Ced would follow up the attack with a wind blade shot from a distance as he ran onto the scene. He gathered more air into his palm as he prepared to unleadh another attack

Lux made an unimaginable sound, One of anger, and pain. “I’ll kill yo-“ he said before he started coughing. With his last bit of power he had stored up, He was going to self destruct. “You’re coming with me” he screamed.

Freya growled as she released his arms and scooped her hand under his head and swiftly twisted it, quickly snapping his neck to try and stop him from doing whatever he had planned.

Travis simply watched on as they took Lux out, leaning against the building he was hiding next to with Lilith as he crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow at the fact he lasted as long as he did.
''well, can't say i'll miss him, mostly because he was extremely childish... glad he's gone...'' he grumbled, his bluntness showing through at an all time high thanks to his annoyance.

Lilith lets out a whimper, falling onto her knees and clutching her nose. A bit of blood trickles down her mouth. Now that Lux was dead his power was forcefully removed from her and it didn't happen painlessly. She covers her mouth to muffle her hard breaths. After a minute she seems to have calmed down and shakily stands back up. "Yeah me too" she tells Travis, wiping the blood off of her face using her sleeve

"I think the threat is gone" Maeve announces, loud enough for the guards and Chief to hear from behind the door. "But I say we stay here until we know it's safe. The vision did say there was multiple attackers"

Galahad caught his breath and looked at Lux one last time. "Sorry I'm late. I'll try to be as useful as possible. What shall we do next?Is everyone alright?" he was tapping his foot continuously.

The self destruct was stopped. And his body suddenly disappeared.

Kendo had made it up the temple stairs just in time to see the body disappear. “What happened? Where’s the Chief?” She asked in a panic.

Madrix stopped, knowing something happened to Lux. The smile faded and his eyes grew sadder by the second. Yeah, he wasn’t the best person, but still... All because of his stupidity he died. All because he couldn’t make it in time... Why did this have to happen?

Ambria “nodded”, confirming she allowed it. Besides, she didn’t really know what she could do anyway.

Travis perked up when he heard Lilith whimper and looked at her, his eyes widening a little bit out of surprise at the fact her nose started bleeding.

Freya yelped in surprise as she fell back a bit, sitting up and straightening her dress before she looked at Kendo and Fredrick as he came to a stop next to her.
''the temple is on lockdown, the intruder couldn't get in miss Kendo, your grandfather should be safe for now'' she said, smiling up at her without seeming to realize she had Lux's blood still clinging to her face from when she had sank her teeth into his shoulder earlier.

"Yes, I needed a strong power to have as backup" she answers, her voice coming out in an annoyed growl. "But I didn't expect him to die!" Her voice was starting to raise, although not enough to grab somebody else's attention. She clenches her teeth and takes a deep breath. "Man that hurts when somebody dies"

Her eyes widen when somebody's attention gets directed to her. Smoothly she transition from a look of anger into worry. She tentatively steps into view and quickly steps backward, she gives off a surprised look.
"I... Is that the guy that attacked us?" Lilith asks. Her eyes scan over the groups, she focuses on one of the auroras... he seemed to have a transitional power, that wouldn't be wise to use but it was better than nothing. She shuts her eyes to hide the sudden glow as she copies it. "I just came out of hiding to see what was going on"

Travis had quickly retreated back behind the building before he was spotted when Lilith had started to speak a bit louder, mostly out of fear with being caught.
no, no, no.....! their on alert, and Lilith was just discovered... i need to stay hidden until Suzan and the others get here he thought while frantically cursing mentally, staying pressed against the building as he tried to listen.

Fredrick looked over when Galahad got spooked and noticed the girl that had stepped into view, soon scanning around the area in case anyone else acted suspicious.
i don't like this one bit.... he thought, deciding to keep an eye out now while the other's focused on the new person that had appeared.

When she turns back to look at Galahad her face is one of sadness. "I'm glad this was all over, quite a sad day for us... I better get going though. I have family waiting" She stands there for a moment longer waiting to see if they bought her act

Kendo quickly ran to the temple doors. They were solid iron, and they wouldn’t be broken easily. But she would stand guard outside. She couldn’t imagine what would happen without the Chief.
