Phew... The situation was pretty much taken care of, no need to get involved. Well, now she could focus on her plans for the rest of the day. Hmm... Maybe she could hang out at the playground? That seemed interesting. She usually played with the kids there, so it wouldn’t be unusual to see her there. But still... A small part of her wanted to go around and talk to people.

*Blade saw Drew* “He needs to calm down a bit...” *he thought. Blade saw the art shop winter was just at, he walked up and browsed, he saw one that had a Leavanny on it, how pointed at it* how much? *he asked the clerk*

Winter might need the help of a fire type for clay art, it seemed, but Summer had taught him a few tricks she'd learned in art class from school, and he wanted to try them. She bought some clay and a few jars of different colors of paint from the referred shop, he then started his journey home, passing by the playground and seeing a Mew playing in the clouds. More like a little pink blur, but he found it interesting and stopped to watch for a bit.

Fortem basked in the warm midday light (fitting his current form), and he let out a sigh of contentment... wait. Midday light? He jerked his head upwards. Sure enough, the sun was high in the sky already. "Shoot, shoot, shoot..." He muttered to himself. His parents were probably expecting him at the Fate Arena for his daily fighting lesson. He leaped off his cloud, and began racing through the district, yelling out sorries and apologies to people who he might have hit.

Still angry about the sale ending, Drew decided to go to the suburbs. He had a specific place that he could cool off from anger. After a long walk, and tons of wrong ways, he finally got there. It was in the park, and up a hill. That place had specifically the most shade. He decided to go up, finally landing in the lushes green grass and the dark shade. “Ah, this is the best.” Right after, Drew decided to rest from the walking, it was only best for him. He closed his eyes and fell asleep.

After a bit of trying to focus on the Mew, or that that's what he thought it was, his eyes were burning from the strain, not to mention he was getting a little concerned about his purchase, deciding to make his way home first, and display the Shaymin somewhere. He might come back and try to meet her, though. He always found mythical and legendary pokemon interesting, as he was a bit of a nerd for fantasy, hence his daydreaming of being a knight of some kind. Particularly a dragon slayer. The Fate Arena was a location he planned to visit to hone his steadily growing battle skills, which he was infinitely proud of

Fortem raced into the Fate Arena, panting. The place was crowded, as many pokemon liked to either train, or watch the nights at noon. Great, Fortem thought. More people to see me embarras myself with my poor fighting skills. He padded up to his mother. "You're late," She scolded, as Fortem hung his head in shame. "And what happened to your scarf?" His mother paused, and sighed, which made Fortem feel worse. His parents just wanted the best for him... he guessed... maybe he was taking the feedback too harshly? But he couldn't help it. "It's okay for now," His mother said. "Lets get started, then."

Drew woke up from his nap with his curled up ball position, he felt full of energy and ready to do anything. He got up and yawned and was thinking about food. Soon he woke up from his daydream realizing he was on the edge of the hill. He tried to balance himself, but it didn’t work. He fell, and started rolling down the hill smashing into rocks, Drew quickly saved himself by rolling up into a flame ball and redirecting himself. He finally stopped, only to realize that a streak of fire was left behind. He put it out, but barely could walk on two feet. He decided to go on all fours, getting out to the park. “Oh great, now I can barely move. Stupid hill.” He glared and then looked on his back to have a bloody cut on him. *sigh* “Let’s get some healing done to me”...

Winter busied himself as soon as he got home, deciding to head to the Fate Arena for the first time. He took off his scarf and cape, not wanting to damage anything as the other pokemon began their rough play. Not that he was afraid of fighting with clothes on, but he wanted to get better at it first, not to mention capes slowed you down. He put up his figure and securely stored his valuables. He then made a sprint toward the arena, catching Meka's eye, who of course decided to follow him, getting bored of the clouds.

"Okay, show me your best stone edge," Fortem's mother began. He let out a small sigh, to small to be heard. He'd only learned the move a week ago, and just evolved a month ago... he was still having trouble with it. He tried to swallow his nervousness, and used the move, rearing up on his hind legs and pressing his paws into the ground, sending a wave of pointed, glowing stones rising from the ground towards empty space (he was extra careful not to hit anyone ), before they were absorbed back into the ground. His mother tilted her head. "Hmmm... that was okay, but it was just 6 stones. You should work towards another, like this," She showed him, her stones more numerous, spiked and tall than his. "I know can do it, Fortem. Okay?" Fortem drooped his ears, a little dissapointed in himself. His mother had tried encourage him... but it felt like more expectations. He nodded, and tried again, also trying to ignore stares from the other knights.

She continues to run but this time more faster she felt a boost of energy spark inside of her and she was smiling and then thought she could spice it up and start to run in a zig zag and she started to do it and then saw the arena in the distance but then her scarf fell of from the rush of the wind and it still felt good on her face and her neck with was now bare but the screeched to a stop and ran to get her scarf

Winter arrived at the Arena in question, noticing a familiar pink blur fly above his head. "Hi!" The Mew, now confirmed, called down. Winter looked up at her, wondering if he was staring at a possible opponent, and called back up. "Oh hey. It seems I've been noticed my a mythic." causing the pokemon to fly lower, giggling and looking flattered.

"So, ya wanna battle?" Winter asked the pink cat pokemon

"You sure? I'm warning you, but I'm actually a really seasoned fighter, you wouldn't want me going serious on you."

