Flamestar nodded, but didn't look back. He dived underwater, and went to try to get to Tigerpaw. Tigerpaw struggled to make it back to the surface, her lungs were crying for air.

Frostwhisker turned and ran forward, crying out "Flamestar! Tigerpaw! Shellspeckle!" she had Robinpaw running at her heels. Robinpaw jumped into the river, grabbing Tigerpaw by the scruff and hauling her out. "Frostwhisker, go fetch Flamestar and tell him we have Tigerpaw!" he panted. Frostwhisker did nothing but nod and jump in after them both. Then Robinpaw set her down and licked her like crazy. "Tigerpaw? Come on, it'll be okay... Frostwhisker's getting Shellspeckle and Owlpaw and I'm going back in for Flamestar, okay???" He looked torn at the thought of her being dead.

Tigerpaw panted and coughed as Frostwhisker pulled her out. She looked at the river with wide and frightened eyes. "Flamestar went under" she coughed weakly.

"We know, Tigerpaw." Robinpaw mewed. "He'll be okay. Everything will." Frostwhisker had Owlpaw on her back and was hauling him out along with Shellspeckle. "I couldn't.. F-Find h-h-him." she said through chattering teeth. Robinpaw immeadeaitley got up and raced toward the bank, and hauled Flamestar as easily as catching mice. He panted and fell, unconscious.
