Sam opens his bag and pulls out a katana.
the sword looks to be in excellent condition,
the blade being evenly tempered and the handle
having a somewhat old cordage wrap. Sam also takes out
a whetstone and starts to sharpen the edge of his sword.
although being silent and not using his powers, Sam had
incredible skill with a blade, having learned to use it when
he was about 8 years old, and he didn't even start by
practicing with wooden training swords; he went straight
for the real one. when he finishes, Sam tests the edge of
the blade by running it across his finger. if it is sharp enough,
it should cut him very easily. if not, he needs to sharpen it
more. the blade slides across his finger like a knife cutting
into butter. Sam finds the sharpness adequate, and keeps
the blade out, undoing the wrapping on the handle. he
examines the old cordage, then tosses it into a trash can.
he pulls out some new cord for the handle and begins to wrap
the handle silently. when he finishes, he holds the blade with
both hands, keeping it perfectly balanced. the blade feels
comfortable in his hands, so he resheathes his sword, but keeps
out on his lap.

~~I'm just gonna put Scarlet in gym since that's where everyone is~~

Like Julian, Scarlet is much better at physical work than mental work. She does her sit-ups in the corner of the gym. She tries to ignore everyone as she works. Her series of exercise is twenty-five push-ups, twenty sit-ups, one minute of planks, and ten burpees. She does this whole exercise three times. Sweat drips down her forehead, she also feels a build-up of sweat gather uncomfortably on her back. After her sit-ups she activates her powers. She swipes her palm along her forehead, the frost helps cool her off. She usually hates her exercises, but today she loves them. It helps her release her steam and gives her time to think.

Seeing someone else matching him, Julian smirked and nodded in respect to her. He didn't want to make this into a competition though, and simply pulled away the sweat from his body. the little ball of sweat was a bit gross so he simply walked over and dumped it into the trash. Stretching out his warmed up muscles, Julian jumped on his ties a few times and began to jog around the gym, muttering what he had learned today under his breath. He had to keep his mind sharp along with his body

Luke sighs with relief, getting nervous for what will happen. He quickly rushes to a corner of the P.E. room and he leaves his violin case by Julie, hoping that she keeps it safe with her as the bullies start to gang up on him, and now there were 7 of them starting to corner him in one of the corners. He doesn't want to have to use his power but will if he needs to.

Seeing that Luke was being ganged up on, Saburo lingered back and narrowed his bi-colored in concentration. He wanted to see what the abuse was like before stepping in. If he wanted to wreck the most damage upon Luke's bullies, he'd have to ascertain their personalities first. He didn't feel guilt at being a bystander for now, knowing that his current actions would help Luke in the long run.

Luke decides to do it. He screams, a super loud shrill voice coming out and knocking the bullies back. He'll probably get detention when a different teacher enters, but it felt good. He stops, knowing it probably hurt everyone's ears in P.E. but it was nice to be able to fight for once. Now the entire P.E. class knew he had screaming powers and things get around when in school.

A different teacher comes in and assigns Luke a detention.

Sam winces at the noise, but he goes back
to thinking about other stuff. he stares at the
katana in his lap, taking the exquisite blade out
of its sheathe. he stares at his reflection in the blade,
wondering why people have called him a freak in the
past. Sam though he looked normal, but now
he wasn't so sure... he lays the katana on his lap,
not even bothering to resheathe it this time.

Paulo - Nobody Yet - Gym

Getting up from the floor, Paulo and his friends snickered as Luke was assigned a detention. The slunk away towards the back of the gym and started discussing what happened. Ah, the school was rigged in both a good way and a bad way.

" Man, did you see that? "

" Pft yeah! Screamed like a girl! "

The 7 had a hearty laugh about it. Paulo never participated in the physical bullying, but he certainly enjoyed seeing people beat up. He stuck around the top dogs, just because there was a chance that he wouldn't be picked on by anybody. Better safe than sorry.

" Hey, Paulo, yo' sister free 'night? "

" Naw man, got a detention for Visual. " he responded.

