Tigerpaw continued to sit outside silently. Flamestar then padded over to her. "Is everything alright" he asked making her jump in shock.

"Errr....yeah I'm fine" Tigerpaw meowed swiftly. Flamestar looked unconvinced.

"Are you sure? You've been sitting out here for a little while, and Lilypaw looked like she was going to tear your fur off" he said in concern. "You know you can tell me right?" he said gently.

Tigerpaw looked away but I can't she wanted to wail out. She then pretended to hear Lightningclaw. "I'll tell you if something was bothering me...but I need to help the elders. Uh....their bedding needs to be changed" she said swiftly, and ran off before Flamestar could ask

Ivypaw followed him out of the nursery in time to see Tigerpaw run off to the elders' den. "She's been acting off lately..." She mumbled, sighing.

Shellspeckle saw Tigerpaw running to the elders den. "Go help her." he told his daughter. "Later we can go hunting if you hurry."

"Alright. See you soon!" She called, running off to the elders den. She nodded a hello to Tigerpaw and the elders before helping clean up the dirty moss.

Tigerpaw glanced over, and nodded a greeting, but didn't say anything. She continued to scrape up a few bits, and pieces of moss. She was talking in a whisper to Lightningclaw "they killed him though" she said in fear to the elder.

Lightningclaw looked upset, but sighed "I know, and I know you're concerned, but it will work out" he said quietly, and saw Ivypaw. "Hello Ivypaw" he meowed kindly.

(swear to gel! Swear to your god gel! XD sorry not sorry)

Lightningclaw looked at Tigerpaw, who shook her head, and continued to work. "Just a fight from a few moons ago. Tigerpaw is concerned rogues who killed Rippletail, a warrior from moons ago, and my brother" he began, and forced himself to go on. "She was just talking about how the rogues could return" he sighed lowly and dug his claws into the moss.

Tigerpaw continued to pull moss out of the cave, and she grabbed a bundle of the dirty moss to take out of the den. She didn't make eye contact with the other apprentice as she worked. Lightingclaw sighed, and shook his head. "Would you like me to tell you a story while you cleaned the den?" he asked Ivypaw in an attempt to change the subject.

Lightningclaw nodded, and curled his tail over his paws. "Any stories you want to hear in particular?" he asked, and watched as Tigerpaw dragged more moss out of the den.

Tigerpaw dragged the moss out of the elder's den, and growled. She kept thinking of the battle unable to get it out of her mind.

Ivypaw glanced over at the growl, but kept working. "Tell me about... Hm... Something that Flamestar did when he was an apprentice!" She suggested, already purring at the thought. She tossed another bundle of moss out.

Lightningclaw nodded. "Alright then" he meowed softly. "A few seasons ago..." he began, and thought about the story. "Flamestar, Flamekit at the time, was coming up to his six moons of age. He was extremely excited about becoming an apprentice that he continued to bother the other warriors about it. His soon to be mentor, and foster aunt, Tigerpelt had always put up with his antics, but she was spending time with Featherstar to notice the kit sneak out of camp to gather some bracken for the apprentice den." He continued. "So he snuck out, and was on the path to the moss den when..." he continued, and lowered his voice to set the mood. He then scored his claws across the dirt. "A small fox cub jumped out of the bushes. He was terrified, and attempted to fight the fox off when my hunting patrol came across him. He managed to leave a few scratched in the fox's fur, but he was shaken up." he sighed. "Featherstar gave him a scolding for sneaking out of camp like that, but in the end it helped the clan find a small fox den that was to close to camp. So she gave him his apprentice name, and she gave him to a warrior who was raised as a true warrior, but was half kittypet, Tigerpelt to train." he meowed, and finished the short story.
