Lin noticed Myrcine hesitate slightly before answering. She mentally cursed herself. "I'm sorry for my angry demeanour, I don't mean to look like that," Lin said quickly. "You can ask me anything you want, I don't mind." she paused. "Want to take a walk?" Lin asked, nervous that she would say no. Lin needed a friend, and some company. Lin stroked Fog idly, his silver gills flapping in the soft breeze. Her tail swayed side to side and she looked down, embarrassed. "It's ok if you don't want to..." she muttered.

Sukuna just gave a small chuckle, raising the finger puppet and tilting it a little to her speech. "She's a terrific doctor! Once, she managed to sew two people together and then seperate them again without any problems! Well, stitching is important for surgeons! But she will tell you as much about her as you did about you! So none! Nyhehe!" Sukuna was a good doctor... but her ventriloquism left something to be desired. Nevertheless, she made a few ghostly noises before vanishing in a pocket of hers. "Potions and brews are another specialty of mine. Although one about ghosts... uuuughhh, I'd be delighted to learn that! They would do wonders when operating!"

Lin waited for Mycrine's response, worried that she'd done something wrong. She panicked, Fog sensed her emotions and started flying around everywhere, going hyper. "Stop that Fog," Lin muttered. She fluttered her wings and took a deep sigh and started playing fetch with the cloud-axolotl.

Constantly looking back and forth between Lin and Darian in order to make a conclusion, she took a deep breath and mustered her courage. "I'm terribly sorry but me and Darian have to go to the jobs center!" Even though she didn't want to reject Lin's request, she couldn't help Darian go to the jobs center and go on a walk with Lin. "I'm completely free afterwards though!Still sorry!!" she bowed a bit to apologise and moved a bit closer to Darian's side. She felt pretty bad and it definitely wasn't a proper way to start off their relationship but there was always room for improvement, given they just met.

"Oh, ok." Lin said, kind of upset. "I was just about to go there again..." she said. *But it seems you don't want me to to go with you,* Lin thought. "Have....have a nice day.." Lin said and walked away, overcome with sadness. After walking for a bit, Lin finally arrived at her house in Griffon Alley. "LEO!" she called out. "Have you eaten today?" she asked. "If you don't like my cooking, feel free to suggest a recipe, I can cook loads with fish?" she asked. Lin went downstairs and prepared lunch, some sushi which reminded her of the ones her family used to make. She set it down on the table, grabbed a few for herself and set off for the Job Centre, hoping to grab the job she needed. "I made you some sushi!" she called out to Leo as she went out of the house. "Hope you enjoy it!".

Darian's attention was caught by a strange sound not too far from where the two stood, leading him to walk over to check it out. It was another inmate, who went by Lin, and the sound came from a sharp piece of copper striking a lamppost. Myrcine was the first to interact with her, which he didn't mind. He preferred staying back and observing anyways. Lin seemed quite aggravated, and he felt it was best not to say anything anyways. After Myrcine finished and said goodbye, he waved and turned way. Lin's last words uneased him a little, making him feel a bit guilty even, but it wasn't exactly his business.

"Ah Darian! Shall we?" She took out the map and opened it. "Come, this should be the right direction." she said as she started slowly slithering, her eyes stuck on the map. "Do you know what kind of jobs there are? Do you have one you already like or you'll just pick one on the spot?"

revron just sat there in that house for a couple hours, not knowing when this 'spouse' will come. 'dang' he thought. 'this is lamer than being stood up on a date'.
he picks himself up and heads outside, remembering the wise words of the pussycat dolls: I don't need a man
well maybe it was a woman, or other. whatever . he doesn't need to know the details.
''they chuck me in here and don't even get me my roommate. what is this establishment." he says out loud as he looks around for a. guard? manager? anything??

