"I don't really know..." Ari responded, "The whole thing seemed so sudden. Me, my Luxray friend over here, my trainer, and the rest of the team were on our way to a contest happening in the next town over when these Legendaries started attacking. Me, Luci, and Yuki were able to fight some of them off, but there were so many and some of them were much stronger than the three of us, so we were forced to retreat eventually."

"Hopefully we can stop them together, y'know?" Luci added, "And maybe we could help all those Legendaries!"

"Find shelter... find shelter... find shelter!" Willow groaned, limping towards a manhole cover. During one of her "grocery runs", a legendary Pokémon had ambushed her and, while she put of a well-enough fight with some of her partners, one of their psychic moves targeted Willow, crashing her into debris. Now she was groaning in pain, lacerations on her leg and with a bag of stuff, while Alexandra, her Tsareena, was supporting her, before they leaped in and, after an excruciatingly long path underground and with occasional resurfaces, they managed to get in touch with the main underground bunker.

It was right before then, when Willow sent out every team member, except the Tapu Koko. "Final stretch... please assist." With that, she falls onto the ground, her injuries becoming too much for her and her Pokémon now carrying her, the Infernape carrying her and Tsareena the bags of goods, while Galvantula and Toxapex were on the lookout for potential attacks and Mismagius removing obstructions and hazards, before they reached the healer's quarters, only pointing at their wounded trainer.

After that, most of her team went outside and waited, sighing and waiting. All of them had a clear expression of disappointment, as they were strong enough to deter the Legendary... but not enough to ensure Willow's safety. With that, Mika, the Infernape, started rallying up his teammates and the flame on his head intensifying. It was a rally to become stronger... and everyone agreed.

Riko had met Meng's gaze for a second, coolly and calmly. Patience...this won't be much longer. Before turning back to her little party. "Agreed. My plan is essentially to badger our trainers into going out together." She flexed her claws. "It's about time we got to the bottom of this, but those officials aren't gonna let any one of us out alone. The constant onslaught of Legendaries is causing them to go into lockdown." As she said this, the vaguely heard the the doors locking tightly behind Willow as she ran in.

Regan had caught up enough to catch wind of the conversation, Riko's side, anyway. "You know I can hear you, Riko." She muttered under her breath, awkwardly trying to maneuver her way around the increased population density of the room. Honestly, she wouldn't be opposed to banding together with others to leave if it meant some breathing room.

Meng almost wanted to snap back, fists itching to punch the arrogant Ninetals and pull on her tails but refrained from it when Amaris curled up closer to her side. Patience? What Patience. Meng was a fighter, bred and trained to stand strong in the face of combat and encounters that were sure to leave others shaken. She was, and still is, the crowning jewel in Amaris' hoard of competition trophies. She was the one who usurped hundreds of reigning champions with her fists, first as a lowly Bunnary then as a Loppuny before gaining unimaginable power once she held in her paws a stone that signified the deepest of bonds that she and her master shared. To hear a prissy uppity fox tell her what to do was not only offensive to Meng, who had sworn to only listen to one other being, but also a jab at how weak her master is. Amaris is not weak and Meng would always protect him from the world. She had failed once before but another incident of similar nature would never again happen if Meng could help it.

But, and here was the awful thing, Riko was right. Amaris had to go out. Amaris was a child of the moon, the stars, the galaxy. Not of the earth, the rocks, and the darkness. Amaris needed to go outside in order to thrive, the pale parlour of her skin and vacant eyes were enough proof. Even if there wasn't the threat of attacking hostiles, Amaris would have fought tooth to nail in order to bask in the night yet the grief of everything locked him away in this dark sanctuary. No matter how it was phrased, a cage would always stay a cage. And if it ended up doing others some good, well Meng wasn't going to complain at all

Mika, Willow's Infernape, has finished it's pep talk and with everyone's battle spirit up and running again, they looked at one another with newfound energy, unsure for what to do now. Knowing that now, they couldn't do much as long as their trainer was incapacitated in the room, they agreed to let the spirit rest for a while, with Volchne climbing up the walls onto the ceiling to make some room before they noticed: Amanda, the Mismagius was missing.

Unbeknownst to them though, she had only floated into the healer's room, watching her trainer and uttering to herself, already more upset than the others. Though it's not much she could do, except floating beneath Willow and putting it's witch's hat on her hand, as if she was being petted...

Lyra heads back to her room in the bunker, returning from the surface. Every day she goes up there, it seems more and more unreal. Why does this have to happen? She needs to get stronger. She needs to get her team ready for anything up there. She walks slowly, not realizing one of her pokemon has headed off on its own.
Her Lucario approaches the group of pokemon, watching them quietly. It did not need to ask, for it could sense the aura of the room. Though something must change if they want to go back to the old way of life. And the pokemon knew that.

Boltz was leaping around at this point, much to Riko's annoyance. "So...are we all in agreement?" He stared at the others intently. "We get our trainers to go outside together?" Boltz was a social Pokémon, so he really wasn't opposed at all to the idea of venturing out with complete strangers. Maybe even getting to know them as well. He loved the idea of making more new friends. Safe to say he was the opposite of Regan. He remembered his old trainer liked to meet new people. He loved parties, he loved his friends...and he loved his Pokémon.

Boltz missed him.

Grian was thinking about the legendaries while more people joined the group. Wait, wasn't there only one of every legendary(with a few exceptions) ? So why were there so many, and in this city? Why not Kalos or Alola or Kanto or any other town in any other region. There must be something special about this town. " Does anybody here know anything about this town that would make all the legendaries come here? It's strange that they all just appeared here, not all over the world." .
Wait. There was something off about all these legendaries. But what was it....
Why do people keep saying I look like a mincinno?

