Of course Meka noticed the lycanroc staring at them, but didn't bring attention to it. She focused on the vulpix. "You wanna try dodging? Dodge this!" She started charging an attack.

Winter studied her carefully, trying to understand her technique. She was charging with her hands against her chest.... he thought, thinking quickly. She would probably use aura sphere again.. Timing correctly, she said. It was like he was moving in slow motion, once the attack was fired halfway, he made his move, dashing to the side, causing the attack to hit the ground in the place he had once been, causing an explosion of dust, he had completely evaded her attack. He faced her again.

"Gosh, you learn quicker than most opponents I fight! Even some legendaries fight like slowpokes...but you've got potential!" Meka praised him, genuinely impressed. She make act young sometimes, but most people tended to forget that she was actually much older than most pokemon, and her maturity was often buried under her boundless energy.

Winter felt warmer than a Kanto Vulpix. "You're really good, too." He replied quietly. He still wanted to test more creative moves on her, but he was suddenly nervous, he really wanted to impress this Mew.

Fortem took notes as he watched the pair train. Dodging? Hmm... he wasn't too bad at that. He had decent timing, and could use sand attack to help (although his parents wanted him to replace it with a better attack, he decided that it was more useful than any other one). It was with attacking and defending where his troubles began.

Drew ran to get some help for healing, but the wound kept on bleeding making it hard to move around. He got right near the end of the suburbs. He decided he would take a shortcut through the woods, after all, he needs urgent care. He ran through, dodging random sticks and branches, jumping over little streams, and walking through plants. He could see the exit, his eyes fixed on it. Then a strange figure appeared in front of him, making the two crash. “HEY! Watch where your going!” The figure was a fraxure. Drew didn’t have time for this. Drew replied “Look, I’m sorry, but I’m in a hurry.” He tried to run to the left of John. Drew was blocked. “Not so fast flamey boy, you ain’t getting outta here without a lesson.” John said. Drew glared. “Fine...” He responded. John jumped high up immediately, going for a double chop. Drew ended up blocking it with his thunder punch. Then Drew threw off John. John responded with “Gotta say your pretty good, you know, your the tough ones it like. I dig the red eye too!” He brought out a healing item. “For you.” With a smile.

She decided to wait until someone came to her, since she found it weird to just go around and ask random people to battle. She snuggled up in the corner and watched the match. It was quite interesting to see, and she could learn from it so why not?

(Oof that’s short)

Winter decided to test his luck. He used dazzling gleam, and the Mew barrel rolled to the side, he ran, sprinting to circle her, but she just came up behind him. He turned around suddenly, using powder snow to distract her for a second, then quickly sprinted behind her to use dazzling gleam again, ending up combining it with powder snow to launch what looked like fairy dust at his opponent, causing her to get hit again, blinking from the sudden light.

Meka decided to get a little more serious. She used aura sphere, and the vulpix attempted to dodge, but NOPE. Little did he know she'd combined it with psychic and made the aura sphere into little orbs that surrounded him, which she then sent to pound him at once, he didn't even notice he'd failed to dodge until he'd noticed her eyes glowing, by then it was too late. She stopped praising him, wanting to see all of his tricks, as she found this one interesting.

Moon looks at the arena scared and flet like a chicken but put a brave face and then she walked inside and looked at everything and saw the battles and her eyes sparkled ( for some reason...)

Fortem thoughtfully watched the battle. Hmm... combining attacks? That could work. He thought about his sand attack mixed with rock throw earlier. I guess that might work... but it would hurt more too... Fortem wasn't big on that part of battling. Sadly, that was the point of battles. He wished there was a way to defend himself reliably without harming the opponent, and wished he wasn't forced to train, either. He flicked his tail, watching the battle.

After a whole lot of healing Drew was back to full strength. “Ay, Drew. How about going to the arena?” Drew looked over. “I don’t know John, I might not be cut out for it.” Drew replied. John laughed. “Hah, I know you can do it buddy!” Drew smiled. He packed up his things and started to go the other way. “ Thanks John! See you!” Drew walked off in the direction of the arena. John yelled “Your welcome! Bye!” Soon enough Drew gained enough confidence to think of actually battling in the arena. He made it all the way to the entrance to the arena. Drew heard some loud noises in there, a battle was going on! Drew ran into the arena to see two Pokémon battling it out. “Let’s stay and watch” He thought.

After walking around she was zoned out on the battles and then stumbled into blade and then she started to say sorry about 23 times

Fortem swallowed his anxiety. He was never gonna get better at fighting if he didn't try, and the best time to do that was now. Besides the rest of the pokemon in the arena had inspired him. A little nervously, he walked around the arena, making it obvious he wanted a sparring partner.

Drew decided to take a walk around to see all around the arena. He looked up at all of the Pokémon using combos and other moves. “Oof!” He banged into two talking Pokémon. It was Blade and Moon. “Oops, sorry.” Drew walked off. “They probably are annoyed. If I were them I would be...”

Valkyrie, for some reason, was dozing off, her head bouncing up and down like she was trying to keep herself awake. She got plenty of sleep last night, so why would she be tired? After a few glimpses of the new Pokémon that had come here, she had finally fallen asleep.

No pokemon seemed to be approaching Fortem. Its because they saw your terrible fighting skills, and don't want do be associated with you, The anxious part of his brain jumped to conclusions. He decided to give it one last try. "A-anyone want to battle?" He squeaked nervously.

Winter fired an extrasensory while up close with the Mew, realizing she wasn't messing around. She countered with a psychic blast, firing past his own attack and flinging him into the walls of the arena. He sprang back up quickly, trying to work through the pain of his back hitting the stone wall that hard. He fired ice shard and used dazzling gleam to cause the shards to chase the Mew, hitting her and sending her to the ground. He trotted over to her. "Do you wanna stop? I don't aim to faint my opponent here."

Meka shook her head, springing up. "Nope!" she used recover, surrounding herself in a green light, healing up the damage she had taken.

"Grr, recover." Winter growled, muttering to himself. Just then, the Mew used her aura sphere psychic thing on him again, causing him to collapse and fall, standing up again, but shakily.

"Do you want to stop?" Meka asked the Vulpix.

"No..." Winter growled again, facing the psychic cat pokemon. He had more stamina than this... or was his pride getting in the way? Normally he'd admit defeat at this point, but something about the look on the Mew's face was egging him on, challenging him to push harder. He charged his ice shard blade again.

After realizing that she had fallen asleep somehow..., she jolted awake and looked around. Had anyone tried to wake her up? No... no one was looking in her direction... She perked up at the question she had been waiting for, “Anyone want to battle?”. She got up and ruffled her feathers, then looked around at the one who said that. It was the same Lycanroc... “Ooh! Ooh! You said you wanted to battle?” She excitedly said.

Fortrem looked down swished his tail, embarrased. "Oh... yeah, yes please. I'm not very good though... so if you dont want to, I get it," He said quietly to the Altaria. She looked pretty tough... but if she accepted, Fortrem would give it a shot.

She tilted her head a bit, trying to figure this rocky wolf out. Hmm... He seemed pretty tough, but he wasn’t good? This Lycanroc had her attention. He didn’t really seem like a normal one anyways... Maybe he was one of the knights at the castle? That was pretty cool! She gave him a warm smile and a light giggle. “I’m not either, but that doesn’t matter! It’s training after all, not a tournament.” She said
