In his home, Hudson reads through a report about missing items, “Why do I get these concerns? And most of these are from the poor outskirts, they never learn. Claiming to own it doesn’t mean it’s yours. And books? Why would they claim to own books?” He throws the report on top of a pile of very similar looking papers.

Jules makes her way into the forest, staying low so she doesn’t attract any attention to herself, “I just want a pet. Come on, you’ll be verrrrry special.” She holds in a giggle.

At the top of the ladder, they reach an entrance to a room. Foxo carefully opens the door and makes his way inside. The temperature seems to drop about 10 degrees as they go inside, making the room cold and giving it an eerie atmosphere.

Jules is hiding in a thorny bush, “I guess monsters are real.” She’s staring out at the thing trying to get to her, “Unfortunately they’re big. So they don’t make very good pets.” She sighs and leans her head back, “I just hope it gets bored soon.”

Hudson groans as he sees more reports appear, “Why they use that thing to send messages is beyond me. I was much happier when they delivered these by hand and not through some... force.”

Brigit bit her finger nails. She was running low on funds, and here motel payment was expiring tomorrow. She starting pacing in her room. What job could she try to apply to??

Covered in cuts and bleeding from a few, Jules limps back into the safe zone, “Thay was a terrible idea. I need knives, or something.” She winces as she puts weight on her leg, “And I really shouldn’t have jumped from that tree.”

Jules hides in the spot she had claimed, cleaning out her cuts, “Shoot. It seems like I’ll have to head into the slums to get more medical supplies.” She looks at the battered medical box, “I wonder if he has anything.” She scowls, “He doesn’t even call me his sister, the arrogant piece of soot.”
