I already know that there is a market where you can sell berries from your berry garden. But it can take weeks to sell your stock, even if you sell your berries for one pd each. I was thinking that you could sell your berries like you can sell items in the item shop. Like the item shop, the value would drop, so you wouldn't be making a lot of money off of selling berries.

The berry garden berries were made to be unable to be used anywhere outside the berry garden for a reason. Part of that reason is precisely to prevent them from being sold in the item shop.

The difference between selling things to the item shop and selling them to other users is that in the latter case no new currency is introduced to the pool of existing PD.

Even if the selling price for berries would be low, they're quite easy to mass produce. There's no telling what the implementation of this suggestion would do to PH's economy. All this is presented in the original announcement for the garden by Riako:

There's been some suggestions in the past to the similar effect of being able to sell berries to the item shop or feed them to your pokemon and they've been rejected. Like this one here where this same reason was cited as well. If you want more use for your berries, you can go support this suggestion of being able to use berry garden berries at the Moomoo Ranch that CatLady linked in that rejected suggestion.
