Kaori slashed back another row of guards and jumped on Lucinda. Grabbing Athena's hand, they jumped into the portal, leaving the guards behind.

The portal closed behind them, they were definitely somewhere different, Lucinda then realised something, the minister escaped here, she was sure of that at least

Athena had held onto the gun, forgetting that you had to drop it. Miraculously, the gun was also somehow transported, and her arm was still intact. Though the gun wouldn't be much use anyways.

Putting it back into her pocket, she shielded her eyes from the suddenly intense sunlight. All those years in the gray murk of the Afterlife had made normal sunlight feel like someone was flashing light straight into her eyes.

“Now, Athena, I’m think me and Kaori are waiting for your thanks.” Lucinda said with a clear smirk. Then she froze, they had forgotten Taro, she turned into a cat quickly and curled around Kaori’s feet

"Not my fault you two decided to charge in." Now that all the adrenaline was wearing off, Athena realized just how much energy that had all took. She flopped down on the grass, feeling the sunlight on her skin. Actual fresh, sweet, green grass, warm sunlight, and blue sky.

Kaori had just began to panic when she felt Lucinda at her ankles. She began to calm down again and picked Lucinda the Cat up. They would have to either go back for Taro or keep Lucinda as the Taro.

Lucinda snuggled against Kaori and curled up. She said “we need a plan, I don’t know how but I think the Minister is here, and so is… Olivia. But we are ghosts in the world above, does that mean we are alive again?”

"That's to be tested" Kaori said. Looking at her surroundings, she saw a tall skyscraper, that reached higher than the clouds. Kaori immediately turned pale. This was New York City, United States. But it was also where she had died. She started to go back into her nervous habit, the one she had before she had died. She started twitching her fingers as the memories of her past life began to haunt her again.

Olivia walked through the portal, the Minister wasn’t anywhere in sight. She sighed, hopefully Athena and other ghosts could get into the overworld. She headed to one of the main streets in New York City

Kaori looked down. "I mean, most of us died a while ago, right? I'm sure that they won't recognize us." she said quietly. Her problem was different. She had only died a few months ago, and seeing New York again was nostalgic. Stroking Lucinda the Cat, she tried to remember all the roads and directions of the big city.

"Hopefully, we can find some sort of safe house. New York has plenty. I'm pretty sure that there was one by Main Street." Kaori said, mumbling a little. "I think I know where we are" she added, pointing to a sign that said 'Bomb Boulevard."

Olivia walked down the street, then she walked past three girls, and then she stopped and (did not turn around) walked backwards, like a rewind and turned to look at Lucinda, Athena and Kaori. She gasped and practically jumped into Lucinda, hugging her so hard they both fell over :3

Kaori jumped back in surprise. What is Olivia doing here? she thought as she backed away for the crazy #Ocinda moment. She backed away into a wall and turned around. There were so many 'alive people' and her head was dizzy from the recent battle, still from the sedative, and from the teleportation. She sat down, and tried not to focus and anything.
