Bri was blown back but did an small flip to get back into standing position. He recovered his dagger before leaping at Akuma again with a Secret Sword. I’m not a kid anymore...he thought as he swung with ferocity

Fyssi felt the trembling of the building but didn't slow down. She was following a trail now, hoping to let the others focus on Akuma for now.

Meka zipped behind him. "Yup!" She called cheerfully. At the success of the attack, and being at full health, she couldn't help but feel happy.

“Gk!” He slammed to the ground and quickly rolled back and onto his feet. He quickly switched from going on the offensive to defensive. He prepared another Secret Sword in case

Panic seized Isa:s heart as he watched Bri. For a moment he couldn't tell if he was alright or not, but even from a distance, Isa could see that he was determined and prepared. Firing off a Psyshock, Isa moved his attack to envelop Akuma, placing him at the epicenter of the resulting explosion. With the damage he had already sustained and his calm mind, Isa desperately hoped that he could at least make this stamina monster stagger

November appeared behind Akuma and summoned two icy short-spears — sharp as a dagger — that fired at Akuma’s back.

Meka watched the attacks fire off. She levitated there, calculating her next move. What should she do? The haze was making it impossible to see..wouldn't it make more sense to just swipe Gira and run? There was no more fun, to many people were playing at the same time, and a boredom and disappointment as the fun ran dry left Meka feeling out of it. She wondered once again where Fyssi was. Was the Lugia on the other side of the smoke, or had she run off to play a more fun game? The idea intrigued her. She wanted to go! Akuma clearly wasn't in the position for a proper rematch, and the others probably wouldn't care if she left so why not...just...Fyssi where are you? She slowly made her escape, searching for the exit to the room.

Seeing as the dust was a perfect cover, Isa dropped to the ground and darted off to where he last saw Gira, staying low to the ground. Dropping to his knees beside his bound companion, he gently raised a finger against his lips before examining the chains that tied Gira down

November settled down with Isa, his ice wrapping around the chains and expanding rapidly. His wings were drooping by now with exhaustion, and they were absolutely caked in sweat and dust. He didn’t speak for a few minutes, but when he did he kept his voice low, “After we pull the team out, we need to see a healer for the team before we go face Eraqus. Do you have any contacts?”

Bri quickly took cover under the dust to help Isa and November. He began trying to undo the chains, and he brushed the hair out of his eyes

Meka left through the dust and darted into the hallway, looking for Fyssi, she saw the Lugia's tail vanished down the corner and sped after it, wondering where she was going. Gira was forgotten now.

Gira was close to fainting. He felt it drag with in him.


Despite all the attacks, Akuma took hold of the crystal in his sleeve and let out a single words “Burst.”

"What part of 'I spent the last year floating as space debris' do you not understand?" He grumbled under his breath, yanking his hands back when the cold got too much. His hands burned in a way that felt odd, such a stark difference to a certain lion headed egotistical male. Who needed him? Screw him.

"Sorry, that was uncalled for." He sighed, looking down at his gloved hands mournfully. "I have enough knowlage about the Flora and Fauna of the area to work some small miracles but if you're looking for a proper healer, I don't know a-" the light cut Isa off as he gasped, grabbing Bri and November, shoving them both forward to make it easier so that his whole body could shield not only his companions but Gira as well. Using his cloak, he covered them all up and quickly chanted a small incantation, calming his mind and raising his defenses in preparation

“I-Isa...?” He wasn’t prepared to be covered like that and he gasped at the attack and covered his eyes to shield them from the light. He eventually opened them when the light had gone and looked at Isa with deep concern. “A-are you ok?”

When the blinding light settle, Akuma was covered in a rainbow like Aura. “This... Is synergy?.... it feels... wonderful....”

Meka was probably lucky to be out of there. The others probably didn't want her ruining their fun. But whatever Fyssi was playing at...surely she wouldn't mind an extra tagging along. Remaining invisible and waiting to catch up to talk to Fyssi, Meka was a phantom, sneaking through these halls like she had as a tiny pink cat pokemon through countless others.

Isa groaned, falling to one knee and letting his cloak drop to his side. Or what was left of it anyways. The material had burned away, leaving an ugly burn across his undershirt. If not for his defense, it would have been likely that Isa's spinal cord might not have been intact after that blast. It was a miracle in of itself that none of his skin was directly burnt. "I'm fine." He rasped, pulling down his mask to breath properly. "Is anyone hurt?" Seeing the dancing glow of a rainbow reflected off the wall, Isa let out a pitiful whine and looked behind him. His heart sank at the sight, knees threatening to give out even with the ability the earth gave.

“Holy...Isa...hang in there...It’s my turn to do the protecting.” His cheerful tone had gone, and had all but vanished. All that was left was more cold and serious tone as he would step in front of Isa and the others to draw his dagger. In his other hand, a Secret Sword formed, and he adopted a stance, much like a swordmaster

Isa's eyes widened, as Bri's heroic silhouette blocked out the menacing aura, his determination back lit by a holy glow. His fingers twitched to reach out but a flash of pain had him thinking twice. "... Be careful. I believe in you." He finally settled on, his counterarguments dying on his tongue. Instead, he turned back to the others, relief washing over him as he saw that they were all safe and sound. Weakly grasping one of Gira's chains, he concentrated, doing his best to channel what remaining energy he had left into the bonds that separated him from his companion
