhaps being marinated, but oh well. For now, he was GOOD.
Athena was an unknown wildcard. But Paiyoon believed her GOOD.
Lucian was suspicious... Perhaps BAD?
She also had no information on Elehah... also tentatively BAD.
Paiyoon wrote down a single name. Idris Kallikrates. Suspicious.

He turned to look at Elehah, and sighed. "...I guess all we can do is try to figure out who the other Yōkai are. So that we'll be permitted to leave. Poor Hanako..." He winced.
If only he could have done something...
"...we just have to figure this all out before it's too late. So, the question is... How do we determine who the other Yōkai are? We got lucky about Mei. But it's impossible to know if someone is guilty, or merely seems suspicious. I don't know how much we can gauge about everyone by talking but..." He paused.
"...it seems like the best option. Then we just vote and pray we're right."
He shook his head. This was all so awful. He had hardly spoken a word to any of these people, and yet it upset him deeply that some of them were dying. They had to figure this out quickly, before they were all picked off like flies...
Just who was the sadist doing this to them all? Lucian shook his head once again.
Motives. He had to think about motives. Did the Yōkai have any reason to target anyone specifically?
He frowned. Was there anything the victims had in common?
It would make the most sense that they would simply target whoever they thought they were least likely to get caught killing.
But the question was... how could it be determined?
It was just a game of chance when he thought about it. But he had to find the answer. He had to.
He approached Paiyoon. "...so... I guess Mei was a Yōkai. But I'm not sure who the others might be. Honestly, that was mostly a lucky guess." He chewed on a lock of his hair and sighed.
"...I hate this. I really just hope we can figure this out as soon as possible, so as few people die as possible. Do you have any ideas on who may be suspicious?"
It couldn't hurt to ask. However... Paiyoon might also be a Yōkai. If he observed her carefully, he may discover her possible guilt.
She... Seemed innocent, but just because someone didn't seem suspicious didn't mean they weren't guilty.
So... Who was really guilty, was the question? Who could he trust?
For all Lucian knew, Elehah may have approached him to make himself seem innocent. And he may in fact be a Yōkai.
But Lucian also didn't want to jump the gun on that one, because what if he was innocent?
It was all so... Troubling.
