Royal Academy: Mages And Knights
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Royal Academy: Mages And Knights"Welcome to the Academy, future Knights and Mages! Ready your shoulder to bear the nation." Sparmi's voice rang through the field as the new students gathered in front of the northern shrine. The huge campus radiated a welcoming atmosphere, as the instructors, professors, lecturers and the principal stood with mostly smiling faces.
"Making us climb all that just to get to the ceremony, the academy sure is tough on us." Tien was panting. The ceremony shrine was farthest from the academy entrance, and was atop a hill. "Are you sure you want to be knight when you're like this?" Prince Samton retorted with a slight chuckle. They then turned their attention to the Principal.
The principal, Sparmi, was going on with his speech. He warned the students to be extremely careful in all aspects.
"Do not play with fire. Figuratively, or literally."
A few scattered chuckles were the response from the new students. Dressed in their uniforms, full whites for knights and blue robes for wizards, the students were all gathered in a single group. The fact that the prince, the nobility, the commoners and even the serfs stood together was proof of the ideals of the academy.
"Besides, once you are in the army you will have to march distances much greater. Flying would be prohibited then, after all." Samton, saying this, turned to the person speaking. The lady seemed to be around 15, although her looks around said much younger. "Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Samton Goldenbach."
"And I am Tien Sebas. Glad to meet you, er..."
She fell over on the ground after the slip and retorted with getting herself back up and trying again. Cherail's attempts later ended in success as she finished at the top, her robes muddy and her angry frown curved to the brim. She wiped up the mud off her purplish-blue robes and returned to her neutral expression.

"hmmm" he then rememberedhe forgot his mask "oh no i left it back it at home" somehow he wasn't exhausted instead he used some self magic to strengthen himself whenever he got tired but he was still tired
he was waiting for the ceremony to end so he could go and feed his sparrow jack
Turning to the new voice, Samton took a long breath. "Greetings to you too! I believe you are Tomoe Hiyori? I have met you before, I believe. It is a pleasure to see you here." Samton nodded once in greeting, before turning to Kayeru again. "What you say is indeed true. There's no need to sweat the formalities here."
It was a principle unique to the academy alone, at the very least in theory.
In reality the children of nobility were still carrying out the everlasting power struggle here, forming factions and the like. Were his brother also studying here it would have been to no doubt that those like Tomoe would never give him a second thought. This disgusted him to a degree, but it also allowed him to be more open to forming relations with those who have no such wish.
'Rather aggressive, huh? She might become a valuable ally.'
Tien however, did not seem to share the same feelings. His brows furrowed as he gazed up and down the new lady. Her family reputation was not the best, and her appearance did not help her very much, either. Samton, seeing this, used some very weak earth magic to throw a stone at his feet without anyone noticing, as if to say "you're breaking character". Tien immediately turned, as if to pretend to be listening to Sparmi attentively.
Gore-ish post, don’t read if you can’t handle
“Oh I’m sure some of you have your opinions of me already. Well, all I can say it that you’re not entirely wrong.” She chuckles, stabbing a pen-knife like object into a unidentified heart. “I mean, we do sell organs of all kinds. It’s legal though, I’ve checked.” Blood splatters all over her clothing, and onto the floor as well. She curses in some other language, mumbling out an apology before wiping her face, effectively smearing the blood all over herself. “You guys found climbing the mountain hard?” She asks, like nothing wrong is going on. she wipes up most of the blood not on her, then proceeds to dissect the heart.
'Hmm~'
Aoife brushes away the several stray strands of blonde whisps from her face, with a hum of satisfaction, allowing herself a clearer view of the scenery below. Had it not been for the fact that it had been about ten years since she had last done an exercise like this, Aofie would likely have found this sudden trial a tad easier than she had. Nonetheless, she had completed it in her first attempt, a lingering soreness in her upper arms, shoulders and fingers from gripping as hard as she had done, a reminder of her efforts. But now at the shrine, she could allow them to relax, if only for a second, as she listened closely to the principal's speech.
