RoyalGecko_QueenOfEvil and I were talking and both of us think that pokemon accessories outside of the beauty contest should be a thing, like accessories that could show up on a Pokemon's sprite. Perhaps the user would have to pay to put accessories on their pokemon, or they could be rare items? Anyways, just thought to suggest it.

Perhaps customization items could be found all over the site (IE: at the fountain, earned in the Game Center, exchanged for at the Gem Trader, brought back from a Rumble Mission, etc.) and some might be rarer than others. I presume they will be in high demand when this feature is first implemented.

As for trading, just give them a sub-catagory like the Mystery Items have, and call them "Customizables" or something so that the item search can easily filter for them.

Actually applying these items may be similar to how you would apply them in the Beauty Contest, except with a smaller window and it would actually go onto a Pokemon's profile when clicked.

Support, it could be a very fun thing that the site could have. but maybe only certain pokemon can have the ability so the sprite staff isnt overworked

Suppport,this feature would add so much variety, Having certain Pokemon be able to wear accessories. I always wanted to have some of my pokemon to be customizable to make them feel and look special!

My main concern with this is: how much storage would this take up? is the database suited for such a purpose? would it slow down loading a page/clicklist?

Would it be stored as a static image, or would you be able to edit the accessories/positioning later on?
Would there be a limit to the number of accesories per pokemon?
How large would the cost to give a Pokemon the ability to wear accessories be (is 100 Nuggets too much/little)? [maybe an item is needed instead, distributed during special events such as - site/user anniversary, christmas - or obtainable elsewhere]
Would there be a limit on the number of dressed up pokemon per account?
Would there be user/pokemon level requirements?
Would it require your own OT?

Would dressed up pokemon be tradable, or account locked?
Would they show up everywhere, including storage boxes, or just on an individual pokemon profile?
