*Maddy went into the barn house and into her room. She took off her gloves and tried to put her claws back in. Her hand and fingers began to bleed badly. Once they were back in she walked into the bathroom and washed her hands. She looked into the mirror and began to cry. She sat down on the ground and continued to cry. Then she heard a voice* I found this in your jacket. *Maddy looked up and saw Crouch holding a silver bullet. Maddy wiped the tears away and stood up. She walked out an took the bullet* Look, if your thinking of blowing your brains out, do it somewhere else, not here. *Maddy put the bullet in a drawer in her room* What I do is my business, Crouch, Not yours.

Snowflake didn't get a response, bullets flew through the windows, shattering them. Flay pulled Snowflake down and put herself over her to protect the child from flying glass shards. The bullets stopped the the soilders advanced on the van. There was a sudden WOOSH outside that made Flay and Snowflake peek up. It was a very very angry Faith, using her fire to keep the soilders back.

She looked at Flay. "Get her out of here! RUN!"

She was about to protest, but she followed Faith’s orders. A glass shard was embedded in her shoulder, but she couldn’t pay attention to it, or even feel it.

The trees bent and leaned in directions, not attempting to hurt Flay or Snowflake, but rather show them the way back. It could only be Sage's doing.

Flay noticed the “pattern” the trees were making, so she followed. She held Snowflake gently in her arms, making sure she was safe. Her left eye (and most of that side of the face) began to burn, like lava was sleeping out of it. The blue eye flickered a dark purple, but it was only a fraction of a second. Come on... it can’t be that far... I have to make it before... she lost her thought when she almost tripped on a rock, but she maintained her balance.

Snowflake looked at Flay. "You okay sissy?"

Faith strangely didn't attack the soilders even though they were shooting at her, she mearly made them empty each clip into her flames, they bounced and fell to the ground, useless. When they were out of ammo she smiled at their fearful faces. "Run." They bolted for their lives but Faith still didn't attack them, just watched them flee as she waited for Benton, who she knew was on the way so running was useless.
