Torracat looks away. She wasn't sure why the vulpix was helping her, but she did need help. Just then, her stomach rumbled, and she flattened her ears in embarrassment.

As Wyrdeer left with Eclipse a boom echoed across the forest, Zarudes leapt over all the Pokemon, and headed towards the noise. The source, Team Flare blowing up parts of the Forest to make space for something. Bryony and Mable, Team Flare scientists, are watching as grunts do all the work with explosions. A Horde of Zarude came in Vine Whips and Night Slashes, Mable pulled out a Masterball, It was one from Kalos. As she threw it at the Zarudes it opened and fell, it had no effect.

“Appears that Pokeballs do not work here, including the Masterball. Go ahead with the Next Plan!” Grunts took out a large array of weapons and shot the horde of Rogue Monkey Pokemon, they all fell in moments. The missed shots went through into the forest, they all missed the group eating berries by a small distance, but 3 bullets hit Wyrdeer in the Back, Neck, and Head.

Wyrdeer fell down, it was bleeding intensely and moments away from death. Eclipse worriedly circled Wyrdeer. “Wyrdeer! No please, don’t go!” The Wyrdeer sighed “How ironic…” Eclipse looked at Wyrdeer in concern. “You escape an abusive trainer by hiding in the Mountains, just to be hunted by poachers, and then escape the forest just to be shot… Seems that life has decided that humans are the reason for my death and hasn’t appreciated my escape attempts… Little Eclipse, Please go, I wouldn’t want the same fate to befall you…”

Eclipse shook his head, he was tearing up “No! You mean too much just for me to leave!” He nudged Wyrdeer attempting to move it away. More Bullets flew through the trees, one of them missed Eclipse by an inch. Wyrdeer looked at Eclipse and closed his eyes one final time….

Eclipse waddled up to Wyrdeer and curled up, crying.

-Meanwhile-

A Fletchling entered the Bunker, it had a message and landed on Professor Crimson. “One moment you all!” he read through the letter and his face changed quickly. “It’s from the Mountains, Team Flare has been spotted heading to the Forest, soon after there were explosions…”

Jesus looked at his father “What do we do?” The Professor turned to his son “Don’t worry about this, I have a group of people who will handle it. Jesus once everyone gets their starter I want you to take them on a tour around the Plains, maybe do a simple mission as well. Got it?” He said handing his son a envelope.

He looked at Aname “You’ll have to direct the questions to my son, I’ll be back!” He said before running off

(In the lab, ANAME chooses Totodile to start him off in this region. He then hits send on a pre-written message on his Pokedex, telling Prof. Juville [his regions professor) and his team's leader of his progress)
ANAME: So what am I doing now? Where am I going?

Torracat perks up upon hearing the explosions and fights to stand up. It sounds very close by, but her legs were bent on giving out. She runs off into the direction that the vulpix went, but trips and lands next to a strange Eevee and a.. Wyrdeer?

noodle panics at the sound runs back to torracat, screaming her name.
"TORRRAAACAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTT!!!!!!!" noodle yells as she ducks under torracats tail. "w-w-what w-w-as that?" she whimpered, tails between her legs.

Torracat kicks the vulpix to make her stand up, and then gently nudges the Eevee. Without even thinking about it, Torracat grabs the Wyrdeer's collar and begins dragging the body to safety, hoping the Eevee would follow

As the explosions had gone off, Fiori had run off through the underbrush as fast as she could to try and get to the thicket before the humans could, not looking back, not even to look for any berries she could've dropped while running.

Torracat leads the group out to the edge of the forest near a spring that she used to visit. She sets Wyrdeer down gently and touches her nose to the Eevee's flank. "I'm sorry..."

ANAME: OK, great! Now... So where exactly am I going first? Also, where can I get Poke Balls? I have 500 Poke from my trip, so I can buy about, oh 5 Poke Balls? Or I can make some if you have apricorns... If that works in this region...

Torracat moved away to drink out of the pool, but the combination of hunger, poison, and exhaustion from dragging the Wyrdeer got the best of her, and she laid down beside the Eevee instead.

Large sensitive ears flat to her head, Madeleine followed the other Pokémon, wanting to scurry as far away from whatever those loud noises had been. She sat down nearby, her sweet scent toning down a little.

Emika accepted the Pokeballs gratefully. With the Cyndaquil by her side, she and the other trainers were almost ready to begin travel. Were they missing anything??
Eris looked up from her current work; ice spinning on ice to imitate a merry-go-round. Strange, something seemed off...but what??? She tensed... and sneezed. Rubbing her face, she shrugged off the feeling and continued carving.
