Though it's been a long time for me, I believe I first saw the pokemon series when it was still the original series in Kanto.

My first game that I played was leaf green. After that I played at least one of the games from each generation up until you required a nintendo 3DS, which I really could not be asked to get, as that was the time I got in PC gaming, but I still enjoy to load up the old games and go through them every once in a while.

Oh and games like pokemon mystery dungeon and pokemon ranger were games I also played. I am a little disappointed now that they aren't releasing any new pokemon ranger games.

Anyway, what were your guys' first pokemon interactions? Whether it be the series or a game?

Even though I've been into the Pokemon franchise for years, I never really got to play the games from the beginning. My first game was Omega Ruby so I got into the gaming part of the franchise rather late. Mudkip was my starter though.

I think the first thing that introduced me to Pokemon was a Pokemon VHS at my grandma's place.

mine was pokemon fire red... and bulbasaur (or was it charmander) was my first pokemon... thats why i love gen1 pokes the best....

I started Pokemon playing the card game and Diglett was my first ever Pokemon.

As for video games, it was Pokemon Yellow Gen 1 will always be my favorite Pokemon series.

My first Pokemon game that I actually bought was Pokemon Y but i'm only 11. (turning 12 in about 2 weeks) Also, for some reason, I had a lot of trouble with the elite four back then, and I honestly don't know why. But my first experience with Pokemon in general was the trading card game which was my experience in Grade 2.

I did play blue a little when I was younger, but the game i was really invested in and completed was pokemon black

I'm a huge fan of all pokemon games. I started playing when I was 10 or so and my first pokemon was Charmander in Pokemon Red. Currently I play Pokemon Quest Game. That's so entertaining. I can spend hours playing this game with my friends.

my first real pokemon game i ever played was Fire Red! it's still my favorite to this day, honestly, mostly because i love the pixel art and general style more than most of the pokemon rpgs

My first game was yellow, but the first game I played that let me pick my starter was emerald, I picked Treecko. I watched the original series growing up.

My first game was Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. Honestly, I think the Poke Ranger games have a quaint sort of charm to them.
