Once he had cleaned everything up, Queen silently sat down by Gerald, picking up the towel and gently wiped away any fluid on his face. Finishing that up, he sat back on his haunches and simply held Gerald's hand

Dante caught his breath, Before giving an embarrassed smile. “Thank the heavens, I stayed up too late last night” she said while laughing. He laid a hand on Flare who sat down next to him.

Leona had sat back down, And was once again deep into her book. She figured things should start soon. Heaven, who had grown impatient eyed one of the new people in the mess hall. Leona caught her eye, and looked over to Koehn. “Heaven, don’t stare, that is rude.” She told her guardian.

Gerald’s breathing eased into a steady pace, he was asleep, Drake’s warmth and soothing voice having lulled him quite easily.

Drake gave Queen a grateful glance, having Gerald asleep in his lap, he wouldn’t have been able to clean. He gently pulled Gerald’s glasses off his face so he wouldn’t crush them by rolling.

“When is it going to start...” she mumbled as she walked into the mess hall. She had her hands in her pockets and her head hung low. She was lost in thought so she wasn’t paying attention to her surroundings. Why is it so hard for me to go up to people...? Everyone makes it seem so easy... She closed her eyes for a second, regretting even thinking about it. Suddenly, a bulky kid came crashing into her, knocking her to the floor. “Watch where you’re going, jerk!” The kid yelled at her as he continued to run, stumbling at first from ramming into her. A flare of pain surged through her arm. Did she land on it? Her head throbbed and her vision was blurry. She slowly got up and stumbled over to the corner where she sat earlier. Timbow came running to her side, checking to see if she was alright.

Leona noticed the kid, Who knocked down the other girl. She quickly tapped her foot on the floor and in a flash of white, The kids bottom half had been frozen solid. He was stuck in place. She got up and faced the bulky kid, “You should watch where you’re going scrub” she said coldly.

“Who you callin scrub?” The kid growled, trying to struggle out of the ice. “That jerk was in my way!” He yelled. He glanced back at Tray and narrowed his eyes, then looked back at Leona. “How about you use your pretty little feet to release me, then I wouldn’t have to crush you to bits.”
(Idk if he’s sticking around... maybe I’ll make a form?)

Tray rubbed Timbow’s head as she glared daggers at the kid. Her arm hurt like heck, her head still throbbing. Maybe she should’ve just went back to bed...

Leona stared at him, “Silence, Punk” she said as she raised her hand. Ice crawled over his face and froze over his mouth. “Your words could get you killed someday, as well as your actions” She said as she stared into his eyes. Her glare was cold.

He tried to rip the ice off his mouth, but couldn’t. He tried to yell, but it only came out as a small, muffled yell. He kept trying to get his legs out from the ice, but failed to do so.

Tray stumbled over to the kid, anger filled her eyes. “You jerk...” she mumbled, slightly raising her good arm. A small line of water came off her fingertips and slowly made its way to the kid. The small stream crawled up his body and into his nose. After a few seconds, he was out cold. Tray extracted all the water she sent into him so that he could breath properly and wouldn’t die. She just needed him to pass out, hoping she did it cause any major injuries. “You need to calm down...”

“No, it doesn’t get easier. It’s only going to get worse.” Drake’s expression was downtrodden, his tail wrapped loosely around Gerald’s arm. “It’s going to kill him, eventually. It’s in his blood.”

There was suddenly strong shadows wrapping around the boy and Leona, Eclipse stood in the doorway of the mess hall, the queen’s yellow eyes sharp with disapproval.

Quinn watched the fight with an annoyed look. 'Fight first...ask later' she thought to herself. She stood up and went up to the boy. Sure, she was mad that he was being a bully, but did he really even deserve this? They could've talked him down. She checks him for injuries since he took a nasty fall. She says nothing about the woman who appeared, she'd rather not have anymore attention drifted onto her
(You should make a forum, it might have an interesting spin on things to have a hot headed boi in the rp)

Although he already knew this, tears still gathered in his eyes as Queen struggled to keep them from falling. "Well, that just means," he sniffed, words clogged in his throat as he scrubbed away the tears. "We just have to cherish the time we still have with him, right?"

Kodiak nuzzled Queen’s hand, whimpering slightly. The wolf had a large amount of respect for Gerald and Drake — valuing them as his alpha and beta.

Queen gave the wolf a watery smile, gently running his free hand down Kodiak's mane. His brain chastised him for being so weak. So emotional. Death was a natural part of life. Queen had experienced the death of someone close to him before. One would think that he would have grown accustomed to the grief

Kela was back from the showers, annoyance rolling off her in waves. When she noticed Queen hunched over, she dropped her emotions and quickly walked over to her friend, putting an arm around his shoulder. Careful to avoid touching Sylphid in order to avoid a nasty bite, she commiserated with him. Kela, behind that cold, tough exterior, had a lot of experience with loss. Waking up to what was left of her mother’s bloodied cadaver and seeing her two older siblings being abducted. She flinched inwardly as she remembered both — they were supposed to be long-buried memories.

Tray decided it would be best not to be further involved with the kid and the woman, so she walked away. She noticed Queen and Kela standing next to each other and stopped. They looked sad, but why? She decided to keep her distance, not wanting to disturb them.
