those primals are so cute!

also i was wanting to show this screenshot off, i mentioned what was going on on FR with my tundra Chris and the pearlcatcher i recently hatched to Kuroo.
i decided tocheck what they're possible offspring were to look like if i put them into a nest, the results were.... a little unexpected.

The way the color spectrum works in FR is weird, my black and red pair gave me cream colored babies so yeah :/

I have gen 1 pair with brown shades I tended to breed but have not bc it has a red colored gene that comes from nowhere.

Those Pearl/Cream secondaries are not a bug. The possible colour range will always be the shortest between the two colours of the parents. So in this case it's like this:

Parent 1: Dust (in the grey range towards one end of the colour wheel)
Parent 2: Wine (in the red range towards the other end of the colour wheel)

That means all possible colours are:
Dust, Silver, Platinum, Orca, Ice, Moon, White, Antique, Cream & Maize from the top end
+
Wine, Mauve, Pink, Bubblegum, Rose & Pearl from the bottom end.

@Mafia so basically it's like the color wheel is inverted, instead of going for the larger range of color it's going to go for the shortest one.

Yep! My maize/Pearl pair is only 2 colors since they’re on opposite ends. instead of going through the *whole* color range, it loops on the ends and is only two colors. Pearl and Maize as it’s possibilities. :3

hm, alright that does help, i just figured it was a glitch and the colors should be inside the the larger color range =P reason i say this is because most hatcheries have like, full color spectrum breeding pairs, at least that's what i thought.

yeah i guess it does make sense, i didn't make any bug report about it mostly because i was gonna run it by you guys here in the thread.

btw the male tundra i'm selling the price was knocked down to 100kt, his sister is being given to a friend from another site as a late FR welcoming gift.
and the Pearlcatcher girl now has a name! her name is Octavia~ ow i've gotta make a dress up for her ^-^

the site devs are gonna release a new Modern Dragon(aka None-Ancient) breed in the future!!! ahhhh i can't WAIT to see what the new breed is gonna look like...! and a new dragon is gonna be setting up shop in the trading post in the future as well~