Winter shrugged. "It's a practice battle. You don't have to get serious. Plus, I have some interesting moves I'd like to try out that you might find a little interesting."

Her eyes sparkled. "Okay then, vulpix." She smiled, and immediately fired and Aura sphere at him

Winter just barely dodged. "Gah! I had no warning!" he protested.

"Is an opponent in a real battle going to warn you before attacking?" The Mew countered.

"Fair." He fired an ice shard, which she dodged with no problem. Grr...had he chosen the wrong opponent?

Fortem tried again, managing 7 stones, but they were a lot shorter, and had smooth tops. His mother shook her head, making Fortem feel worse. "You managed another rock, which was good, but in a battle, that would just lift the opponent up, giving them the high ground." Fortrem's gaze wandered off to a mew, who seemed to be fighting an icy vulpix with ease. He sighed. He wondered if he'd ever be as good of a fighter as that... he wasn't sure he wanted to be, though, that would mean hurting others, and yourself... he didn't know what he wanted to do in life. The voice of his mother focused him. "Maybe this type of training won't work, and it would be better in a real battle." She stressed the word real. "Okay, how about you battle me?" Fortem knew it was more of an order than a question. He nodded, worried. His mother was a seasoned fighter... she might go easy on him, but... she rarely did that for everyone, even the squires she trained. Fortem gulped.

"You're all supposed to be, like, guards and knights in training, right? How about you act like it." It was a clear challenge, coming from the Mew, almost like she was mocking him.

"Fine. Check this out." He was not gonna come in here, acting all confident and certain, then get mauled by this idiot. Oh hell nah. He used Ice shard again, this time, running into the attack as he unleashed it. The Mew dodged again, as he expected, but he leaped onto the still flying ice shards and grabbed one in his mouth, kicking off of the others, and flew toward the Mew, using powder snow to build up the blade in his mouth, creating something like Zacian's Behemoth Blade. In fact, he was turning the shard into a full on sword, which the Mew clearly wasn't expecting. He slashed her with it, giving no room to dodge and she fell back with a startled screech. Winter fell to the ground, his shard still in his mouth.

The Mew raced back to him, recovering quickly. "Wow, vulpix! That was really cool!"

Winter was taken aback, was the mythic praising him? "Thanks?" He replied as the attack dissolved into snowy dust.

The Mew was giving him a nod. "It's a really cool backup plan if someone dodges the shard. I totally wasn't expecting that!"

Backup plan...that wasn't what it was made to be, but he supposed it could work that way. "Thanks." He repeated. but the battle wasn't quite wrapped up yet. He used extrasensory, which the Mew dodged again. "How do you dodge that fast?" He called to her.

"It's...kinda a skill i developed over time... it's all about predicting your opponent's moves and choosing your timing carefully." She called back. This was a learning experience, right? Maybe teaching each other techniques would be cool. But her definition of learning was to do so in the heat of the moment, and figure out her own counter. It was how she was so good at battling, she was unpredictable, or tried to be.

Oh yeah, that’s right! She still had some training to do, something she had been putting off for weeks. She loved to fight but mainly because it was “fun”. She would never be able to make it out of a real battle, even if she was pretty powerful. Well, she could still try! She flew on over to the arena (or whatever) and looked around, trying to find an opponent. As an Altaria, she would most likely be seen as a challenging opponent, giving her many requests. She rejected most of them, since they just seemed too “mean”

Fortem's mother stomped her paw. "Ready? GO!" She lunged at Fortem, claws out and ready to slash. Surprised, he yelped, and leaped to the side, barely missing the attack. Then, he used sand attack, sweeping up the dust in the arena and directing it at her eyes. She coughed and blinked. "That's a cowardly move, Fortem! You only use that move to escape." She was clearly suggesting that he swap it out, but Fortem didn't want to. It kept him safe, after all. A cowardly move for a cowardly me,. he thought, but he wanted to prove her wrong.

Feeling a spark of determination, he used sand attack again, defying her words. As she coughed and shook off the sand, Fortem used rock throw, a move he learned when he was just a rockruff, which flew with the sand, and hit his mother (oh yeah, her name was comet ) in the face, leaving some small scratches. It wasn't much, but he'd done something, at least! He hoped to feel pride, like all the other pokemon probably felt after landing a hit, but instead, he only felt worried.

"Are you ok?" He asked quickly." Comet shook off the last of the dust. "Of course I'm okay!" She snapped, making Fortem flinch. "I'm a knight, after all. But, that wasn't half bad. At least you scored a blow," She tone softened. "That's enough training for the day. I need to work with the squires now." She flicked her tail, and walked off, probably happy to be working with someone more skilled than Fortem. He sighed, and began walking off. Maybe watching others fight would help him to fight? Fortem didn't really like watching battles... he always imagined pain where the other pokemon got hurt (this is a real type of synesthesia) , and it made him uncomfortable, and feel bad for them. But he didn't want to let his mother down... He padded to the side of the arena, and watched the mew from before talk to the vulpix. Hopefully they wouldn't see him staring and think he was sketchy or anything.

Valkyrie noticed the same Lycanroc fighting with someone else in the arena. She couldn’t see them that well due to the dusty storm Fortem had brewed up, but it seemed fun! She decided not to engage a conversation with him just yet... Maybe he was tired and grumpy? She didn’t want to be yelled at... She saw another Mew fighting a vulpux and flinched. Oh no... there was another Mew? That wasn’t good... It would probably see right through her disguise and she didn’t want that...
