This is awesome! Snakekit thought. Their tails shivering with excitement, calm with nerves but most of all, amused.

"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you your warrior names. Crowpaw from this moment forward you will be known as Crowpelt, and Ravenpaw from this moment you will be known as Ravenfeather. StarClan honors your loyalty, and ambition and we welcome you as full warriors of DesertClan" he continued with the ceremonies, and placed his chin on the new warriors' heads respectfully.

"Crowpelt, Ravenfeather" Tigerpaw raised her voice to chant the new warriors' names into the sky. Lilypaw, and Sandfeather joined shortly after.

Ravenpaw licked the leader's shoulder, Crowpaw doing the same. From there on, they were both very silent. Koikit was surprised on how silent they were when before the ceremony, they were chatty. "They're taking this very seriously," Koikit mumbled.

Flamestar nodded to the two new warriors, and waited for the chanting to die down. He then took a step back to be in front of his warriors once more. "We have a few new apprentices as well" he began, and nodded to Koikit, Ivykit, Snakekit, and Dawnkit to come forward.

Snakekit and Dawnkit looked at eachother and then over at Koikit and Ivykit. It was time. They took a step forward and looked up at their leader.

Koikit joined in along, learning the two names but still confused on who was who. She stopped when Flamestar called her name, in which she walked forward, holding back the feeling to just jump and run over.

Flamestar waited for the four kits before he continued. "These kits are old enough to be apprentices. They have reached six moons, and are now able to train in the ways of the warrior code" he began. "From this day forward until they recieve their warrior names. These cats will be known as Koipaw, Dawnpaw, Snakepaw, and Ivypaw" he said kindly, and scanned the gathered warriors. "Hazeleye you've proven to be a smart, and noble warrior you will mentor Dawnpaw" he began, and looked at Hazeleye. He then fixed his gaze on Fidgettail "Fidgettail you are ready for an apprentice as well, and I trust you to train Snakepaw with the honor, and bravery you have" he said, and nodded to the two older warriors. He then looked at the two newest warriors. "Crowpelt, Ravenfeather you two have shown maturity and bravery in your apprenticeships. I trust you both to train these apprentices well. Crowpelt you will mentor Ivypaw, and Ravenfeather you will mentor Koipaw" he said and nodded to the four warriors he chose for the apprenticeships.

Ivypaw glowed with pride. She ran off of the ledge towards Crowpelt. "Hi," She purred, rearing up on her hind legs to touch noses with the bigger warrior.

"Koipaw, Snakepaw, Dawnpaw, Ivypaw" Tigerpaw called out. Lilypaw joined in, but Sandfeather watched the others silently.

Flamestar waited once more for the clan to die down. He then continued "now that we have new warriors, and apprentices there are some apprentices that I need to give new mentors" he continued, and looked along the crowd of cats once more.

Pride overwhelmed the siblings. Tomorrow they'd finally become apprentices and explore the camp.

"Hehe! Hello Fidgettail." Snakepaw purred and touched noses with his new mentor.
"Nice to finally meet you in person, Hazeleye." She mewed, touching noses with her new mentor.

"Hello there," Crowpelt touched Ivypaw's nose with his. Koipaw walked to Ravenfeather, doing the same as what Ivypaw did. "I'm so very excited," Koipaw shook with excitement. Fidgettail and Hazeleye did the same with their apprentices. "Hello," Fidgettail laughed, tail swishing side to side. Hazeleye was silent but did the same.
