"Of course I am." Katu responded. "I may not have a trainer, but the humans are important to all Pokemon, not just the tamed ones." She glanced to Blaze. "Even if some of them make less than smart decisions with their Pokemon."

She heard a soft thrill from the ocean, and found the Milotic they had seen earlier breaking the waves. He seemed slightly panicked.

Blaze ran up to the Milotic. "Hello!" Blaze said cheerfully, hopping up and down to grab the Milotic's attention. "Hello!"

"Ah!" Shying away from the two new Pokemon, Albafica. "Y-your welcome. Please don't come near me..." Trailing off, he noticed the trainer's that were under the shade. So they didn't disappear after all. Small mercies he supposed as he drew backwards into the water

"Please don't go!" Blaze whined. Katu rolled her eyes, leaving the shade to see the situation. She growled, and used Psychic to forcibly restrain him. "Don't do that. Not everyone likes their physical space violated."

"Aww..." Blaze whined. "But he looks really shiny! And gold! And pretty!"

Katu rolled her eyes again.

"I'm sorry about him, he's still very young and sometimes does things without thinking the through." Katu said for Blaze.

Hunter nodded to the receding Miltoc and grabbed the trainer it had deposited on the beach while listening to the conversation between the others. Dragging the trainer towards the shade, he thought that sticking together might not be the worst idea. But then again, what did he know?

He acknowledged Katu's apology on behalf of Blaze with a grunt, not really sure if it was directed at everyone or to the Miltoc in particular.

"Want something shiny? How about figuring out how to get these trainers to wake up?" Tenshi looked at her mega stone. How many pokemon thought their trainers were dead? She knew what it was like to loose someone, the first day after her trainer died, Tenshi had cried for her to come back, that was how she realized she could still mega evolve, but only when her grief caused her emotional levels to rise so much. Her mega evolution had given Tenshi her name, which apparently meant 'angel'. Tenshi almost shed a tear when she thought of all her nicknames she had been given, like 'red angel' or 'blood moon'. She turned her head away so the others wouldn't see her face and tried to pull her self together.

Sinking under so that his golden scales were hidden under water, Albafica blushed and glaced away. "Thank you?" He murmured unused to being called pretty. "It's fine..." Moving further back he felt uncomfortable being at the center of attention

"She meant what she said. We're trying to get a group together to help the trainers. Would you terribly mind helping us too? None of us can swim right now, so we're worried what would happen if we needed to." Katu explained.

Blaze finally squirmed free of Katu's hold, dashing for the Milotic. "I wanna swim! Please teach me!" Blaze screamed.

"Blaze no-"

Blaze jumped into the water, thankfully at an acceptable distance from Albafica. All his splashing kept him on the surface for a few seconds before he promptly started drowning.

She heard the screaming but didn't turn her head, she walked to the other side of the beach, she couldn't swim anyway.

"Oh, for the love of..." Hunter muttered, looking at the Fennekin. The Lucario didn't really like water. He certainly wasn't going to get in there when there was a perfectly good Miltoc a few meters away. And, to be honest, what did it matter? If the worst came to worst, the Pokémon would drown. Unfortunate but, hey, not really his problem.

"um, ah uah!" Unsure of what to say, Albafica twisted his body nervously. He wanted to help he really did, but he also didn't want any of the Pokemon coming near him for their safety. Even if the humans were all asleep.

Freezing in place when Blaze jumped into the water, the Milotic hesitated unsure if the Fennekin was actually drowning or not. When he realized he was, he panicked and dived under water to try and find the poor fire fox Pokemon.

Katu tilted her head, figuring that it wouldn't be too bad if the Fennekin drowned. One less crazy kid to worry about, bringing the total to zilch. Unfortunately, the Milotic then dove into the water, which meant he was probably gonna be saved. The Espeon sighed. Well, whatever.

Blaze wanted to scream. Air bubbles appeared, but no sound came out. He was rapidly losing air. He tried not to breathe in the water, and cheered when he saw the vague shape of the Milotic. Then he ran of out air, and he was forced to breathe in the water. His lungs spasmed.

It was dark under water but Albafica's eyes picked up Blaze's flailing shape easily. Not wanting to touch another Pokemon in fear of harming them, Albafica instead used icebeam to create a platform of ice under Blaze. Due to Ice being lighter than water, the sheet floated up carrying Blaze to the surface. Satisfied that Blaze was safe, Albafica circled around the water, waiting. He didn't want to go up just yet in fear that the others would crowd him

Blaze coughed up the water he had breathed in, twitching on his sheet of ice. Being a fire Pokemon, his unusual body heat was beginning to melt the ice. Thankfully, it was still pretty thick.

Katu used Psychic and lifted Blaze back into the beach. She wondered if she should try to talk to the Milotic some more, but he seemed pretty reluctant.

"Hey, where did the Absol go off to?" Kau wondered, finally spotting Tenshi some distance away. Katu glanced at Blaze, at the water, and back to Tensi.

"Why don't you get to know the Absol better?" She suggested to Blaze. He squealed. "Calm down." Katu reminded Blaze. "Not everyone is as high strung as you."

Blaze nodded. Kat let him go. He skipped towards Tenshi.

"Absol!" Blaze card out cheerfully, although not too loudly.

Katu turned back to the water. "If you don't like crowds, you can come out now. It's just me and the Lucario." Katu invited.

Tenshi turned. It was the fenikken. "You need to stop being so reckless, you know." She said harshly to the fox pokemon. Her fragile emotional state causing her to snap quickly. "One of these days something is going to happen and there won't be a convenient hero to save you." She glared sternly at Blaze.

The tip of his horn broke the surface before Albafica slowly peeked up from the waves. It wasn't much. Just enough to show he was listening but ready to bolt at a moment's notice

"Hello. Thanks for helping the humans. I hope you don't mind that we moved them to the shade. We were mostly worried that they would get sunburnt." Katu said, keeping her voice low. She hoped that the Milotic would listen - it would help in their search to end this fog to have a water Pokemon.

"What do you mean?" Blaze asked, confused. He sat down by the Absol. "I was just having fun."

"If dying is your way of having fun, our definitions vary greatly." Tenshi snapped, narrowing her eyes. "And fun isn't really our top priority right now, is it? Where exactly were you while the rest of us were working?" She stood up and towered over Blaze, baring her teeth.

"Do you think you could help us?" Katu asked. "The humans can't live long asleep, and we'd like to try and wake them up. We have no idea how many other humans there are, and some might have gotten into places we can't get to, not without their help."

Blaze whimpered, flattening his ears at the Absol's harsh tone. "But-but my trainer always said fun was important! No matter if we won or lost, we had to have fun! Besides! You know I'm small and a fire type! There's nothing I can do to help here!"
