"Me? Win? I turned into a mockingbird for the sole purpose of angering them, and it worked! I'm already walking on thin ice here" Kayda reminds him. "You are also far more charming than I'll ever hope to be." The only tool that Kayda had under her belt was the fact that she was clever. She would have to come up with some lie to show a redeeming arc. Notice how all the birds died and all that remained was a mockingbird. That was supposed to represent all her forces dying by the Capitol, leaving her isolated by herself. The only reason why I fought the Peacemakers is to test the Capitol's strength. Kayda snorts at this excuse. Nobody in their right mind would buy that. She would just have to continue going doing the path she is currently heading down. It was a gamble, but it looked the most genuine. Perhaps she'll be sponsored due to her intimidating and resisting nature against the Capitol- she was different, she stood out, she would be remembered. This might just work...

Tenacity put on a mischievous look. "Oh, I'm charming, am I?" He stood, stepping around to crouch next to Kayda. "What makes you say that?" He propped his head up on one hand, the elbow resting on his knee. He clearly enjoyed taunting her, his grin growing the longer he crouched there. At this point, he didn't care that she'd already proclaimed she had feeling for him. In all truth, he had feelings for her as well. But it was priceless to see her blush.

Tenacity's tactics were working. She blushes at the realization that she had said that outloud. It doesn't matter, he already knows how I feel. She copies his mischievous look, tentatively placing a hand on his cheek and putting her forehead against his. "You just know exactly what to say and do all the time. You can understand a person. If needed, you can tell them what they want to hear, or lower their guard." She smirks. "I admire how well you can work with people, and I know you'll do amazing during the interviews if you simply be yourself... It also wouldn't hurt to drop your hatred towards them." She pauses before continuing, her usual joking tone returning. "If you can change me then they'll be no problem."

Tenacity froze up a little as Kayda's hand was rested on his cheek, his heartbeat jumping up a few beats per second. He hadn't expected this, to say the least. Her last sentence sent chills down his spine for some reason, his wings quaking as he registered what was happening. "If you can change me then they'll be no problem." Carefully, he set his own hand on his cheek, gently holding Kayda's hand there. He didn't speak, but he did look into her eyes, his eye patch suddenly feeling heavy and awkward. But if I take it off, we might accidentally swap memories...

Megami wanted to be alone. A 7? She was angry. "I was hoping for at least an 8." she thinks. She's really happy for Kayda but is really annoyed at herself. Frustration shows on her face. Megami decides to spend the rest of the day/evening in her room by herself. "Next time, I'll just kill him." she mutters allowed, hoping that someone will hear it. "Next time the knife will be in his throat." she says louder.


Silver concentrates. All the metal in the room starts going crazy. From the metal watches to the tables, everything is in the air. She forces the metal to come together, to make a very very long and sharp looking pointy thing. She forces it outward at the gamemakers and it splinters. Parts of it pinning gamemakers to the wall, parts even cutting the gamemakers. She just stands there. It's a lot like Megami's thing except Silver says nothing.
His smile has a grip on me <3

The kid came from his bedroom and looked at the scores. "Of coarse" He then went to go fix his hair. "ugh"

There were plenty of sarcastic remarks Kayda could say that would ruin this moment. "How's that for charming? Told you I'd win this bet!" Kayda instead stays silent. She finds that she doesn't want to ruin this moment, in fact she didn't want this moment to end. She allows herself to drop everything. How she'll act during her interview, her plans for the arena, even her burning anger for everything relating to the Capitol. Kayda's appearance seems to change, suddenly looking less sharp and cruel and instead looking soft and kind as she gazes back into his eyes.

There was a long pause between Kayda and Tenacity before Akane broke it, "Just kiss already!"

Coraline hadn't reacted much, but now she felt this heavy feeling in her chest and she felt that it had to do with scoring so low. While everyone was busy, she slipped off the couch and sulked to her room to either cry or lay on her bed. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do yet.

Tenacity blinked, Akane's words hitting him like a truck. He looked panicked for a moment, seeming to realize that there were other people there. Then, the panic faded. He gave Kayda a look, his eyes sparkling with a sudden idea. "Hmm, maybe.." A split second passed, a blur of motion taking Tenacity's place. The next moment was time to realize what had happened. Tenacity now sat on the bed where Kayda had previously been laying. Now, she lay in his arms, the Tenacity holding her carefully, as if she might break. His grin said it all: "I've got you."

Kayda had felt the same panic as Tenacity when Akane had spoke those words. But Tenacity being Tenacity; seemed to know exactly what to do. Having not expected this, she couldn't help but laugh. Her heart lifting as she cuddles into Tenacity's arms. With everything that was happening around them, she couldn't help but feel incredibly safe here.

Coraline stopped mid-walk as she watched Tenacity and Kayda curled up in each other's arms. Suddenly she transformed and launched herself towards the two and landed right between them before they could get any closer, just as she had planned. She changed back into her human/inkling form and was nearly squished by the two. "WOOMY!"

"Whoa, easy there Coraline." Kayda says with a laughs, trying to carefully move out of Tenacity's arms so that she won't crush her. Instead, she puts her head on Tenacity's shoulder, laying against his side.

Tenacity gasped a little at the sudden extra weight of Coraline, allowing Kayda to move over so they weren't crushing the smaller Tribute. Smiling a little as Kayda rested her head on his shoulder, he looked down at Coraline. "You alright? I think we might've crushed you a little bit there."

meg picked up frank and went back to her room and put back on her sweatshirt and other clothes and put her bag on.she put frank into her hood and he curled up in it.

Petra went back to her room, and put on some comfortable clothes. She decided to go with her usual Pether Nortal t-shirt, a pair of swearpants, and a jacket that read "yee yee" on the back. She also pinned a button onto said jacket that read "Be gay, do crime", and gave Ruby a birb-sized hoodie that had the same phrase as the button. Ruby seemed indifferent about this.

Tenacity had been mercifully provided with a selection of clothes that had wing slits in the back. A very large selection, at that. Settling on one outfit he'd never been able to wear, Tenacity started to pull the clothes on. A white set of pants, perfectly smooth, no wrinkles ins ight. A cream-colored shirt, the wing slits easy to access and shove his wings through. And, lastly, a white sort of jacket, the wing slits also easy to use. Buttoning the cuffs of his jacket, Tenacity smiled as he looked into the mirror. I bet Kayda's gonna love this. In all truth, he did think that. He certainly liked it, and he hoped that Kayda might like it too. Brushing his hands down his jacket, he spread his wings a bit. Wide enough to be decorative, not so wide as to hit somebody. Then, he turned and started for the door.

Akane came out in the main waiting area wearing an orange dress that appeared to represent flames, (far right) her hair had been combed into sleek silky waves that fell to her shoulders. "You don't look half bad." Akane commented to Tenacity. "I think Kayda will like it."

Coraline was given a tye numbered dress and was barefoot. Her hair had been left alone for the most part, only adding a small gemstone to the side above her right ear.
