The annual Eselinei trip to the mountains was coming up. One of the younglings wandered out of the mountainside villa they were staying in, and determined to save them Blanche bravely stepped out to find her young brother. She found the frost-bitten body of her young sibling and had only a second to mourn before she was impaled by a falling icicle.

Personality: Caleb doesn’t really socialize with anybody and tends to hang out by himself. He always acts like he’s all happy and feeling good inside, but he’s not, and suffers from depression. He also acts like he doesn’t want to hang around with others, but all he really wants is to have someone to talk to or just to have fun with. At first he may come off as rude to people, not wanting to be friends or hang out, but if you ever get to know him, he’s really nice.

Cause of Death: A school shooting in which his 17-year-old brother was the shooter and Bertholdt died from multiple gunshots whilst saving his class. He was the only one who died in his classroom.
Appearance: A slim boy who has brown hair and beige eyes he has three birthmarks lined up on his ear.
Personality: He is quite intelligent but is very shy and follows others rarely talking.

And no, the greensouls do not know they died yet (unless your character has a high level of intelligence, then they would piece together the 'tunnel' and the 'light at the end' which is what happens before they come to the world of Everlost)

Name: Luther Waters
Age: 15
Cause of Death: Luther truly views his death as an ironic one. He grew up in an upper-class family- and yet he ended up shot in a random mugging. Not even his own mugging. It's somewhat annoying.
Appearance/Description: A tall, lanky individual with skin the colour of light milk chocolate. He has wide, dark brown eyes. Bleached blonde hair dangles in waves around his shoulders, brown roots just beginning to sprout from his head. There's always the hint of a smile in his upturned lips- as if in any second he's prepared to flash his sharp white teeth and wrap someone in a hug. Angular facial features. Generally, he wears a grey t-shirt and olive cargo shorts. Gold helix piercing in both ears.
Personality: An optimistic, friendly presence who's always there, ready to support someone at a moment's notice... But truly, deep down, is nothing more than an insecure, self-manipulative mess. Luther hates the world, and others, for every single reason he can find- they're a bunch of foolish children, who he refuses to have any sort of contact with. He's nihilistic and smug, sometimes wishing he could just have died to avoid having to care for these people.
Deep down, his underlying instincts frustrate him to no end. The true reason why he tends to 'hate' people is because of how much he cares. 'Hatred' is a defense mechanism to combat his self-sacrificing nature and inability to rein in his sense of honour. Luther values pragmaticism and law and order above what he has inside- It's a far better concept to him than the chaoticness of connection.
Luther is logical, but highly emotional underneath it. Oftentimes, the two coalesce and confuse and anger him- he isn't sure where his emotions are focused at or what they even are. The hatred he forces himself to subconsciously feel often turns inward when he can't control his logic or internal brain. This sort of control is highly important to him, particularly self control. Controlling others tends to damage his admittedly fragile mental state, so he usually avoids direct manipulation. But he is very easy to manipulate into doing so.

(Pathologically lies about this, however, and pretends to be a Greensoul, because he doesn't want anyone to depend on him; the fact that most of the souls are younger than him is what he tells himself.
