Shadowflame came out of the den quietly, and looked around the camp. He had a few new scratches from his dreams in the dark forest. "Then we must evacuate immediately" he said simply, and went to the Warriors den.

(Was half waiting for Lucky, but she keeps coming on and off. I think she's busy at the moment)


Tigerpaw looked over to Shellspeckle, and saw Shadowflame. The medicine cat fled the camp with Sandfeather, and Lilypaw. Tigerpaw sighed in relief, and waded through water with Lightningclaw walking next to her.

"No one should've told Shadowflame." Shellspeckle muttered. "He's so thing he could float if the water reached the camp."

Tigerpaw overheard Shellspeckle, and sighed "he'd still be in the dark forest though" she said lowly. Lightningclaw went ahead of her. "Think about it if he dies now...we'd be down a medicine cat, and that fox breath would be in the dark forest training all the time..." she sighed.

Ivypaw, who was much shorter (being the youngest of the apprentices), swam up to them. "Exactly. Besides, Dark Forest or not, no cat gets left behind. Speaking of, we should go," She meowed, swimming off to the more shallow part of the camp.

Tigerpaw nodded in agreement and followed Ivypaw out of camp. She looked back to make sure the camp had been evacuated.

Ivypaw shook off her now drenched pelt and glanced back herself before sprinting off to join everyone else. She yawned and soon realized the fresh kill was still in camp. It's drenched by now. Good as crowfood.

Tigerpaw hauled herself out of the water, and went over to the elders. She glanced at Flamestar who was looking down toward the camp. "We need to find a dry place to camp until the water recedes" he meowed and looked at his Warriors. Tigerpaw blinked, and looked around silently she was looking for somewhere that could be dry, warm, and safe from the storm for her clan.

Ivypaw flicked her tail, trying to think. Trees? No, no... It's high enough, but the queens and elders couldn't climb. She thought, glancing upwards.

Tigerpaw looked up, and saw a cave in a cliffside nearby. There was a path that lead to the cavern "what about there" she meowed, and pointed with her tail to the cave.

Tigerpaw nodded, and looked at Flamestar "we can stay there. It doesn't look like anything lives there, and it'll be safe" Flamestar said kindly. Tigerpaw nodded, and helped Lightningclaw up to the cave.

Flamestar looked at Shellspeckle "well if you'd like you're more than welcome to check before the clan, but take another warrior, and an apprentice with you" he said and nodded in approval to the warrior.

Ivypaw bounded in, glancing around. She wondered if the storm would pass soon. No prey for awhile, I'd presume. I wonder... She shook the thought at the sound of her father's voice. She chuckled. "Aw, come on. Have a bit more hope than that," She mewed.

Tigerpaw tried not to look upset as Shellspeckle chose Ivypaw. i might be his apprentice, but Ivypaw's his daughter. Of course he'll choose her she thought kindly. She flicked an ear, and continued to tend to the elders. Flamestar nodded, and glanced at Shadowflame. He flicked his tail to tell Shadowflame to go to Shellspeckle. The medicine cat then went over to Shellspeckle.

Shellspeckle nudged Shadowflame ahead into the cave. "You go first. If something is in there, it'll get you first, then we can make our escape."
