you should be able to put the berries you grow into your bag so you can feed them to pokemon. What's the point in growing berries if you can't feed them to your pokemon?!

Actually, you can't do that because as Riako explained before, (Can't find the quote XD) we'd be able to grow berries too quickly and they can be sold in the item shop to make profit (since there is a huge difference in price in the item shop and selling in your stall).

Berries grown in the garden can be sold to others in the stalls or sold to requests on the bulletin to gain pd/gems/stones. :) Eventually you'll also be able to get legendaries ^^

In the new feature, you will get a new "Berry Bag" which is used to store berries & seeds. You can move Berries from your Item Bag to your Berry Bag, but not the other way round. That means that you can not use berries from the garden for interacting or selling them at the Item Shop.

Reason: Economy. You will get about 100 berries per harvest (and some berries only take 5 minutes to grow) and that would strongly unbalance the rest of the site. It would be too easy to get enough berries for interacting and it would also be too easy to get Pokedollar by selling each for 20 Pokedollar.
That's why there is a new place called "Berrymarket" where you can sell your harvested berries to other users (at a much lower price).

There's been a suggestion about allowing users to use their Garden Berries for the Miltank Ranch, because you need the Milk for the Garden.
You can find it here.

That's about the closest we'll get to using Garden Berries outside of the actual garden (if it ever gets implemented), so for this actual suggestion, that's never going to happen.
