But what can we specifically talk about regarding ddlc? Do we talk about the actual game, the characters, names, socks, what?!

If you have to ask if what you're doing is off topic, then it's off topic.

In all seriousness, just post your poems and talk about DDLC specifically. It isn't very difficult, and it's safe so you don't go off topic.

This entire conversation is off topic here, and it's not under my jurisdiction to say, but I myself would like to stop.

3 things:

1. I'm fine with posting poems but if I can't post when others do, it's not very fair, is it? Some people like talking about socks, names, best gurls, or other things but I love the poems, the humor and the stories so I like to participate in that whenever I can...

2. If it's off topic, can't you just ignore it?

3. What If I don't ask myself if it's off-topic because it seems on topic to me?

Oof hey guys I made a poem, feedback is appreciated, saying you liked/disliked is nice too

Surrounded by a blur of constellations,
I awake.
Tired, blinking.
I try to stand,
But there is nothing to stand on.
I try to focus,
But all I see are
Stars.
Swirling.
Dancing.

I awake.
In a harsh reality.
I get up,
Beginning my day again.
I sleep at the end of the day.
I awake again.
Only blinking.
Surrounded again by
Constellations.

I try to stand,
But there is nothing to stand on.
I focus.
The stars seem still.
I call out to them,
But they do not respond.
They are too caught up
In their same song and dance.

I awake.
Basking in the sunlight.
But it is still reality.
I am tired.
I do not want to leave.
But yet,
I force myself.

Boring day.
Lifeless day.
I fall asleep at the end of the day,
Hoping to see the stars.

I awake.
I am not afraid,
Nor tired.
I attempt to stand again,
And I succeed.
The stars cheer,
Constellations form.

I play.
With the starry lion.
With the starry twins.
With the starry dolphin.
Happily.
Forever.

It's good? I guess. We have different writing styles so I couldn't really tell you what to do. Each poet makes their art differently.

@Kuruma, I came in late here, so I don't quite understand what's the issue, but consider the following.. This is a DDLC club. We're allowed to post about subject around and similar to the club. Talk about the characters, story, memes, design, theories, etc. as long as it stays on the subject of DDLC. This club also also is about writing as well, so posting things you've written isn't a problem (as long as it's follows the site guidelines). Sometimes people may get the wrong idea, but just explain and it shouldn't be a problem, you know?

If you want to speak to someone about something off-topic (not related to the game or it's subjects), simply take it to Palpad or PMs! <3

@WhisperingThief Thank you very much! That was quite helpful and I'll try that next time. The whole problem was getting the wrong idea so thank you for clearing it up.

And if everyone is talking about Monika's socks, am I allowed to make a story abou Bp stealing the socks and me returning them or is that off topic? Because that's what happened.

What WhisperingTheif said was basically what I was going for. Sorry if my original statement wasn't worded properly/confusingly.
You may talk about anything AS LONG AS it stays on the topic of DDLC. Anything DDLC related can be talked about so conversations about Monika's socks are ok just not like socks in general since it's a general thing that's not DDLC.

Write stories as you'd like but if you are writing anything, put it in a spoiler box and use your poem color to show it's a story and not something off topic.

Sidenote: I'd also be appreciative if you could not rp on this thread. This is a DDLC club not a DDLC roleplay so if you're gonna do that stuff, make your own DDLC rp thread.
only mentioning it cause it happened a little while ago

@Buchanan Accepted! Welcome to the LiteraturE club!

@bpeugh1 Unaccepted. Please revise your form. Revisit the points:
Quote-"How active are you?:As active as I feel like being active :3" As active as you feelike isnt an asnwer really. Please give how active you are in terms of how long you're on each day/how daily you check the site.
-"Do you PROMISE to read ALL RULES and abide by said rules?:I promise to abide by most of the rules (not talking exclusively to one person)" You MUST follow ALL rules. If you say you're only gonna abide to MOST of them then that's unacceptable.
-"Poem color/hex code:Reality is like swinging between dream and nightmare I'd rather stay in dream but have no way to grasp any of it firmly although nightmare side is opposite I spend time trying to pull away as it grasps onto me I can't exactly win if when I finally grasp onto dream I find it is almost the same as nightmare as it dies fast once you finally get a firm hold on it ~Brian Austin Peugh (Niverna)" What I meant here was give a color your gonna use for your poems/stories.

yeah sayori is so adorable!! <3

Sayori is a pretty good character!! She has plenty going for her, and she has a really fleshed out character!

But I think Natsuki is cuter and I adore the tsundere personality type >:3

Has anyone wondered what books Monika read? Does it say in the game?

I love all the girls equally tbh! All of them are deconstructions of popular visual novel stereotypes which is why I find them all so interesting.

Honestly, the reason I FAVOR, Sayori more than the others is because of her strength through her depression just to make you happy, that's something I admire.
