Al-An raised his hands, all 8 of them, robotic ones included,
making a bigger Collum of fire. If he wanted to see the true power
of this orange thing, this was the only way to do it.
Lifeblood danced around with their new powers, electrocuting
butterflies.
Freyja continued watching, pretending to be disappointed. She
learned a lot of acting from Zoe, so she was pretty good at making
herself someone else.
DD was surprised as she held the crystal in her hands. Was she
worthy...? Even after all she had done?? She clutched the crystal.
She WAS worthy, Darling Desire was worthy of power, whether it was
for selfish reasons of selfless reasons. As she contemplated where
to put the crystal for safe keeping, the crystal answered that
question for her. By launching forward into her forehead. The pain
almost made DD scream, but she gritted her teeth to bear through
it. After a few moments, the pain stopped. She reached up and
rubbed her forehead, feeling the crystal in the center of it. Well,
now she couldn't misplace it.
She saw the others playing around with their new powers and decided
to follow suit. She raised her hand in an attempt to summon....
something... It worked. Rising in time with her hand was a field of
white hologram-esque images. They surrounded each of the other
individuals in the field yet none of them seemed to notice it. DD
was in awe as information filled her sight about details of each
individual. She forced herself to not grin darkly and lowered her
hand, despawning the field of information.
Kendo lowered the spikes, and casually walked over to Subjugation
and Rhulk. "Hello there, are you two not testing out the elemental
crystal you've been given?"
Freyja watched a man approach two figures, asking them about their
powers. The falcon hero pretended not to notice, not willing to
loose character. She needed to pretend she didn't get one.
Otherwise it would cause problems in the future.
"If only I was worthy." She muttered, still playing her character.
She even made sure to stare at those who were using their powers
with a look of jealousy
Eyes stared at the humans. "Those species?" the allay asked,
curious. "My queen has some of these scavengers as family! I wonder
how they are doing right now..."
The Allay, noticing Blink's presence, bowed at her. "The dragon
seems to be peaceful my queen, you're still at peace here."
Blinks didn't respond since she was half blind and couldn't see
it.
Eyes looked at Frostshadow's crystal. "Oooh you got shiny too!"
Freyja continued watching, playing her character and being careful
not to drop it. If she did there would be problems for her in the
future.
There were murmurs of conversation and Song BingLiu tipped his head
at the direction, not so subtly listening in. It seemed like
everyone in this odd place that was neither Elysium or any place he
knew of had received a gem of some sort, possibly what had been
embedded on Kujira's skull. He debated for a moment the best course
of action before giving up and asking the Surplice to lead him to
the group. If they freaked out over a giant floating skeleton of a
whale, well he guessed they could cross that bridge once they got
to it
"Hello there." He greeted them, bowing modestly. "I couldn't help
but overhear that you had received gems. I assume that everyone in
this odd place has gotten one as well? If that is the case, would
you mind telling me if there is one located on my Surplice here?"
The request was punctuated by the gentle petting of one of Kujira's
spinal bones as if anyone needed scarification on who he was
talking about.
"A shiny? Is that what these things are called?" Frostshadow asked
while wondering why there were so many scavengers here and what
kind of creatures Blinks and Eyes were.
Eyes looked at the crystal, describing what they look like to
Blinks. "It's like an amethyst! So shiny, but it's not purple.
Maybe it's mutated? That would be cool!"
Blinks listened to Eyes, seeing the faint outline of the Allay
around her.
