Mare had spotted something interesting looking within the cornucopia. It looked like a pair of mechanical gloves. They appeared to be black, with some orange and red plumes. Immediately, Mare knew those were for her. She races to them, dodge and weaving her way through fighting tributes. She grabs the gauntlets and as soon as they touch her hands they begin to hum. Mare snaps them on and instinctively ducks. An NPC tribute with a bow, had set their eyes on her. Mare looked down, grabbed a silvery colored backpack and dodged another arrow. She takes a deep breath. With supernatural speed, Mare launches herself at the attacker. The attacker gasps, narrowing there eyes. Mare stares at this person for a second. "I'm truly sorry for what I have to do. But maybe you can be bright back." Mare says aloud. Now the person looks confused. Mare takes another deep breath. She launches her first attack. Right to the head. The attacker collapses. Mare gasps. "That shouldn't have knocked them out!" she knelt down and felt there pulse. "Oh my god. I killed them!" she murmurs. These gauntlet's were quite a bit stronger then the ones she's used in the past. Mare closes her eyes, and stands up. She opens her eyes and heads for the Taiga Bay section.

Suvansh sweeped round the desert, and when he he realised no one but him and the dead tribute came here, he went back towards the cornucopia. He had thought that everyone must've taken stuff and left by now, but to his surprise, a few people were still there, probably came late. He spots Mare, fighting with another tribute with a bow and arrows. He thought of helping her, but was shocked when he knocked him out...or wait no, killed him, in a single punch. Huh? Those gloves must be made of steel. He sees Mare head towards the Taiga bay, and decides to dive down and collect the bow from the now dead tribute, as it was the last one near the cornucopia. Luckily, he didn't have to take the arrows from the deadbody too, as there was a fresh quiver full nearby. He grabbed em on, and Tom another bag of supplies, and flew behind Mare.

Echo turned back to Corncoupia, and grabbed several more supply bags and weapons. To be honest, she was extremely surprised to see that there were still stuff left. She went back to the ocean, following Ellie’s group once more. She inclined her head, upon seeing Mare and Suvansh, as a form of greeting, but otherwise continued, never looking back, except to check for enemies

Mare was surprisingly fast. She examined the contents of the silver bag she took as she ran. "Fleece blanket, leather jacket, rope, a flint and steel, and some uncooked rabbit. Mare sighed. She decided instead that she would head for the Tundra. She stuck the stuff back in the bag and slung the bag over her shoulder.

Suvansh raised an eyebrow at the weird greeting style, but Echo never stayed to see. He shrugged and continued off, blasting at random tributes here and there. He gasped when he saw a grenade landing directly on a pokemon of Ellie, but he noticed, it was a scorbunny, a fire type, and should be mostly fine. He flew around before Ellie could see what did that, not wanting to be on the bad side of someone with a Gigantic Eevee. He mostly sticker around Mare, without her noticing, or so he thought, but sometimes wavered around, so as to annoy some people.

Mare never looked back. She kept pushing forward, kept heading to her destination. She was sure she was far away from any tribute, but was sure she was being watched. She ducked behind a tree, so she was out of site and waited. She wanted to see who was following her.

Echo sighed, before dashing towards the bomb, and deactivating it. With nimble fingers, she dismantled it. Oh, how many times had she done this? Her previous assassin training kept her alert, as she pocketed the bomb parts, intending to look at it later.

Suvansh saw Mare duck behind the tree, and decided to keep moving, but then he heard the sound of a chopper like thing coming towards him. He looked behind, and noticed a rather small drone flying towards him. Seeing this, he decides to land down. He had heard, people could get some deliveries in the arena, via drones, using the trackers they have installed. When the drone lands beside him, he takes what was in there, a small note, and, he gasped, an elytra. His dad's elytra. It was one of his most prized possessions. Why would he send it over to him- He reads the note attached.
"Continue to make us proud, and stay safe". His eyes start watering, at the reminder that his parents were waiting for him, and probably actually even watching him right now, through one of the camera drones flying around. He equips the elytra, and decides to give it a go. He takes up altitude via Flare, and then jumps off. His heart stops. He had done it before, he had practiced high dives, and how to land unharmed. But this was different. He was to fly. He willed his elytra wings to flap open, and so they do. When he thought his face was about to squash into the ground, he started to glide. He willed the air to push him forward, and he started accelerating forward (kind of like using a firework rocket). His heart leaped with joy, as he lost focus and went crashing into a tree. The same tree where Mare was hiding under. Flare catches his masters distress and comes flying to his aid, but Suvansh falls through the branches, directly onto Mare. "Ow- I'm, really sorry-" he apologizes, flapping his wings shut, stands up and offers Mare a hand. He thought now he'd probably just stick to riding Flare for now.

