Tigerpaw looked at Flamestar. "Tigerpaw, and Owlpaw have begun their training, and while no cat can ignore how Tigerpaw's training is going under Sandfeather's watch...I wish to give Tigerpaw to someone who is willing to teach her, and since Owlpaw's mentor died we need to give him a new mentor as well" he began and looked at the two apprentices. Tigerpaw felt slightly nervous as a few cats looked at her. What if I fail Shellspeckle...will he start to doubt my skills to she thought to herself, and shuffled her paws nervously.

Shellspeckle gave Tigerpaw a quick glance. Don't worry, his eyes said, You'll try your best. That's good enough for me.

Tigerpaw glanced at Shellspeckle and nodded. "Shellspeckle from this moment you will train Tigerpaw. You have proven worthy of receiving your first apprentice, and I trust you'll pass on your knowledge to her." He said kindly, and nodded to Shellspeckle.

Shellspeckle walked to Tigerpaw and touched his nose to hers. "You'll make me proud he murmured. "Thank you, Flamestar, for this opportunity."

Ivypaw smiled over at Tigerpaw. I'm glad that worked out. She thought.

(So do you guys know how every clan has something special about them? I've come up with something for Desertclan:

Riverclan - Amazing Swimmers
Thunderclan - Amazing Hunters
Shadowclan - Able to sneak and move without making a single sound
Windclan - Fast runners
Desertclan - Can go long periods of time without drinking

Sound good?)

Flamestar nodded, and looked at Sandfeather "Sandfeather since you have taken the chance to continue Lilypaw's training since he mentor passed you will continue Lilypaw's training" he continued. A few cats growled lowly in protest, and Lightningclaw yowled from the entrance to the elders den "she's not fit to be a mentor" Flamestar rose his paw in silence, and looked at Lightningclaw "I'm aware of that, but with so few warriors we need the apprentices to become warriors faster." He said calmly. Lightningclaw narrowed his eyes, but didn't respond. "If Sandfeather fails to train Lilypaw as she had failed Tigerpaw then I will be forced to give Lilypaw a new mentor, and I trust you to train Lilypaw" he said and looked at Sandfeather with a dissapointed look. Tigerpaw held a flinch back as she watched the leader talk to her old mentor crossly. "Apprentices aren't to be trained by someone who uses them for all the apprentice chores" Lightningclaw growled crossly to Sandfeather. The brown warrior hissed at the elder, and Tigerpaw bounded away from Shellspeckle with an apologetic look. She then stood in the way of the two warriors. "Respect your elders" Tigerpaw said coolly to her old mentor, and narrowed her eyes.

(Maybe DesertClan can have hard pads to withstand the heat of summer more. That way they can dig into prey burrows, and hide from their attackers even if the sun is hot. Or something to do with fighting in the summer heat)

Shellspeckle nodded in agreement with what Lightningclaw said. "Let's hope Sandfeather learns that with Lilypaw."

Ivypaw flinched a bit. She knew Sandfeather deserved this, but it seemed somewhat... Harsh.

Sandfeather held Tigerpaw's glare for a moment and nodded "fine sorry, Lightningclaw" she meowed lowly. Her apology wasn't truthful. Tigerpaw flicked an ear crossly, and watched as Sandfeather went to touch noses with Lilypaw. The apprentice then looked at Lightningclaw once more, and went back to Shellspeckle.

"Now then.." Flamestar continued and tried to make the hostile moment pass quickly. He looked at Owlpaw "Owlpaw's mentor has died not to long ago, and while he had training in the past, I want him to become a warrior. So until he becomes a warrior. I will train Owlpaw" he said softly, and touched noses with the gray apprentice.

Flamestar nodded to the clan and signaled the meeting to be at an end. Tigerpaw then yawned, and looked at Shellspeckle "so what will you teach me first" she asked excitement gleaming in her golden eyes.

Lilypaw padded over to Tigerpaw, and purred "Mouse brain. I'm sure Shellspeckle will want to sleep. Maybe you two can come hunting with me and Sandfeather tomorrow?" she asked gently, and looked at Shellspeckle in question.

"Right," Crowfeather smiled and glanced over to Ravenfeather, knowing it was time to start their silent vigil.

"Ivypaw, i'm so happy," Koipaw shook in excitement. "It's a bit sad we can start immediately though," she laughed slightly.
