the item's expensive because it's only for one pokemon

kind of like how specialty items in stores cost more, because a fewer select people will buy it, much like everstones are a massively cheaper item because there's a large number of pokemon that use it

these things are supposed to be at least a little difficult to get though, goals to work towards on a site are fun, otherwise everyone would pop on for a few minutes, do their thing, then not come on the site for the rest of the time

plus it feels good when you can finally buy an expensive item you've been working towards for a long time :)

nothing on here takes too horribly long to obtain though, and even if it's something expensive like that prism scale in the shop, there's other things to do so it's not like getting stuck in one place and having to grind out levels in one boring spot until you can do anything else

there is a variety of things to do, the game here doesn't get held up by one single aspect

Either way, I still support this idea. Hatching eggs isn't too hard and yet there's the x2 and even the x3 multiplier days which allows me to hatch up to 20 eggs in one day, so it's not like we don't already have things that make certain aspects easier. :P And getting PD would be nowhere near that easy, even with the multiplier. As mentioned before, not every interaction gets you any PD, at all.

I think PD is easy enough to get
It's supposed to be a little bit difficult, to work towards a goal
*cough cough* I get 10k from rumbling, and if thst number would be doubled, that would make 20k, which would be too easy to get
There are enough ways to get sufficient PD
If we had x2 PD, it would crash the ecomomy

If x2 PD was for a whole 24 hours, thst would make PD too easy to get
But then at the same time, if it was just for 1 or 2 hours, it would be unfair for those who can't be on at that time because of timezones

I understand how desirable something like this may seem, but it would cause more harm than good. Here are some tips to get PD pretty easily:

1. Interact! Get the amulet coin from the Emera shop, sit down, watch a good movie/TV show and interact while you watch it
*Reminder: You can also get GC (Gold coins) which you can spend at the slot machine at the game center, if you're lucky you can win great and expensive items

2. Sell unwanted PD and items. Mystery boxes and keys sell for the highest, but I would recommend saving them and opening them in a bulk (when you have 50+ pairs) you could get very expensive items in them! But if you don't want to keep them then they sell for a lot.

3. Rumbling doesn't hurt, once you have all the explorer bags you can make a great sum of PD and mystery boxes/keys every few hours. Sometimes if you're lucky, you can get Star Pieces, which sells for a pretty decent amount of PD.

That's really it. When you're first starting, I would avoid buying pokes from the auction house and instead, hatch pokes from the lab. It's really easy to waste money there.
