Lucinda followed closely behind and shot some of the guards from behind Athena and scooped Taro up. She set him around her neck and made sure he was stable and won’t fall off

[Also, Kaori and Taro have this 'link' where they can sense each other if they are close/nearby/etc]

Kaori stood up, again. She was positive that she had felt Taro. Being the reckless person she isn't, she grabbed her katana and ran to the alley, where she saw Athena and Lucinda. . . and Taro?! She immediately ran over to Lucinda and took Taro off her shoulder. Finally, they were reunited! I'll never leave without you ever again she whispered in his ear as she put him on her shoulder.

Scratch what she said earlier. Kaori wasn't that smart after all. Some of the guards were returning to consciousness, they had to move. "Hate to break the happy reunion, but we've got to go."

Look- when a person is reunited with the most beautiful cat of their life, they will want to have a sappy and happy reunion

Kaori nodded. Sure it felt good to be in the Overworld again, but they were still dead. They weren't going anywhere alive.

"Come on, Lucinda! Open the portal!" Kaori said, as she sliced off a guard's head who tried to shoot her. She kicked is head into another guard. She threw her katana at another guard, slicing his right arm off. "Hurry!" she added, as Taro bit another guards ankle.

Felix ran towards where he thought he saw Taro went, he turned into an alleyway, he was right, but there were some girls and gaurds. Felix grabbed a guard by the neck until his neck was to cold to breathe air correctly and ran around the rest, "Wow seems you found who you were looking for, now about that portal you mentioned..." He looks over to Lucinda, "Would be mighty useful right now."
These guys are cool

"Come on, guys!" Kaori called out as she scooped up Taro. She ran towards the portal, and liberated any guards that came towards the portal. She tossed Taro through, and shoved Lucinda and Athena inside, as well as herself. On the other side, she watched the portal close, as she hugged Taro. Finally, they were reunited I think I already said this, but oh well..., and together again.

Aiden jumped in with the group as it closed and flinched, then realized that the part it closed on was his already missing arm, "Yeah your right just kinda tense." He looked at Taro, "Well I guess you found who you were looking for, glad I could help."

"Exactly how much you helped, I've got no idea. You could have led him to the guards in the first place." Athena was much more tired than she would ever admit, nothing like fighting guards and going through portals all day to make you want to flop on a comfortable mattress. But she would settle for the floor, that was all they got in the underworld anyways.

Kaori sat down next to Athena and hugged her "Thank you so much for sacrificing so much for me" she said, smiling. She was really happy, and grateful to have good friends that cared for her. She hugged Taro with one arm and Athena with the other, and Taro licked Athena's face you should be jealous- a cat kiss is amazing apparently, and rubbed his muzzle against her.

Kaori hugged Taro tightly. She was never going to leave him, or leave without him ever again. As Taro licked her face many times totally not to spite Mew that my RP character has more kisses XD, he pawed at the sticker on her arm, which Kaori had forgotten about. Taro looked at her worriedly, but she assured him "It was only a small thing" she said, stroking his fur. Taro purred, clearly not satisfied with her answer, but stretched out and fell aslepps.

Kaori looked up at Felix, Lucinda, and Athena. "Thank you all for helping me find Taro" she said, and hugged Taro again, as Taro slept comfortably on her lab. She went back to stroking his fur, and smiled. This was probably the happiest she had been in the 3 months she had been dead.
