Ally sighed, walking around a small forest outside the town. She came to a large boulder and started to practice controlling her fire magic on it.

You’re scared of him aren’t you? You can’t do anything about it. You scare me to make me attack, or do something else. You know I’m the one in control. That’s why you say those things, make me do your bidding. Just stop, I’m not listening to anything you say. Flay stopped walking, looking back down at the ground. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists. She knew she couldn’t stop the voice from talking, but she could at least try.

Doctor Money went up a flight of hidden stairs and into his room. A small girl named Iro was chained to the wall in the far corner of his room by a restraint on her ankle, when Doctor Money entered she glared at him. How tempted she was to use her own power against him, but the colloar on her neck restricted her from doing so, shocking her if she even tried.

"Oh don't glare at me like that, you'll get used to it, not having a care in the world." Doctor Money assured Iro as he took the locket from his pocket and put it in the jewlery box on his desk that was filled with precious gems and other jewlery.

Flay was clenching her fists so hard, they started to bleed. She felt a warm liquid running down her hand, so she opened her eye. She wasn’t surprised when she saw her hands. She grabbed bandages out of her pockets and wrapped her hands with them.

Ally tried again, but this time her fire attacks made parts of the boulder head straight for her. Ally then quickly brought up her Amulet's protective shield. She sighed in relief after the parts of the stone hit the ground after hitting the shield. "That's enough for today," she muttered.

She heard something come from nearby, almost like an explosion. She ignored it and kept her head down and kept walking. She touched the door handle, but didn’t turn it.

As soon as her shield disappeared, Ally grabbed her bag and climbed onto a large tree branch. She sat down and pulled out her sketchbook. Ally flipped to a page and started drawing.

Flay didn’t move. The shadows clouded her eyes and most of her face. Tears started to form in her eyes, then a few rolled down her cheek. Her mouth started quivering. “Why do I do this to myself... trying to be happy when clearly fate has already decided a miserable path for me...” she whispered to herself. She walked a few steps in the house and sat down on a chair.
