Rose looked at Luther. "Something I think the king should know. It
may be nothing, but it may be something" she replied. "Plus I am
bringing him his breakfast for the day."
He nodded before stepping out of the room. "Sorry, got to frisk you
real quick, especially with the whole Hadrian nonsense. God only
knows why he would make Hadrian king."
Rose was even more confused at this point. "I hardly ever see the
royal family. When I do it's quick with me giving them something
and getting sent away. Nothing more" she replied.
“I know I said you were an angel... But you're more than
that. You've come down upon this battlefield... as an Angel of
Death" ~Bungo Stray Dogs
"you were too correct"
"Yes. Well come in." He replied opening the door just wide enough
for her to get through. He was starting to get a bit paranoid given
the whole Hadrian situation.
Rose slowly walked in and gave a bow to the king as she placed the
tray on his night stand. "I um, I would also like to discuss
something with you if that's alright sir?"
After watching Hadrian leave with a small downturn of his lips he
decided to go to his room for a change of clothing. Herrscher knew
exactly what he wanted to wear and which color he wanted to use on
his lips, in a matter of minutes he was leaving his room to go find
Soros. To anyone else the clacking of his heels might sound jarring
but to him it was a reminder that he was finally home.
Soros had just taken a shower, changed into appropriate clothes
when he heard the heels. His hair was still a bit ruffled from the
shower. He opened the door, "Herrscher, you...need something?"
Herrscher tries to put a pout on his face but doesn't quite manage
it when a smile keeps trying to worm its way out instead, in the
end he huffs and ends up smiling, almost radiantly, at Soros.
"After how long I've been gone I guess I do, if you're not afraid
to tarnish your reputation that is." he says jokingly while holding
out his arms for a hug.
