Iola knocked back one of the golden deer members, but yelped when he lost his footing and crashed into the undergrowth. Briefly stunned but effectively hidden, Iola noticed a flash of someone moving and held out his hands. Spells weren't his forte, especially not offensive ones, but he was willing to try as he began to concentrate on a Nosferatu spell

Rolling out of the way, the spell he had been preparing fizzled and died leaving Iola a bit defenseless. "Damn it." He complained, reaching to pull out his sword again only to have the hilt be tangled by the overgrowth.

“Be careful.” He murmured to Iola as he stood near him, with his Javelin at hand. He wasn’t sure where Ester would strike next, as they were in a dense forest

She sneaks her way around and shoot behind them. That javelin hit pretty close, if she wasn't paying attention she might have been on the other end of it

He saw the arrow coming and dodged it just in time. He focused his attention on the area around him, wondering where Ester would come from next as he protected Iola

Rolling to avoid the arrow, Iola finally drew his sword, moving to stand back to back with Leaf. He could only hold the sword with one hand, the thick forest around them hampering his movements. "Think we can lure her out of the forest?" He breathed, eyes darting around to try and find Ester

"I doubt she'll let us leave that easily but we can try." he murmured back, as he slowly moved to slowly exit the forest from one side, carefully watching his and Iola's back as he went. Ester had Claude's tactics, and they were not to be underestimated

Ester smiles alittle and starts cutting off their escape, shooting volleys of arrows in the direction of the exit. She never left the forest, but knows if she does there is a chance her golden deer will fail

He focused and started using the trees as cover for the arrows. He once again, threw a Javelin in the direction of the arrows, but he needed to get them out in the open so they could see where the arrows were coming from

“Surrender isn’t an option in face of disgrace.” Leaf muttered as he rolled down into the foliage away from Iola, as though he got hit. He began crawling back towards the source of the arrows

He could see her. More or less. He kept creeping amongst the undergrowth. Once he was certain he was at the trees she was at, he attempted to surprise her by chucking a Javelin upwards at her, not so it would hit, but graze her

well that certainly does the trick, ester falling out of the tree to try to avoid the javelin. She tries to shoot another arrow at where the javelin came from.