With no bird men anywhere to be found, Leo had returned to their house (after some expected confusion about which road they lived on) and approached something he'd seen Lin open countless times; the fridge. Fridges weren't necessary on his home planet as everything they ate was either raw or lasted a while. His head was awkwardly higher than the fridge's roof, but he'd make do; he brought himself into a crouch and carefully wrapped his hand around the cool, metal beam. Slowly, almost timidly, he tugged on the door and was quite surprised as cool air danced across his face and into the Summer breeze. He reached for a transparent bottle filled with a bubbling brown liquid that was somewhat mesmerising and reminded him of home.
Of course, he'd struggled to remove the lid, but with enough brute force it had broken off, along with a few haggard shards of glass. The red label had said 'Coke', but unfortunately Leo couldn't read English so hadn't a clue what this was. He raised it to his lips, careful to avoid the great spikes of glass, and took a rather large swig. This was a terrible idea. As soon as the too sweet, fizzy liquid reached his tongue it was over the floor and fridge, making quite a mess of the once pristine kitchen. Not only did he spit out the contents but also dropped the bottle, resulting in a kitchen nigh on impossible to traverse.
And then, joy of joys, Lin had arrived. Leo had stayed silent as she strolled past, shouting his name and somehow making him jump. He had not eaten, he realised, and though he didn't dislike her cooking the prospect of fish left him staring after her with a sort of craving. Fish, on his home planet, was a holy food, one to be shared by all and cherished by way of consumption. It was supposed to be eaten at least once daily, and he hadn't had any yesterday so was technically breaking his own religion, but what did it matter. This idiotic planet hadn't allowed him any time to find a proper salmon and prepare it as he'd seen his mother do countless times.
As Lin was hopefully making something with fish, Leo attempted to tidy the mess he'd made of the kitchen. He started with his hands, which only led to multiple cuts and scars accompanied by a lot of wincing, then found what he presumed was for cleaning and tried using that instead. He removed several fragments of glass but only spread the coke further, yet somehow avoided getting any of the spillage on his clothes. Perhaps water would help- no, now the floor is slippery. A cloth!- cut by the remaining glass. After trying several more pathetic attempts at housework he'd managed to partially clear the mess, but the wreckage was still evident by the brown splats on the floor and fridge, if not the scars covering his hands.
Once again hiding from Lin as she passed, Leo hurried downstairs at the mention of sushi. This meal was common at home, served to people of all classes and ages. His home world had people that spent their life researching and creating sushi, sending their masterpieces into the world to be enjoyed by all. So, admittedly, his spouse's weren't quite as good as the seafood at home, but they would suffice.

Lin doubled back to the house, she didn't want to get a job yet. Walking back home, she sighed sadly. Lin hadn't talked to her
"spouse" much and she wanted company. It didn't matter. Maybe Leo didn't want to talk to her. She plastered a fake smile on her face and entered the household, spotting Leo. "Hello Leo," she said, pretending to be happy. "Did you enjoy the sushi?" She looked at his empty plate. After a moment of pause, she went to pour herself some coffee. "Coffee?" she asked politely, holding up the steaming cup. Fog looked hungry. Lin fed him some sushi and he cackled happily. "Who's a good little axolotl?" she whispered to him whilst stroking his head. Fog jumped up and started flying around, poking Lin's and Leo's heads. Lin laughed.

"This is it, Geira!!!" The young wolf thinks as she storms up to the imp with no other sense of direction than her trusty ol' nose.
She looks up at Xeraphina once she finally reaches her. She's not sure how she exactly... wanted this to play out. Humanoid creatures would, after the rumors, instantly hug any wolf in feral form. Geira's not very... entertained by that thought. Being surrounded by someone completely... That can only lead up to ye old tales of betrayal.

So, she does as any reasonal dog would do.
Nods approvingly at Xeraphina, drops the food at her feet, and walks away. She should get going to that job soon, anyways.

As soon as she's out of view, she transforms again. It's not like there's any... shame in transforming, but it's weird to explain. Kinda weird to look at as well.
She adjusts her bow, allows herself to smile just a little bit, and heads for the door. Which still has the wound of a Xeraphina Kick. They should probably get that checked out. Where do you get stuff like that checked out?

Wy just finishes guiding another prisoner through the necessary walkthrough of the place when he spots a familiar little fae boy. What was his name... Revry? Revron? Something like that.
"No luck finding your partner?" He asks him, hoping so sincerely that he wouldn't like... attack him or something. Fae can be fierce people.

Now that she brought it up, he wasn't sure on what he wanted to do. He didn't want to work at all, really, but he had to do something. "I don't have the slightest idea," was his reply. He continued to follow and look towards the more crowded area, like the center of gravity to all the inmates. "Guess I should ask you the same thing."

The entire time, Xeraphina’s mouth hung open in an ‘o’. If her eyes were on show, her shocked horror would be incredibly obvious. A wolf just strode info the room, dropped raw meat, and then walked out. What. The. Hell. She couldn’t move her body at all, her eyes fixed on the meat. Was that Geira? She discovered that her mouth was painfully dry. She gulped and managed to process a single thought. WHY. The word was only audible in her head, but it felt so loud that she was sure everyone in this prison whatever could hear it to.