" Now really? This ain't the first time she wore a top. "

" Well. Y'know what the school is like. "

" Yeah. ///////// up "

Clamping his hands over his ears, Saburo winced, staggering away. The noise rang in his head long after the other teacher left, as he groaned. Shaking his head, Saburo eyes Luke warily. "You uh... Good there?" He asked hesitantly

“Yeah.” he said and gets up. This was the first time he had ever gotten detention before. He sighs. “The violin helps me to control it and make the noise not sound like a giant screech but more like really loud music. If you look close you can see the sound waves.” he said as he grabs his case and heads to the locker room to get changed.

Detention, great. Rolling his eyes, Saburo waved offhandedly to Luke and lounged on the bleachers. His brain was having a field day with the new information. Of curs she knew the basic premise of everyone's power, his intellect proving time and time again that information was the most powerful weapon one could have. But to hear it straight from the source, that only sharpened Saburo's blade even more. Eyeing the group of students gossiping at the back of the gym, Saburo grimaced and took out his handheld to kill time. No sense mixing in with that crowd. Saburo didn't need his social standing at the school to be any lower than it already was.

Julie looked at the violin case before covering her ears from the sound. She always had a problem to loud noises, since she had sensitive hearing, so this made it feel like her eardrums had burst. She gritted her teeth and tried to block out the sound but it was no use. Once it was finally over, she slowly uncovered her ears and tried to regain herself. She completely forgot that the violin was there for a few seconds.

Ambria almost jumped in surprise when Lorelai suddenly appeared. She quickly calmed down and gave a smile. “Well...” She dragged out the word, trying to match Lorelai’s tone. She was a more “keep it to myself” kind of person, so she wasn’t all that bad. “Just wait it out I guess! We could hide in the stalls if necessary.” She added.

May groaned at the sound. My word that was the most annoying thing she’d heard all day... She went back to annoying a bunch of people before joining a basketball game, being annoying as hell and blocking the shots. She would also drag out the match by fouling others and not passing the ball to her teammates.

Luke comes out, unchanged, and he sits down next to Julie, sighing. The only good part of today was that bullies wouldn't mess with him for a while. He grabs the violin case and opens it, revealing a well polished light blue violin and a perfect condition bow for playing it. He's thinking about playing but then he would get even more attention than he already had from the big yell, then from getting detention.

Julie momentarily looked over at look, fascinated by the violin. She loved how beautiful it looked, she could see why he cared for it so much. She did find it odd that he carried it everywhere he went, but she shrugged it off and continued drawing. Her notebook was filled with very detailed drawings, it was almost lifelike.

Luke, playing some music on the violin, quiet though, so only one person could hear it, which was Julie. He didn't really care if she heard, but stayed quiet and played with his eyes closed, feeling the vibrations flow through the violin to him and out from the strings.

From a distance, Saburo could see Luke playing but couldn't hear the notes so he hummed a made up tune, softly rapping to the beat as his fingers flew over the keys of his handheld. It wasn't anything impressive, and certainly not one would understand what he was rapping about, having slipped into his mother tongue for the fast paced beat he was making. Saburo was pretty sure that he was going way to fast for the pace of the song Luke was probably playing, but he couldn't bring himself to care, the ease of lyrics flowing from his mouth coupled by the rhythmic tap of buttons and the draw of a bow over strings sweeping him away in their flow

Julie didn’t really mind the noise, she liked it actually. It was soothing and helped her focus. She quietly hummed a tune similar to the one playing on the violin. After a bit she stopped, then stopped drawing. She looked at her graphite riddled page before sighing. “That was quite the scream you let out earlier...” she muttered.

Sam keeps his sword in his lap, still
studying if he did a good job sharpening it.
he comes to the conclusion that he did a good
job. it was just to bad nobody ever challenged
him to a sword duel.

Luke blushes a bit, then stops blushing and playing the music. "Yeah, sorry about that." he said sincerely, not wanting to sound rude around a girl. It was quite a surprise that any girl wanted to talk to him at all, right now or ever. "So what's your name?" he asked.

She nervously smiled and rubbed the back of her neck. “Y-you’re fine!” She said, trying not to make eye contact. She hated making eye contact, it was awkward... “I’m Julie...” she muttered as she moved her forearm to cover some of her notebook. She hated when people saw it, last time that happened she almost had a panic attack from the compliments and hate she got.
