As it stands, right now, all the berry farm berries are used for making seeds or completing tasks, the higher leveled berries or seeds not really selling to other users because they have to harvest them first.

So my suggestion is to allow the berries to be used elsewhere around the site. No, not feeding pokemon, but kind of feeding them. What I'm talking about is allowing us to use the berry farm berries to feed our Miltank.

This way we don't have to use our item bag berries to keep the Miltank happy and producing milk for us, but at the same time it wouldn't affect actual gameplay with the berry feeding mechanics.

Plus, if this is implemented, maybe higher leveled berries could make the Miltank happier and they produce more milk or something. (or not, just a random add-on that can be disregarded)

I support this!
I would probably not use it since I bought about 800 moomoo milks from a shop but still great idea!

It's an interesting way to use the berries that keep stockpiling up. Unlike the idea of transferring berry garden berries to the item bag this wouldn't cause an unbalance, because you're limited on what you can do with the berries, basically it doesn't allow for getting rich quick and more berry interactions.

And the idea of better berries making the Miltanks happier and producing better milk is pretty interesting. It kind of reminds me of the Harvest Moon series, so like in the games maybe if the cows are really happy then they could produce Golden Milk?

Anyway yeah, this suggestion has my support.

Thanks for all the support, guys and gals :3

I figured that it would be more useful than the current uses for the berry garden berries, and, personally, I'd rather use my item bag berries for feeding pokemon, or transferring into the berry garden so I can grow more types of berries, not feeding my livestock for milk which I need XD (Which is what currently happens to my berries)

So I'm glad that others see this the same way. And I've never played the Harvest Moon games, but that sounds like a good add-on as well. Which might be able to add a new level of cooking to the berry garden as well.

Love this idea.

As it stands, my Miltank eats up about 37 berries per milk produced. For a task that calles for 14 bottles of milk, that's 518 berries to buy, so that I can feed my miltanks and thus get 14 bottles of milk. In the end, there is no real reward and paying for the gardening experience as the cost of berries from the item store out weights what you get from tasks.

Basically, as it stands, there is an imbalance in berries eaten vs milk produced vs Bulletin tasks. A balance could be restored if we could feed our miltanks with grown berries.

Yes!

I get like, 200+ Chesto berries per day and I never get to feed my Miltank, resulting in me have a LOT less Moomoo milk than.. er, say an average player. I prefer soymilk anyway XD

Absolute support.

It would make sense, since the milk is used to cook in the berry garden... a 'move to ranch' feature like the one for moving berries out of your item bag. And berries from the item shop are way too expensive for feeding the Miltank - $10,000 to fill up with 250 berries. And you can only put 6 items in your Berry Shop which makes it hard to get rid of excess. My only concern would be that it might get even harder to find higher leveled berries in the berry shops.

Omosky - 37 sounds awful high unless they've changed it recently... I would fill up my ranch berries (250) and that would last a couple days... and even if I was lazy and only picked the milk up once a day I would get 5 milks from each of my Miltank (15 milk total). So minimum 2 days, 15 a day comes out to 8.333 berries per milk. It could have changed though... I ran out of my stockpiled rumble berries and stopped feeding them a week ago.

I've already voted 'support', but I figured something out that makes me support this even more.

Krazykat1980 & Omosky - The reason your numbers are so different is because the Miltank keep eating the berries, even if they have the max of milk waiting.

Taking into account you need money to get the maximum of berries (because rumblers/boxes only give so much), that means that if you can't come online for longer periods of time, you'd actually be losing more money, making the value of the moomoo milk very subjective, depending on the circumstances of the user itself.

This also means that some users have a bigger gain (or simply a smaller loss) than others, which is not very conductive to a stable market, if we have to overcharge, simply to dampen the loss a little :/

Full Support..

i have lots of berries in my berry bag which i would like to use it for the moomoo ranch.

For example:

Wiki Berry (x701)
Level 1 (x256)
Level 3 (x150)
Level 4 (x1)
Level 5 (x172)
...

I have set other berries in my berry market and i wait that someone will buy that. Waiting 2 hours, waiting 4 hours, waiting 10 hours, waiting 15 hours, 1 day, 3 days, 5 days.... nothing.

Also it would be easier to save PDs too. I must buy 250-300 berries from the item shop, two or three times in a week.. when i buy that for 38 PDs (midpoint between 36-40PDs) so i will buy berries for 9.500PD - 11.4k a day (so 19k-22,8k (two times a week); 28,5k - 34.3k (three times a week)