She stood up and looked at the meat, teeth clenched in disgust. She bent down to pick it up and carried it to the kitchen, laying it on the counter and the washing her hands. Why on earth had that wolf even decided to do that? If any culture wasn’t from her world, it didn’t make sense. She opened the fridge and grabbed a ready-made lasagna meal and tossed it in the microwave, feeling lightheaded. She wasn’t angry, she wasn’t sad, just very, very confused. That horrified expression had only just left her face when the microwave started to beep.

Scratching the back of her head, she shrugged. "Truth be told,I don't even know what options there are... I've only heard of 'Differencing Bottles of Poison from Witch Medicine' from that god-awful harp player." With a couple quick looks between the map and their surrounding area,it would appear they didn't have much more distance to cover. "Ah! We're almost there! I can already hear the mass of the inmates already gathered there." Whether there were jobs exclusive to females and males respectively was something that troubled Myrcine a bit,but she knew there would be at least one job that would suit her.

(I've created a new character called Fog, Lin's pet is going to be renamed to Smog)

Fog woke up in a bright room surrounded by lots of strange people. His curiosity hit the roof, he bounced around on his feet and peered at everyone closely. He'd never seen such strange people before! He ran around quickly, his lizard-like tail swaying frantically. Fog's attention was caught by a peculiar looking wyvern. Fog practically ran up to him. In a wave of excitement, he started saying, "Hi! Hello, hello..er...where am I exactly?" "Why am I here?" "What am I doing here?" He started to dance around in excitement. His gills swayed happily and he continued to peer around.

June's eyes sparkled with amusement as Sukuna acted out her story with the little puppet. So she was right about Sukuna's occupation. At the last remark - completely fair, by the way - June laughed internally. "Nothing" wasn't exactly what she'd describe Sukuna's words to be. Her partner had just given her loads of information; now she had confirmed Sukuna's surgical prowess, added with the fact that she was extremely comfortable with performing complex and tasks that were...well, morally ambiguous at best. She wasn't sure where experimentation like that fit within the ethics of medicine...but something about her silence on the matter made her think Sukuna might have been toeing a line.

June gasped. "POTIONS?! WAIT, ARE YOU, LIKE, A WITCH? IN A GOOD WAY I MEAN!" She'd always been obsessed with the stories of cool witches when she was young, like the one named Azura who had a wicked staff and knew lots of spells and magic - potions included! "Either way, I'd love to help with your research, but I'm afraid I don't know much about that sort of thing myself...I was an engineer, so I'm on the other side of the STEM stuff."

"You're a mechanic? An engineer of sorts? Doesn't that sound enticing, you're just the mechanical version of me!" Sukuna laughs, tapping a little with a needle of hers while being overwhelmed with June's outburst, trying to keep her balance. "N-Not a witch in the literal manner but... my healing capabilities were described as sorcery by some other doctors~" She sticks her tongue out, winking before looking outside. "You wanna go out for a little walk?"

Poison and medicine, which in all honesty he had no interest in, seemed to prove his theory correct. To his knowledge, it didn't sound like a common job, but instead was almost like community service. Guess that was the point... He stepped closer and looked at the options, two of them catching his eye. Making Wing-Equipment and Helping Lost Prisoners. Those were... fine to say the least. The latter looked quite interesting, especially due to the little note about being able to handle aggression, while the other option was something he had some experience with. It wasn't great, but he wasn't complaining.

Lin walked to the Job Centre and peered at the list of jobs. "What do ya think Smog? Should I do wingmaking?" Smog nodded.
"Ok then!" Lin looked around one more time and set of for the are where she had to make wings. She noticed a boy who resembled Smog and walked up to him. "Hello..." she started. "Are you a Kuraudosupiritto?" Lin peered at him closely. "Have you been assigned a spouse and home yet or are you new?" she asked.

Fog was taken aback by the girl's sharp attitude. "W-why yes I am a Kuraudosupiritto!" he laughed nervously, "and, w-what do you mean by "spouses"? I haven't been assigned one or a house." He paused. "Who do I ask?" Fog's energetic attitude slowly crumbled when approached by this fearsome yet stunningly beautiful girl. "My name is Fog, what's yours?" he asked timidly. Fog spotted Smog. He gasped. "OH MY GODS THAT IS THE SINGLE MOST ADORABLE THING I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!" FPog ran around Smog, absolutely obsessed with it's cuteness. He stopped, "C-can I h-hold it?" he asked quietly. Lin nodded and he picked up Smog, whirling it around in the air and tickling it. He handed Smog back to Lin with a smile on his beaming face. "It was nice to meet you! I should get back to finding who my spouse is!" he waved and went away to the Wyvern and asked "Who is my spouse and where am I supposed to live?"
