Fighting Style: He's an analytical kind of person who always steps off to the side and discerns his opponent's style and weaknesses. He's a bit more of a "thief" type, diving in to deal slight damage and then jumping back. His main attribute is his strange ability to make himself invisible, for nearly 10 seconds at a time. This enables him to make sneak attacks. But he isn't a very skilled fighter, with or without a weapon- and this often backfires on him and puts him in danger...

Personality: Adrik's a social butterfly kind of person who's all about making friends and having fun. He's socialable and easygoing, often teasing others and playing practical pranks and making jokes. Despite this, however, he's a rather insecure person, due to the bullying he experienced back in his hometown. He has a habit of "stalking" people, that tends to turn others off. He feels his motivations of better befriending people are innocent and this difference in feeling has made him rather distrustful of others. If anyone treats him kindly, however, this distrustful soul will be very clingy and desperate for attention. A rather sad person it would seem... though he seems quite happy to others.

Backstory: Adrik was born to an unnamed couple in a small town in Russia. He showed total ineptitude for shapeshifting at a young age, stuck in a single body, which disappointed his parents, who had both graduated from special schools and had prodigious talent from childhood on. They enrolled him in a well-known school in the hopes of mending this. Adrik failed from right-on, his grades plummeting with each shifting test. He aced most examinations that tested your mind, his determination to prove that he could be competent to his parents sending him on many studious spirals. However, tests that were based on any ability remotely magical were where he failed. Ds. Fs. Never could he get anything resembling a passing grade. And each time, his parents would shake their heads and he would spend the next night studying, trying desperately to prove he could learn. Soon enough, due to the constant studying, he ended up pale and sickly, sleep-deprived and mentally drained beyond compare. He was bullied at school for this, as well as his failures. One time, a boy was coming towards him, hand raised to punch Adrik- He closed his eyes, waiting for the blow- And then he heard shocked cries around him. He looked up. No one was looking directly at him. He lifted his hands and saw it, just then. He had turned invisible. Vanished. His ability had been unlocked, something truly unique that few shifters could accomplish. Soon, he could ace his tests in every area. His newfound skill impressed everybody. His parents, now divorced, did not care much, since they both had new lives and new children. Still, for the first time, Adrik was happy. But even with this, he could never make friends. As he grew older, his high grades and strange abilities seemed to drive others away from him. He resorted to stalking people to discover how to befriend them, and that merely earned him an even worse reputation and heightened the bullying. Lonely, he swore that one day he would become so famous that no one could possibly ignore him. When he was offered a chance to join The SS School for Shapeshifters, there was no hesitation. He packed his bags, waved goodbye to his mother, and flew across the world. And that is where Adrik's story begins. As a student at this latest school, ready to make a name for himself. Nothing, no one, will stop him from the love he's been deprived of during his life.

Fighting Style: Addison always tends to have a plan ahead of time for battle, and excels at using a number of weapons, namely: bows, swords, katanas, and knives. They try to manipulate their opponent through insults to provoke them and then attack. Addison has an almost flawless shield they tend to activate, but there is a fatal flaw about it. It often activates far too late, and Addison has been training for years to compensate.
Personality: Addison is a very, very serious and intelligent individual. They are quite aloof and introverted, rarely talking to other people unless perceived necessary. They care mostly for their studies, or for people who they have grown to care about. They tend to be a huge mood killer, and never to have any fun in their life. Honestly, Addison should probably learn to chill and have fun with life more often.
Backstory: Addison has remained consistent throughout their life, simply a rather logical and quiet individual. They've always been obsessively organized, and their parents could never understand why they were this way. Addison has always had a huge obsession over grades and over having a successful future. They never interacted much with other children, except for their twin sister, Madison. They do absolutely everything together, and yet are absolute polar opposites in personality. It took Addison a long time to realize that they did not feel comfortable identifying as male, or as female for that matter, until puberty. It just didn't feel quite right to them. So they did some research but never came out as non-binary to their parents out of fear of rejection. They did tell their twin sister Madison, who accidentally outed them to their parents. Now, their parents were very accepting, but Addison is still mad about the incident and has been even more gruff than usual with Madison since.

Fighting Style: Madison, or Maddy, does not have much of a fighting style at all. She literally just rushes in and works with whatever she has. Her plan is just "Going in, kicking butt, no plans!" She uses martial arts and shapeshifts into random animals as she sees fit, and has very little experience with many weapons. Her plans don't always work out, but it doesn't really bother her much. She also tends to use "Throw fire at everything" far too often.
Personality: A very cheery, bubbly sweetheart, always open to help those in need, Madison is her sibling's polar opposite. She's always looking to help others in everything she does, and she's very empathetic. However, she's extremely impulsive and naive, and she never fears anything as much as she should. It's honestly a miracle she hasn't gotten herself killed. She's a huge foodie as well... to a really bad degree. She's also an absolutely hopeless romantic.
Backstory: Madison was always a social butterfly, and she still is. She started questioning her gender right away from a young age, no, it wasn't really her traditionally feminine preferences, like wearing skirts, tights, headbands, and et cetera, or her love of romance. But something was just off, and her parents figured it out right away. She'd never even needed to come out to them, and she was one of the lucky ones who had parents who were aware of what being transgender was, and fully supportive. Madison had always felt comfortable with her name, though, so she kept it, and from a young age, she identified as female. Of course, she hardly knew what it was, but it just felt natural to her. She also felt there was something up with her sibling, who eventually did come out to her, but she accidentally outed them to their parents. There were no negative consequences, except a loss of trust between the two of them that Madison has desperately been trying to fix.

