Blossom nodded and held Emi a bit closer as Maddy, Irin, Star, and Barry left. When they were gone she went to check on Tani.

"Splitting up isn't a good idea, it would leave some of us vulnerable, some more so than others." Star walked by Maddy's side. "Where do we search first for weapons?"

"Star, was it? Trust me, if anything happens, I'll bloody my knuckles if I need to. Benton needs to be toppled, and Maddy is a key component in doing that." Making a fist and punching his open hand, Irin popped his knuckles and grinned. "I'm ready to defend her, even if it costs my life." At that, he let go of his fist and gestured to his father's knife and his kanabō, signaling he thought he could easily beat anybody that decided to pick a fight. "And if we can get to Mead's Tavern before any trouble is caused, there's no trouble. We'll get an escort, even if we don't know that. Anybody pops up with intent to kill, they'll have a blade at their throat."

*After 30 minutes, the group reached the end of the tunnel. Star went up first and surveyed the area to make sure no patrols were in the area. She then walked back and signaled for everyone to come up. Maddy looked at them all and whispered.* Irin, go get those reignforcements and raid the prison barracks. We will need all the help we can get and I know for a fact Benton put the rest of our forces there. Star, you go with him. I'll stay with Barry and get the weapons. Understood?

Irin nodded. He was completely quiet, even as he walked. His eyes held a steely look of silent, channeled rage as he motioned for Star to follow him. Earlier he'd been relaxed, almost as if he were drunk. Now, he was as somber as could be, every muscle in his body ready for an attack.

Barry nodded nervously. He pointed down one way. “W-we go over there.” he said quietly. Then he started heading down that direction. He was really nervous being alone with someone. Things could go terribly wrong in seconds. He was scared. Especially since they were getting weapons.

*Barry lead Maddy to part of the old town that had been abandoned after the Cloaks first invaded. Some of the old huts and old warmachine arrows were still there. He lead her to an abandoned house, where she saw several knives, spears, axes, bows and arrows, shields, and above all, swords. Maddy smiled and looked at Barry. She knelt down slightly and put her hands on his shoulders* Barry, listen to me, grab as much as you can and take it to the tunnel entrance. But move quickly, we haven't much time, Ok?

“Uh, okay.” he said quietly. He started going around, grabbing weapons, but being careful with them. He started putting bows and arrows over his shoulders and starts very carefully putting swords and other weapons. He did my like fighting and was a pacifist, but maybe he could let the others fight. He wasn’t going to, especially with a leg with a big wooden thing in it. He said quietly to Maddy, “I-I’m scared. Will everything be alright?” He grabbed shields and stacked things on them, to make more room.

*Maddy grabbed a shield herself and slung it over her back before grabbing a small axe for herself. She then heard Barry speak. He was scared. She looked at him and saw the terror in his eyes. She knelt down and looked him in the eyes.* Barry, look at me. *Barry looked at Maddy as she opened her mouth to speak* You have every right to be scared, I am too

“B-but you don’t look scared.” Barry said as he looked down at the ground. He also didn’t wanna fight, because he truly didn’t want to hurt anyone, even if they were a bad person. He just wished everyone was nice. He wished his parents were still here with him.

*Maddy brushed some hair out of his face* I am very scared. But someone I love so dearly depends on us. So I don't let my fear consume me. *Maddy poked her finger to his chest* And neither should you, ok? *Barry nodded and Maddy smiled. She stood back up and grab some more weapons and the two of them quickly made their way back to the tunnel entrance. Once there, Maddy put some of her weapons down and then looked at Barry* Take some swords and bring them to the others, and quickly. I need to get this to the others.

Barry nodded, and was smiling a bit. Maddy had made him feel a lot better. He picked up some swords and started walking quickly down the tunnel to try and find the others, hoping that they would be able to use them in a useful way.

Luke was currently laying on a bed. He didn’t know what he could to to help. The probably wouldn’t let him touch a sword, or even a weapon. He sighed.

Irin stopped, then turned and looked at Star. "Observe." His foot twitched, and an empty bottle flew up into his hand. Then, with another motion, he had his leg next to Star's ready to sweep her legs out from under her. "Drunkards will be plentiful here, I'm sure there's been a few times where the guards have had one wander in." Standing up straight again, he passed the bottle under his nose. He didn't seem amused by what he smelled. "You'll stay behind until I've taken care of the first two, then you'll come forwards. Make sure to grab a bottle, then we'll stumble in together and take care of the rest of the guards. Alright? I always thought this strategy was a bit like cheating, since nobody really expects anything until the knife is in their belly." He spoke so loosely, as if talking about trucking and possibly killing an entire battalion of guards would be too easy. Turning back around, he kept walking. "We're close to the end of the tunnel, keep a sharp eye for anything that moves. If it's aggressive, kill it."

Poking his head out of the tunnel, Irin bit the inside of his cheek. "Looks clear. Here, put this on." From seemingly nowhere, he pulled a pair of hunters cloaks and held one out to Star. "Believe me, it's a common look. What? You didn't think I'd been to the end of the tunnel before? I stashed these here just for such an occasion. Now let's go." Clipping the short cloak over his shoulders, he glanced back and forth, then stepped out of the tunnel.
