Just as Katu was debating destroying some of the town to get
attention, a pair of humans walked into the square, exiting
directly from the portals they were so fond of using. She couldn't
their faces behind the protective gear, but she could see both were
male trainers. A mega sableye trailed behind him.
"Man, I hate routine patrols." The one with blue striped on his
armor (henceforth Blue) complained.
"Mate, you've only got em once a week." Red muttered.
There we go. Hunter thought to himself and glanced at the
others. He looked at the two humans and, what concerned him a bit
more, the mega Pokémon accompanying them. He didn't make a noise as
he sank slightly lower behind the fountain, not sure how smart it
would be to start fighting.

In a flash, Albafica slipped into the fountain water and his in
there without making a sound. He was used to hiding from humans on
instinct and it was by sheer luck that he hid from the right
people. He wasn't sure if it was the right course of action but
looking at Hunter he figured it was appropriate.
Aino froze in place, unsure if his natural course of action would
be the best. On one hand, it would be wise to blend in with the
clouds above but it would definitely draw attention to him but then
again, a cloud right in the middle of the street would be odd
enough. Deciding to stay put, Aino tried to discreetly hide himself
within his fluffy wings to appear more cloud like.
Katu followed Hunter in sinking below the fountain and hopefully
out of sight.
"I don't know for sure, but I've got a feeling there's someone
here." Red said.
"Those bags weren't there yesterday." Red agreed. "The Pokemon
behind it are probably asleep."
Why does there have to be so many mega evolved Pokemon. Katu
thought. Why. Why. Why.
The trainers approached the fountain. Aino was the first to be
spotted - "Hey, check this out!" Red called out, not noticing
Albafica in the water or Katu and Hunter. Ketu decided to take
being asleep. "What a dirty little bird! You think it fell?"
Hunter glanced over at Katu, saw what she was doing and decided to
follow suit. He slowly sank until he wad lying down and closed his
eyes almost all the way, leaving just a small slit with which he
would be able to see if anything was standing directly over him.

"These Pokemon must have some soft of resistance if they were still
collecting berries last night." Blue mused, seeing the Lucario and
the Espeon.
"Reckon the good doc would like to take a look at them?"
"I would think so." Blue answered, pulling out several Pokeballs.
Red had done the same. "I'll grab the bird, you grab the other two.
I don't have a lot of Pokeballs."
"Hey, more credit for me."
They're going to capture me. Katu thought. I'd rather
die.
She waited until she heard the click of a Pokeball being opened,
then used sand attack to destabilize the trainers.
"Who are you calling a dirty little bird?!" Aino roared, suddenly
exploding outwards. His feathers hit Blue right in the face as he
fumes over the insult. "I'll have you know I'm a prized contest
Pokemon! You'll pay for this!" His claws glowed in draconic energy
and slashed them across the humans face. He was furious that humans
would dismiss his beauty so easily.
As soon as he realised that Katu had attacked, Hunter rolled
upright and fired three Aura Spheres in quick succession, one at
either trainer and one at the Sableye. He didn't hope to do much
other than perhaps knock the trainer's over. He knew it was more or
less wasted on the mega, but he had to try. He was also slightly
taken aback by Aino's sudden ferociousness. He decided that the
trainer's at least would be distracted for a moment. He turned to
the Sableye and used close combat.

The Sableye knocked his trainer out of the way, using Poison Jab on
the offending Altaria, taking the Close Combat head on. It seemed
unaffected.
"Bloody-" Red was cut off as Katu dashed past between his legs.
Before she had escaped, or at least retreated to a better position,
he had pulled out his Pokeball and released a Tyrunt into the fray.
The slightly larger Pokemon halted Katu in her tracks.
(Before I forget: Sableye Moveset is Poison Jab, Recover, Will o
Wisp, Swagger. Tyrunt Moveset is Bite, Fire Fang, Dark Pulse and
Ice Fang.)
Taking the poison jab fairly well, Aino simply launched himself
into the air to avoid any other attacks. Screeching, he used Aerial
Ace to hit Red this time. He seemed to be livid about the comment
and was actively targeting the one who said it.
Albafica pressed himself lower to the fountain stone, squeezing his
eyes closed. He didn't want to fight. He hated this fighting. Why
couldn't they just stop?!
"Argh!" Red shouted as he was hit, stumbling into the fountain and
splashing water everywhere. His protective gear seemed to protect
him from most of the damage, but it still stunned him. In
confusion, his hand slammed against Albafica.
The Tyrunt used Bite, landing a solid hit in Katu. She shrieked at
the pain. It was a type weakness, there was no way she could have
taken it without damage. She focused on a nearby trash can with
Psychic, slamming it into the Tyrunt. He dropped her, stunned for a
few moments.
The Mega Sableye brushed off the attacks, using Swagger on both his
foes.
Hunter blinked as the Swagger took effect. The sudden shriek Katu
gave was enough to distract the Lucario. He looked to see the
Tyrunt and the Espeon fighting. Slowly, ignoring the fact that he
was completely open to attack, he raised his hand and fired a
single Aura Sphere at the Tyrunt.

Actually confused as to what was happening, Aino just stopped
flying and simply let himself tumble to the ground in a somewhat
graceful mess of feathers. Righting himself, he attempted to use
Sing to quickly put everything to an end but ended up squawking
unceremoniously.
Jerking in surprise, Albafica threw Red off and circled himself up
tighter around the base of the fountain in vain hopes that it would
obscure him from view. Not very effective considering he was a
giant water snake.
The Lucario roared in pain as the Will-O-Wisp found its mark. He
turned back to the Sableye and used Quick Attack, but he was still
fairly confused and the move barely made contact with his target.
This, he thought somewhat groggily, is not going too
well.

"We need-!" Red began to say, but Katu quickly smashed him in the
head with the trash can cover. He was out cold. One of his
POkeballs rolled out, opening to release a Pidgey. This enraged the
Tyrunt, which charged at her and tried to use Bite. Expecting the
move, Katu maneuvered the lid so the Tyrunt bit that instead of
her. She used Sand Attack again.
The Pidgey took one look at the location and flew to the air. There
was nothing it could do here. Instead, it headed for the base, like
its owner had instructed. Time to find some backup.
The Mega Sableye turned from one foe to the next, seemingly on
endless supply of energy. It rounded on Aino and used poison jab
again.
Roaring at the poison jab, Aino resorted to using Aerial Ace to
reliably hit his target, the Mega Sableye. He could feel both the
confusion and the poison working through his system as the world
blurred before his eyes. This was not going well and he was growing
desperate. They needed to get out somehow.
Hunter clenched his eyes, trying to clear his head. He opened to
realise that there was some distance between the Sableye and
himself. Acting more out of instinct than anything else, he fired a
barrage of Aura Spheres into the Mega's back. Most managed to find
their mark.

The Mega Sableye grunted, beginning to feel the barrage of Aura
Spheres. It had thought the Lucario mostly taken care of, since it
was under burn. Apprently not. The Sableye began to deflect the
blows with it's crystal, and kept using Poison Jab at Aino.
Katu acted quickly and slammed the lid of the trash can against the
Tyrunt's head, finally knocking it out. She rushed to the right
with the Mega Sableye, using Psybeam and throwing the mostly
destroyed lid at it.
Tenshi opened her eyes and stared at the doctor. She was strangely
calm as she stared out. Over time, she had grown to have no fear of
situations like this. It was quite necessary when high emotional
levels caused you to enter a form which was semi-impossible to
control. She had since learned to control the mega form anyway, but
she was glad she didn't look like a cowering captive before this
human.