Appearance: At a glance, no one would believe that Haruto was capable of throwing a fully grown man across a room. He has the appearance of a delicate flower, pale supple skin, tall stature, and silky long hair tied up in a high pony tail being markers of grace and poise. He is quite thin, yet possesses muscles that can be mistaken as slender arms. He has fair features such as thin eyebrows and demure grey eyes, full lips and a teasing birthmark under his left eye. He certainly is a willow, bearing the likeness of a delicate flower that would bend over at the slightest sign of wind yet strong enough to weather the strongest of storms

Fighting Style: Haruto is as fluid as water yet as unyielding as rock. Very rarely will Haruto actually block, preferring to flow around the attack and strike back in retaliation. He will turn opponent's attacks back at them while using that time to try and find any weak point his opponent may have. He isn't afraid to fight dirty, using sharp joints and underhand tactics to ensure victory, all while being relentless in his defensive assault. He is also physically strong. Very very strong. He would be called a War God if titles were bestowed upon people, his prowess on the battle field both with bare hands and with a sword are unparalleled. He isn't as adept with long range weapons and modern contraptions which make him quite terrible with a gun, but he's a quick learner and can adapt easily to the situation. He would fit the archetype of the fragile speedster if not for the fact that he can act as a shield and absorb a lot of damage. Truly, he is a beast bred for war; a solid wall who will never yield unless broken.
Personality: They say that Haruto has only ever known one emotion and that is anger. While it isn't quite true, he experiences other emotions thank you very much, his resting i-will-murder-you-where-you-stand face does very little to dissuade the rumor. He is quick to action and slow to talking, preferring to converse with closed fists and sharp blades but also knows when to retreat. He may be a muscle-head jock but he is also quite smart when it comes to reading people's actions and intentions. He is capable of coming up with strategies but tends to go for brute force rather than diplomatic talks. Unsurprisingly, he is more street smart than book smart but does put a lot of emphasis on his studies
Backstory: Born from an unusual union between a creature of the night and the sea, Haruto was born as the heir of the matriarchal Liu clan. He inherited both his mother and father's quirks, born with the skin of a Daubenton's Bat and lived out much of his life in between worlds. He was treated as a young lord with members of both races falling over themselves in an effort to gain his favor yet he very rarely expressed any outward emotion other than disgust and apathy. This changed with the birth of his sister two years after his own and Haruto fell in love with the small Selkie baby. Though his sister was treated worse than he, for she wasn't considered within the line of succession, Haruto loved her with everything he had. He was the one who picked her new name and taught her the rules of being a woman, showing her the ins and outs of womanhood yet warning her that their parent would never see her like he did. In exchange, his sister taught him how to feel and look within himself, her steady presence aiding in helping him find himself. He longed to remove himself and his sister from the stifling aristocratic environment that they had been born into and entering the School for Shapeshifters would be the first step in that plan.

Appearance: Ollie is a short-statured person with dark blue, wavy hair that's often put in different styles. Their skin is dark brown with warm undertones. She has light green eyes that are constantly on alert, and smiling with her mouth. She has light, sweet-tempered features that are always in a state of happiness. Her outfits change constantly, sometimes Victorian themed, and othertimes a suit that one might wear to a wedding. There's no specific pattern to it, but it's never something ordinary, or whatever you might expect- that's just who Ollie is.

Fighting Style: Olive isn't the kind to start a fight. They'd always try and find another way around it... but if a person they cared about was in danger, they'd butt headfirst in, throwing their body weight everywhere and attacking close range with punches and kicks, and hitting from a distance with the strange blue blades they keep on them at all times if they recognized them as a great threat. They tend to try and grapple someone first, getting them up close and then sending them reeling back with brute force. Overall, it's not a very effective fighting style... but you can't really blame Olive. Despite the weapons they hold, they've never really been in a real fight before and they never really want to in any case... Granted, that's not a view you can come to this school with, but it's really just who they are. Olive simply doesn't want to hurt anyone, and with the kind of person they are, who can blame them?

Personality: Olive is a cheerful person, constantly in a state of hyperactivity and friendliness. There's not a person on this green Earth who they wouldn't think of as a friend- they're constantly on the move, looking for new people to hang out with or adopt. (They may or may not be obsessed with introverted people and caring for them-) That's why it's surprising when her mood drops at times- it's never anything that you'd expect to bother her. For such a happy person, she has quite a few triggers, and when one occurs, then she'll often drop into a state of depression and ignore anyone's attempts to cheer them up. This doesn't happen often, though, and usually they're just the same, cheerful person that they always are. Just remember this- even if Olive doesn't have words, then they'll always be there for you, always be your best friend, ready to support you at a moment's notice. Though irresponsible, they're an incredibly warm person, and just the kind who you'd want to get to know.

Backstory: Olive was born deaf and thus lost a lot of the chance that they could have had growing up, particularly academically. This never affected them negatively however, and they remained fairly social able despite this, especially since they partook in many sports, being fairly athletic. They were constantly on the move with their parents' shaky relationship and involvement in the military, but this never seemed to bother them.
