I've received some cards that I'm not very comfortable with. Not because they're breaking the rules, but the anonymity means that people like to write confessions (?) which overstep the boundaries of what I'm comfortable with... I mean, I don't really want to see romantic confessions on a Pokemon site, and it's more prevalent during Valentines.

Can we get the option to delete Valentines cards? They don't store any items inside unlike Sky or Christmas Gifts inside either way. Plus it would be nice to be able to remove random cards that get a little spammy either way.

This would be helpful, but if Valentine’s Cards were able to be sent using Mod approval for the text, I.e. the Card is sent but the text in the Card has to be approved.

i agree with being able to delete them, that way we can remove it on our own terms if it makes us uncomfortable. especially if ph insists on having anonymous feature bc people can get too bold hiding behind anonymity.

the problem with all cards having to be mod approved is that's just more work for mods when meep's solution makes more sense

I think making the text in the card mod approval will be overwhelming cause there is a lot of people..
It will be tiring just to check every single one.

Maybe we can have friends only setting?
If the person has friends only, you can't put any text in the card you send to them.

Same with sky and Christmas gifts.

That way other people can still send cards/ gifts to them even if they are not on their friend list.

It will also save time from deleting every cards that has uncomfortable messages.

Maybe another suggestion is being able to disable them all together. A button where you can toggle on and off if you want to receive V cards or not. The person that would want to send a card would simply get a message where it says: "This user doesn't accept Valentine Cards."

A toggle to accept cards from all, from friend list, or not at all/A toggle to accept anonymous or not to prevent awkward cards that make someone uncomfortable
Obviously, I am in full support, this feature has no effect on gameplay and allows users to be more comfortable on the site

I've had this too, some send me a valentines card saying they had a crush on me, I didn't really like it but mostly just ignored it, still I'd like this to implemented so I can delete them to forget about it

I really like this idea.

Alternatively, the ability to turn off valentine card's messages would be appreciated (with both the user not being able to write them and you not being able to receive them).

I like this idea too. Some user just said they kinda love me, and I feel extremely uncomfortable with that.

support but what if it was just a feature to accept any valentine card, but disable anyone from putting any messages in them? like there would be a setting where you can choose if you want to get valentine cards with messages in them and blahblah

Full support, although just generally an ability to disable valentine cards would be nice. I haven't received one like this yet, but I know I don't want to.

I didn't include a suggestion to disable receiving cards since I figure it might be annoying for users to write a message just to realise the card won't go through

Some people mentioned getting annoyed at empty cards so an alternative one would be disabling notifications for new cards?
