Hi!
I would like to talk about the sprites!
Yes, they are good overall.
but they are a little....plain.
i would like to see them animated please!
It would be much cooler!
I don't care if it is a 2 framed gif, just as long as they are moving. like this -->

It would be a pain for the spriters, as well as cause quite a considerable amount of lag due to gifs taking longer to load.

That, and Pokeheros has no need for animated sprites, the static sprites work just fine.

It is a HUGE problem for spriters if this is implemented. Also, watching the moving sprites makes me feel dizzy

One more thing: The gif you made isn’t a sprite. Sprites are much more smaller than normal arts, they’re tiny pixel arts, not drawings
Don't mind me, just floating around here and there, once in a while :3

Again, no support. Also as stated by Prinklix spriting is different then a drawing, they are on a much smaller scale these sprites and riko would have to recode every single Pokemon sprite. Sorry! :S

no support, it would take a ton of work on both riako's and the spriter's behalf for very little benefit, and make events happen much less often because of it. plus, i think having a two-frame animation would look worse than just the regular .png.

Look,

I've sprited as well.

And let me tell you this.

For me, completing a single, high quality sprite, without animation, can take a couple of hours. If I decided to Animate them, it could take even longer. The spriters have better things to do with their time than Animate around 2797 pokemon sprites.
Plus, as I stated before, an animation stored as a gif would take longer to load than a static image due to larger file size, causing a lot of lag, especially when interacting.

for those of you wondering how I came to 2797, the PH national dex says there are 1326 pokemon. I doubled that to include shinies, and added 151 to include shadow pokemon. This is just an estimate though, as it doesn't include some pokemon's alternate forms. You're welcome

Animating sprites is just too much work for something that, ultimately, doesn't matter at all. It's much better to put work into more productive things, such as events and sprites for future Pokemon.

There's really just no terrific reason as to why this would benefit people in any way.