"It is strange. But we do not know if the trickster can bring more legendaries here. It might be able to grow its army." The lucario finally says. "If it means a stronger chance of winning then I agree, we should get our trainers together."

"None of you know the art of war, do you?" Out from a poorly-illuminated corner came Alexandra, Willow's Tsareena, fixing it's necklace of Leftovers while having a stern look in her eyes. "You should know that those Pokémon out there... are not real. They are mere creations, phonies, if you may. Therefore... we cannot know what powers they wield, what strengths they're capable of. Which is why... we have to hold down this fort and observe them." She muttered, not even caring if someone didn't understand her. This opinion of hers, she had harbored for a long time.

"Observation will only get us so far. If we test theories in weaknesses then we can learn much about the illusions true strength." Lucario says calmly, watching the Tsareena. "I'm not suggesting we do something rash though, movements like those could cause our trainers to be killed. We need to be careful."

Riko's golden head lifted indignantly. "Do you dare say are trainers are not intelligent enough to know that?" She spat, her tails flicking in annoyance at the tsareena's arrogant words. She glared for a few seconds before smoothing her fur and calming down, gathering her patience, as she'd often had to do. Her voice was cool as she spoke again. "Of course the legendaries are illusions, or at the very least, fakes. But, from the few we've managed to rescue, they seem to be real creatures. Something Hoopa is using as puppets." Her scarlet eyes met Alexandra's for a second. "You seem like a strong, itelligent Pokémon yourself, surely you wouldn't doubt your strength and wit against a legendary?" She didn't wait for an answer. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I, for one, am sick and tired of fearing for my life whenever I go outside. I dislike it even more when I'm told I can't. I must say I am intrigued by this mystery." She looked meaningfully at the others. "I, and I know my trainer does as well, want to get to the bottom of this." She looked back at Regan confidently, knowing she'd hear. "There's more to this story. I sense strength in all of you. But we can't do this alone. We need to band together."

Alexandra was a little annoyed at Riko, then stepping closer and throwing her green "hair" back. "Then count me in. I bet with our combined efforts, we can at least get something out of this chaos. Now... what do we know about the legendaries so far? All I know is that they are doing everything when it comes to destruction and chaos but... hmmm, they might be putting their intellect aside. I recall someone being inhibited or restrained by my sheer presence. What about you, do you know anything?"

"I do not wish to imply our trainers are weak and foolish. I only mean it as we should be careful. I am willing to help push my trainer to whatever the group needs. My trainer already wishes to get closer to these illusions to find out more about them, but unfortunately we have found little information outside of their destructive personality." Lucario says with a sigh

"Count us in," Ari said, "And while I haven't figured out about whether or not these legendaries are merely illusions or if they're fakes that were created to be as strong as the real thing, but one thing me and the others have noticed is that no matter how badly they get hurt, they seem to shrug it off and keep fighting like it's nothing..."

And at that moment, Luci had run back over to where Riye was, to try and get Yuki to join the discussion. Yuki's a Legendary, right? Maybe they have a few things to say regarding the nature of these other legendaries???

Lyric had lifted her head, just to get a look at their surroundings. She hadn't eaten in.... they didn't even remember at this point. The white dragon had gotten up and hobbled out the door, searching for something to eat. Eventually, she'd spotted some berries sitting in the window of a market that had closed after the attacks had started becoming a big problem. After fumbling with the door for a minute, they entered the building and had eaten some of the Oran Berries that were on display. She felt refreshed after eating the berries, and had gone over to eat some of the Sitrus Berries there as well.

"I do have an idea... Targe, you there?" Alexandra called, as from the ceiling falls a Toxapex, lifting two of it's limbs to look at everyone, before turning to the Tsareena. "Targe here is a tanky Pokémon and endured several hits before. Maybe he can go on a small expedition with one of you, to gather data."

Meng reluctantly raised a paw. "I'm the fastest member of my family. I know how to get in and out quickly without getting noticed." She offered, though her voice was bitter. It was clear to anyone that Meng didn't want to get too involved in such matters, not without her master's consent beforehand, but this group didn't seem to be deterred in the slightest. If she couldn't stop them, then the next best option would be to keep them as safe as possible. She was also itching to get moving again, the time spent cramped in bunkers and underground tunnels making her antsy and agitated. She hid it well though, letting her master sooth her with regular grooming and exercise, but to breath fresh air again would be a sorely needed treat.

Riko lifted her paw, unsheathing her claws and admiring them for just a moment. "If the plan is to go out as a small band...well, it wasn't my original idea, but I suppose it makes sense." Nipping her claws for a second, she put her paw down. "Of all the members of My team, Kara and I would be the best at slinking around without getting caught. Since I seem to be the only party member out right this moment, and not without a bit of type coverage, I can contribute. If that's okay with master of course." She glanced briefly at Regan and made eye contact. She knew her master wouldn't decline, she knew they felt the same way.

"Sneakiness will help you out, but only if you're undetected. When you're caught out, you're dead. And we might be dealing with beings that have more senses than we have in this room. So I do have an idea." Alexandra looks around and gets a hold of Willow's bag, pulling out a Shell Bell. "Ring this, when you are in distress. We'll create a diversion and get some pressure off you."

An irritated expression contorted Riko's face. "Arrogant of you to assume I need your help." The orange tips of her tail began to burn, letting off an eerie glow. "I can fight for myself, mind you!" She turned her nose sharply away for a second, as if in rejection. "Besides," Her tone shifted again to the cooler one "wasn't the idea to work as a team, anyway? You seem to be preparing to split up." She narrowed her eyes. "Perhaps we should discuss our plan more thoroughly, first."
