So I'm not sure if this has been a suggested idea but I was thinking if maybe after completing the shiny dex for each region (like kanto, johto, hoenn, sinnoh, etc) if the picture on the stick displayed on your user profile will be a shiny.
Like for example if you've completed the hoenn shiny dex (), then the Torchic sticker would be shiny.

I'm sorry, but why? The Certificates are there, because you get a reward for completing your pokédex. Would making it shiny also come with a reward?

I just thought it might be a nice additional feature.
Like I know completing the regular dex gets you the sticker and also a reward from the professor.
But, I could be wrong, I don't recall completing the shiny dex comes with any rewards. I thought having a shiny sticker will be a nice way to show off that you completed the shiny dex, but I honestly wouldn't know what would be a good reward if it comes with one.

I don't see why not. Even though there's no reward for completing a shiny dex, the sticker reflecting that accomplishment would be a nice little reward and acknowledgement in itself. I don't know how many people would manage to earn those shiny stickers (probably not many), but I can imagine it'd be a really neat nod to crazy shiny completionists.

I don't really know much about coding, but I doubt it'd be a difficult thing to implement either since it is a pretty small addition. Though I could be wrong. :,D

I'm going to say that I would be neutral with this suggestion. Mostly because I think that majority of the community would feel neutral about this suggestion with how it currently stands, of course.

While I do think that this would be something neat that's aesthetical, I fail to see this being something that people would grind so hard to get and or bother with. Also, some shiny dexes are going to be just really hard/time consuming to go and complete, especially the Kanto dex. This is because you have Ditto, and the bird trio (Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres) that you would have to go and collect. Whether this is shiny hunting them yourself, borrowing them if anyone ever gets them, or having to buy them if they ever get put on the market.

Shiny dex to shiny dex with the time to complete them definitely differs a lot (drastically) from the regular dex to dex completion with time to complete those. This is something that should be kept in mind.

Regardless, with all that being said, the main point is that there's not any real reward or incentive to go and attempting to complete shiny dexes as is. While this would help somewhat in signifying great achievement, majority of people wouldn't care for such minor aesthetical changes (that are being suggested here) for the amount of time they would put into completing said achievements.

I'd love to support this, but when I think about completing shiny dexes, then I think about late end game for what this collection game is. There should be a good reward for completing shiny dexes considering the amount of time needed to realistically complete them. Such achievements shouldn't be slept on I believe.

The reward for completing a shiny dex could just be changing your dex completion sticker with the shiny completion sticker, and then the legendary reward you get is the same but instead is a guarenteed shiny?

Like, the Mewtwo you get for completing the Kanto dex, and then a shiny Mewtwo for completing the shiny dex for Kanto?
If I remember correctly that Mewtwo is a guaranteed mega-able though, so probably don't keep it mega-able, same with Johto... or maybe keep it that way for Kanto! Like said in this thread, that's probably the hardest shiny dex to complete? Wouldn't really devalue anything as I don't believe you can trade or sell Mewtwo anyways lol.

I like the idea. However i just have one suggestion. Maybe the stickers is only shown if (1)a user has collected all of the shinies in a certain region dex, (2)those shinies should not be "removed" from the user.
For example, if a user has collected all shiny pkmn in hoenn region, she would get a shiny sticker from that region. That shiny sticker will stay on that user's profile unless she will decide to trade or sell her shiny rayquaza making rayquaza missing in her shiny dex. Thus unless she will be able to get a shiny rayquaza, the shiny sticker will not appear on her profile.
This way, users will not be able to exploit this suggestion. As it would be easier for them to trade these shinies with other users.

On that note, i think it would be difficult for users to accomplish this. However, once they do, it would be really worth the effort.

I truly believe there should be some type of reward to encourage people to complete the shiny dex.
But at the same time it would be hard to determine the real reward, whether it's shiny version of the legends, or something else. It would be extremely hard to get like the Bulbasaur sticker because there's 0 shinies OS for Ditto, and bird trio. But maybe it'll encourage people to try to work as a team to get those shinies?
But it'll be a great flex once they get the shiny sticker on their profile.

How about this? When you get a shiny sticker it improves the shiny chances of Pokemon from that certain region. Plus highly increased breeding chances of the certain regions dex completion reward.