Mare curses in latin. "Oh my god, you seriously need to stop almost giving me heart attacks!" she snapped, taking his hand and standing up. She steps back, wary of attack. Her hands already in her starting combat position, just in case. She eyes the elytra.

Once Ellie (and Echo) had joined up with Rita, Coraline, and Bella (the later two sitting on Rita's shoulders viva squid form and octopus form respectively.) Rita gave a nod at Echo but didn't say anything else at the moment

Suvansh takes a step back, raising his hands up, signing peace. "Sorry Mare, I just- it's my first time trying out an elytra, and I lost balance. My father...he never let me even touch it at home..." His mind goes back to the memories. His dad would protect the elytra like it was the most precious thing in the world. "It belonged to your grandfather. Before that, his father, and so on, dating back to almost 400 years." he remembers his dad saying to him once. Could such a patchwork of fibre really be that old? He wondered, but never questioned his father further. He was happy, that he finally gave it to him, but then, he thought, he sent it to him, to the place he dreaded most, probably just hours before he dies. He notices Mare staring at him, and snaps back into reality. "I'm sorry again." He runs an eye around his surrounding, seeing that there was no one around.

Mare lets her guard down slightly. "Oh." she lets out the breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding. "I..I'm going to the Arctic." she blurts out. "I guess you're welcome to come with me." she adds, slightly more hesitantly. She edged backwards slowly, in case this was a trick.

"Oh, sure!" He says, maybe with a bit much enthusiasm, as he always does, but then blushes and keeps his hands behind his back, as if in embarrassment. Then, he suddenly blurts out a question, without thinking twice "Do you want to ride on Flare?"

Mare smiles mournfully. "I think I'll stay on the ground. I don't do well with fire..." she said, referring to Flare's tail. Mare takes a deep breath and steels her nerves for the memory she knew would come.

Fire. Everywhere. Swirling around and around and around. There was no escape. People where screaming. It was too much for little Mare to bear. Mare curled up, and the hungry flames engulfed her, taking her life away...

Mare shudders. That memory hit hard. Even in Specter form, fire still hurt Mare. Fire was how Mare died the first time, and something told Mare that fire would have something to do with the second time..

Suvansh nods, acknowledging her choice, and remembering how she flinched a bit when she touched the fire in the bulb when she demonstrated him. Seemingly she should have been fine with everything in Spector form, and in fact she was, but if she wasn't comfortable with it, fair enough. "Alright." He decides, he would also walk the way from here, trying to launch and fly with his elytra from the ground itself. He asks Flare to fly above them, keeping an eye out. "It pains to kill people." He says, remebering how Flare's blast blackened that dead tribute.

Mare freezes. "I don't know what your talking about." she says stiffly. "Did he see?"she wonders, suddenly feeling very comfortable. "Let's hurry." she says, starting to walk a little faster, as if she wanted to get away from where they were.

Suvansh raises an eyebrow to her sudden defiance. It's just- it's just a natural thought- Then, as if he read her mind, remembered how she had killed the tribute, and did not feel happy about it. He feels strange at her sudden change of mood. He nods to get plea to move faster, and followed suit. From time to time, he would launch himself to check out with Flare, and then glide back down to Mare. He was getting more comfortable with the elytra, and felt it was actually not as difficult as he first thought. They swiftly reached the artic zone of the arena, starting to shiver by the cold. Suvansh didn't have anything warm on him, so he called out Flare to come down, for some warmth, forgetting what Mare said about fire. Realising her discomfort, he apologizes and sends him back up.

Mare shrugs it off. She pulls the leather jacket out of the bag and gives it to Suvansh. She wraps the fleece blanket around her own shoulders. She closes the bag again. "When we find a good place to stop, I have some food and fire materials." she tells him. "I also have some rope." she adds, her pale skin looking somehow paler in the shine of the snow and ice.

Suvansh gives her a warm smile, thanking her for the jacket, taking his elytra off and keeping it into his bag, to wear the jacket. He hadn't looked into his bags yet, which he had two of. One was Sandy Yellow, and one was Viridian Green. Noticing that Mare's silver bag had supplies for the artic, he thought his bags would be for the desert and the forest. There was food in both, and an extra canteen of water in the desert bag. He noticed, there was a tent in the forest bag. He even found some sand grenades, which would act as smoke bombs, in the desert bag. He tells Mare about his findings, asking if they should set up a tent in this cold. He looks at her face again, adoring her like he did back in the pool, but only this time she wasn't asleep, her face looking pale, yet beautiful in the whites of the snow.

"I think we should, but not this moment." Mare said. "We need to make sure no one will see us." Mare said, kicking some snow out of her way. She didn't mind the cold. In fact, the cold didn't bother her at all. She just hated heat. "Let's stop behind that iceberg." Mare suggested, pointing to a very tall shape on the horizon.
