Yawning, Iola stumbled into the great hall, hair a tangled mess bunched together into an updo. With his hair up, he resembled his father quite a bit. Strapped to his waist was a sword that dragged on the ground lightly due to Iola's height. Despite having attended class, he was still quite sleepy, not having woken up properly. "G'morning Professor." He mumbled to Professor Mercedes, a lethargic wave sent the elders way.

Professor Mercedes smiled cheerfully as Iola entered. “Morning Iola! I hope you’ve slept well!” She was a gentle soul and that aura could be felt. Leif also smiled at Iola when he entered, he was holding a lance.

Now that he had taken the time to wake up a bit more, Iola unsheathed his sword, the blade slightly lighter than what he was used to. It didn't matter too much, as he took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Well, best of luck to us I guess." He murmured.

"We can succeed. We just need to keep our wits about us. Any battle can be coinflip but...that doesn't mean we can't win this." Leif murmured back at Iola. Already, some Black Eagles students have engaged Blue Lion students, while some Golden Deer students were moving towards the forest

"right. We got this." Iola nodded feeling more confident now. "I watch your back and you watch mine?" He suggested, leveling his down down towards the fighting. He wasn't sure how well he'd fair in a combat situation like this, but his father had trained him enough that Iola knew he could at least put up a fight.

Ester gets her bow ready and charges at the blue lions, flanking them between the black eagles and Golden Deer. True to her aim, anyone who is targeted by Ester receives a healthy dosage of arrows

Some of the Blue Lions students turned to face Ester and the little battalion she had brought with them. Leif was busy helping push back the Black Eagles, the Blue Lions were gaining an advantage

Although slightly clumsy, Iola parried and blocked the advancement of the Black Eagles, a healing spell sitting on the tip of his tongue to be used whenever the opportunity arose. With the advantage weighing towards them, Iola swiveled around to watch Leif's back while keeping an eye on the Golden Deer

Once the Black Eagles had been defeated, it was now the Blue Lions against the Golden Deer. However, the students of Golden Deer had taken up positions in forests, making them more difficult to hit. Regardless they had to fight on. Leif used Tempest Lance on an unsuspecting Golden Deer student

He noticed the arrow just in time. He attempted to dodge but was grazed by it. “Hmph...” He was on higher alert now as he ventured into the woods, making it harder to spot him

It was an even fight. The Blue Lion’s strength against the Golden Deer’s trickery

Ester shoots everytime time she sees a blue lion, making sure her precious golden deer don't get hurt. She is tempted to line the arrows with poisons for real trickery, but that would only make her professor mad and her father disappointed in her low tactics.

Eventually, it was just a few students on both sides left. Leif and Iola included in the Blue Lions. Leif was using the forest to avoid detection

Ester has mostly been in the forest for the whole fight. From treetops you can see more and be more concealed
